We recently re did our bedroom and I wanted a light bed. We decided on this one. it was very easy to put together ( lots of screws though) so you need to be patient!! sometimes I feel like its not as sturdy as we would like but the bed frame looks amazing in our room and we sleep very comfortably in it.

I put this bed together by myself. The side pieces are jointed so they want to ‘bow’. That meant I had to screw in the slats to secure it better, as I will have my children visit and a spouse so it needs to be safe! The side ‘foot’ on the bed is a serious toe stumper. I literally have to wrap it in a towel when my kids visit bc I don’t care how it looks, I don’t want anyone yelling when they do what I’ve done multiple times already!! OUCH. This headboard and material on it was sooo disappointing but I need something in the guest room for now and tight budgeted with my recent move.. so it’ll do for now. But the material was said by customers to have an almost ‘velvety’ finish. I liked how that sounded, but it’s strictly polyester/Cotton like a thin pair of uniform pants like I wear at my flight attendant job. Bleh. The headboard is at the tallest option and you can barely see it behind the pillows. For $115, it’s livable, but it does worry me for safety. I’ve done all I can to secure it and deal with those weird side feet. It just as easily could have had a full lenght side board. The support under the slats are adequate & only saving grace. Can you imagine how much trouble (an open torn up box mind you, when delivered) would have been to send this back and I was on a time crunch!? Sadly easier to just slowly discard it when I can find something else.

Headboard in picture is very deceiving.
In the picture, it shows that the headboard is tall and no space between the mattress and the bottom of the headboard. However, if you put it on the top run, there is a lot space…enough that your pillow would easily fall through. The headboard is 14 inches. So if you want a small headboard that you can’t see when you put pillows on it, then this is for you. If not, you might look elsewhere.

Decent value and nice appearance
I wanted some nicer than the basic metal frame. A reviewer said it had a low clearance (6 1/4″) making cleaning difficult. Besides the 3 legs on each side, the king frame also has 12 legs underneath. While this gives outstanding support, a good floor cleaning means moving the bed. The headboard is the first assembly step, but be sure what height you want as repositioning it after putting it together is a royal pain (voice of experience). If you don’t want any space between the mattress and headboard you will need at least an 11″ thickness.Assembly instructions were very good and the way the fasteners were packaged made using the wrong bolt almost fool proof. They said assembly would be under an hour, but it took me just over two hours putting the king frame together (not counting moving the headboard). I’m pretty good with this type of thing, worked at a good pace, and didn’t encounter any problems.I really like its appearance, and despite the floor cleaning issue am very satisfied with the product.
