Benefits & Use Cases
Leather Honey Leather Cleaner Spray is engineered to simplify routine maintenance while delivering lasting results across various environments and applications. Homeowners appreciate its ability to restore the appearance of upholstered furniture like sofas, recliners, and dining chairs—keeping them looking fresh between professional cleanings. In vehicles, it helps preserve the look and feel of car seats, door panels, steering wheels, and dashboards, where daily wear and constant sunlight take their toll. Fashion enthusiasts rely on it to gently clean and condition handbags, wallets, shoes, and belts without altering color or texture. Even professionals in the equestrian industry trust the product for maintaining saddles, bridles, reins, and girths, thanks to its compatibility with conditioned leathers used in high-performance gear. Because the spray is designed to be used multiple times per year without risk of damage, it becomes an essential part of long-term leather care routines—preserving both aesthetic appeal and functional performance.
Unlike many cleaners that strip natural oils or leave residues, Leather Honey’s balanced formulation lifts contaminants while supporting the leather’s breathability and flexibility. It doesn’t require vigorous scrubbing or extensive rinsing, making it user-friendly for both novices and experienced leather caretakers. The convenience of the spray applicator ensures even coverage, especially on large or awkwardly shaped items like car interiors or outdoor patio furniture. And because it’s free of dyes and perfumes, there’s virtually no chance of staining or discoloring your leather goods—even lighter-colored or white leathers remain protected and vibrant.
Regular use helps extend the lifespan of leather items by preventing common issues such as stiffness, yellowing, and surface cracks. By removing buildup before it hardens, the cleaner keeps pores open so leather can continue to breathe naturally. This is particularly important for full-grain leathers used in premium goods, where preserving the natural texture and patina is key to value retention.
Important Notes
Before applying Leather Honey Leather Cleaner Spray to any item, always perform a spot test on an inconspicuous area to verify compatibility. Results may vary depending on the age, treatment history, dye type, or conditioning regimen of the specific leather being cleaned. Do not use on recently dyed, painted, or unfinished leather until fully cured. Store the product upright in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or freezing temperatures. Keep out of reach of children during application and allow treated surfaces to air-dry completely before use. While safe for regular household and automotive use, avoid spraying directly onto electrical components or sensitive electronics. For best results, follow up with a light buffing using a soft cloth if desired. This product is intended solely for external cleaning and protection purposes—it is not a conditioner, oil, or sealant, though it complements standard leather conditioning routines.

Removes dirt well, and the leather looks good.
Very good cleaner. The photo shows dirt on a cleaning cloth used with this product. It is from the arms of a recliner that was used for about one year. The look of the leather is much better, more like new. It took some rubbing and several times on the same area until I was happy. The leather is a light blue, so the dirt really showed. But it does a good job.The spray version is a bit awkward. It is simply a sprayed that you screw onto the top of a normal bottle. The proportions are weird. If you hold the bottle, your finger can’t reach the spray level. If you hold the neck, your finges get in the way of spraying. I had to kind of hold it on the slippery contour between the body and the neck. And the spray hand is very small. If buying again, I wouldn’t bother with the sprayer.

Cleaned our leather chair covers great!
I used this to clean our leather seat covers for our kitchen and dining room chairs and it worked well. I used a thin cloth diaper and there were no streaks and dried quickly. No sticky residue afterward either. I was concerned at first that the bottle was small but I cleaned nine chair pads and a bench and used very little of the product. I am going to clean our leather living room furniture next and can’t wait to give everything a deep clean. Today I ordered the honey brand conditioner and will apply that when it gets here tomorrow. It really gave it a fresh clean look. It didn’t leave a shine after it dried … only a clean look and I was okay with that. Just remember a little bit on your soft cloth will go a long way. No need to saturate the leather. Try it … you’ll like it. A little pricey but it was on sale so I ordered it. Remember … you get what you pay for!

