Perfect for my room
The fan is light and powerful. The lighting part of the fan is why I really wanted it. It is bright and that is exactly what i needed for this particular room that for some reason is hard to illuminate. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it.

Motor has a whining nose

Perfect for a small room w/bunk beds
Our spare room has 9ft ceilings, but the room is small so little hands (and heads) could easily reach the blades of the traditional fan that was in the room. We replaced with this and it has been perfect! We did not expect the same amount of air movement but we were surprised to find it felt like it moves even more air than our traditional fan. It was easy to install, the light is very bright. The only thing to keep in mind is if you use the remote only to control the light, when the power goes out, the light will some on even it you have it off on via the remote. We use the switch to control the light and the remote to control the fan.