It does do it’s job, but…
I ordered this product a couple weeks ago after reading what seemed like hundreds of reviews – both good and bad. I decided to order both the Leather Honey cleaner and conditioner mainly because of the large amount of positive reviews. Now its my turn to review the products.First off, both products arrived over a week before the estimated delivery time. Good job Amazon! Looking at both bottles, they are a simplistic design – almost antique looking, not showy but not bland, i actually quite like the look myself. The instructions are fairly basic, but easy to follow and make perfect sense.Leather Honey cleaner:I bought the 8oz bottle which comes concentrated, so i used a spray bottle and filled it with the recommend amount of water and Leather Honey Cleaner written on the back of the bottle, shook it up and it was ready to go. The bottle states that you put 2 tablespoons of cleaner to one cup of water, i found that i needed to put 3 tablespoons of cleaner to a cup of water because i couldn’t get the cleaner to actually get in the leather and lift the dirt and grim – not until i put in the 3rd tablespoon. I used a brush to clean my leather car seats just because the brush can help get into the leather easier and bring up the dirt and grime. You will need to use a fair bit of elbow-grease for the product to work, but it does work. My leather is 24 years old – not ripping/tearing or anything, but is old, and the cleaner was nice and gentle on the leather, no harsh chemicals are used in the cleaner (as far as i am aware.) But the product does work.Leather Honey Conditioner:Now the conditioner. As the name suggest, it is thick like honey, almost unpleasantly thick. Many people said you don’t need to use gloves when applying the conditioner, but i would recommend using them as the conditioner is thick, it leaves a thin layer over your hands. When washing your hands it takes longer than it should as it is almost like cleaning oil or butter off of your hands, takes a while as the conditioner seems to repel the water. I used a rag to apply the conditioner as it was easier rather than a brush. The conditioner goes on pretty tough, so you will need to use some elbow-grease to spread it evenly over the leather. Some of the lower starred reviews, they stated that light coloured leather (like mine – cream colour) gets stained a darker colour than the original colour, and the company is aware of this too as they state on the back that some leathers may change colour, but over time will return back to the original colour. I didnt have this problem, so i’m not sure about the colour changing. The bottle also states that you leave the conditioner on the seats over night and wipe off the excess the next day, so thats what i did. The excess does wipe of, but it is tough because of the thick consistency. I found that it didn’t leave a sticky feel, and it also leaves a nice shine. I sort of have a love/hate thought on this product because, yes it does condition the seats (made mine nice and soft and almost brought the life back to them) but it is thick and hard to evenly spread across the leather.Final opinion:The leather cleaner is a non harsh chemical product that helps to clean seats, and yes it does clean the seats, but you have to use some elbow grease, and i found i needed to add more concentrated cleaner per cup of water to have the product have some more effect to the leather. Like i said earlier, my car seats are 24 years old, and being sitting in the Australian sun its whole life, they were very dry, so the cleaner helped clean and bring moisture back to the seats. The conditioner, would i use it again, yes, but would i use it on a ferrari… probably not. The thick, almost unpleasant consistency makes it difficult to spread evenly over the seats, but it also does its job, conditions and brings life back to the seats, and thats what a leather conditioner is meant to do.

Magic! Best product I have found yet!
I absolutely love this product! I am a reseller and I come across a ton of really cool items so I knew I was going to need something that could clean up the leather items I was finding the process I use for my non-leather items would not work so I sought out to find something that would work and I found this product. I thought it was a bit expensive but I read the reviews and figured I’d give it a try this is now my second bottle and I’m pretty sure this stuff is magic! You don’t need a lot so a little bit goes a long way. I know that now I’m my second bottle so I believe it will last me a lot longer than my first bottle. I would definitely suggest this to anybody who is trying to clean up one of their leather pieces it works on scratches, dulling of leather, it removes dirt and grime I haven’t come across the product yet that it has not been able to clean up ! I suggest this to all my resale friends!

Great Leather Cleaner
A Good product for Real Genuine leather. Don’t use this on Faux leather it will ruin it. It’s a deep cleaning product that will help restore shine to your leather and remove any soil on it. It will soften your leather items for sure. It also slightly makes the items a bit darker after cleaning but that’s normal after cleaning with a leather cleaner. If you let the item rest it will clear up and look natural again. It’s a thick cleaner not watery. This product is all I’ll buy for helping restore my leather shoes.

Cleans up construction boots
Used this cleaner on my daily work boots (commercial painting) and it cleaned up great! It softened up all the water based latex overspray I had on them which cleaned up easy with a brush but oil, acrylic, and epoxy drips and splatter were still there. Good thing is softened the leather to the point where I could scratch off a good amount with my nail without damaging the boots. Threw them on my boot dryer with no heat and they dried pretty quickly which allowed me to apply the leather honey conditioner they also sell which I also recommend. It’s thick stuff kind of like syrup but It revives dryness helps and add a layer of protection.
