Benefits & Use Cases
This 10-inch frying pan is especially well-suited for users who value precision and consistency in their cooking. Its flat base ensures maximum surface contact with stovetops, promoting even heat distribution—a critical advantage when searing steaks, browning chicken, or preparing delicate sauces that require stable temperatures. Many customers appreciate the pan’s responsiveness on gas burners, where quick adjustments to heat levels are easily managed thanks to the direct thermal conductivity of the stainless steel layers.
The size strikes a balance between manageability and capacity—large enough to accommodate multiple ingredients without overcrowding, yet compact enough to store comfortably in standard cabinets. It’s frequently used for one-pan meals, stir-frying vegetables, or creating restaurant-quality sear marks on proteins. The stay-cool handle enhances usability, allowing cooks to maneuver the pan safely even during longer cooking sessions. Whether you’re sautéing, deglazing, or simply reheating leftovers, this pan delivers reliable performance with minimal effort.
Its induction compatibility makes it a smart choice for households investing in modern stovetops, while its broad compatibility means it remains functional even if your appliance setup changes over time. The polished surface not only adds a touch of elegance but also resists staining and simplifies cleanup when maintained properly.
Customer Insights & Considerations
Many buyers highlight the pan’s solid build quality and professional finish, noting that it feels substantial and well-balanced in hand—a testament to its Italian craftsmanship. Users often praise the consistent heating behavior and the absence of hot spots, which contribute to more predictable cooking outcomes. The size is frequently described as ideal for medium-sized meals and everyday tasks, striking a useful middle ground between smaller pans and larger skillets.
However, some customers have shared mixed feedback regarding cleaning and long-term performance. A few users report occasional stickiness when cooking acidic foods (such as tomatoes or vinegar-based sauces) unless preheated properly and used with adequate oil. Others mention that while the pan cleans well under normal conditions, certain residues may require soaking or gentle scrubbing to remove fully. These observations suggest that proper care—using silicone, wooden, or nylon utensils and avoiding abrasive scouring pads—can help preserve the pan’s surface and maintain its non-stick characteristics over time.
Additionally, opinions vary on value relative to price point. While many agree the pan justifies its cost through durability and performance, others note that initial break-in or seasoning practices may influence perceived value. It’s important to follow care guidelines to maximize longevity and functionality.
Care & Maintenance Tips
To ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your Made In 10-Inch Frying Pan:
- Always preheat the pan gradually on low to medium heat before adding oil or food.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., placing a cold pan directly on high heat), which can warp the base.
- Use gentle, non-abrasive sponges for cleaning; avoid steel wool or harsh chemical cleaners.
- For stubborn residue, soak in warm water with mild detergent before wiping.
- Store upright or with a paper towel inserted at the handle to prevent moisture buildup.
- Use only silicone, wood, or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the stainless steel surface.
What’s Included
- One (1) 10-inch 5-ply stainless steel frying pan
- No lid or additional accessories included
This pan is best paired with a compatible lid from the Made In Cookware line for covered cooking methods. While it excels in open-pan applications, pairing it with a lid expands its utility for steaming, braising, or reducing liquids.

Such a beautiful pan!
This is my fourth purchase from this company. The pan is really large and perfect for my needs. I know I can purchase a universal lid for this, but fortunately I had a glass one with a steam-release hole from another set that wasn’t for a frying pan, but fits perfectly. I am not sure why manufacturers do not make a lid for frying pans.Having said that, it’s what I expected so I’m not disappointed. It cooks evenly and quickly and cleans up really fast! The quality is superb. Especially for someone like me who is on a strict budget. I have saved up for each item I’ve bought. And the food tastes great!I treat my products from them really really well because they are so excellent. Especially the price! It is a fair price and the pans are equally as craftsmanlike as more expensive brands. I am glad they were made in Germany; I avoid buying from certain countries.I feel like the equivalent of a child in a toy store! I have longed for a good stainless steel selection and MadeIn provides just that!

Made cooking exciting!!
This is my first stainless pan and I absolutely love it. I made sure to study up on the proper care and use needed for it to perform. I have used it almost every night and it has worked perfectly.I love how well made the pan looks too. I will definitely keep adding made-in products to my collection.I saw someone say the pan is larger than expected. This is definitely true. The sides of the pan roll out more than usual making it take up quite a bit of space. I found it to be a rather functional while cooking so I dont see it as a negative.I havenât gone a hair over medium heat and it has worked perfectly for everything I have cooked. The handle stays cool and the pan seems to have very even heat. All in all Iâm glad I made the jump to stainless with made-in

Excellent Pan
Got this as I was also ordering some Made In pots. This was my first pan to arrive. I have now used it several times and can honestly say I wish I had done this when I first heard of Made In. Spending 25 years in the restaurant industry I can see the real value in the construction of these pans. AllClad was just too darn expensive. What . .$500 for a 2qt pot? Come on! But Made In has it locked in.The pan heats quickly and provides heat evenly from bottom to sides. No more will my sauce bubble on the bottom and burn on the sides. I see the bubbling all the way across the top right to the edges-and no burning! The pans are heavy enough to be indestructible but light enough that I don’t feel like i’m lugging around cast iron. The handles do remain cool. I no longer need hot pads or handle covers like I did with my Wolfgang Puck set. They give good browning of steaks. They clean up nicely.Overall I am more than satisfied with these pans and now have even ordered another size. Like the quality tools in my woodshop, these are the best pans for creating great dishes. And you will see that too.As my REVIEW of the Customer Service and Ordering direct from Made In; I ordered some stuff here on Amazon, some direct from Made IN. Amazon shipped within a day or two. I placed a larger order on the Made In website on January 4, 2023 and am still waiting for a pot to ship (today is 01/19) One pan took over a week to ship, the second took 10 days. Emails and chat messages take 1-2 days for a generic response. Made IN’s customer service and support is awful. There is no one to call and talk to. There has been no answers as to why it has been taking so long.

Sturdy and reliable
I love how easy it is to cook and clean with this cookware when food is cooked with the proper heat. I didn’t know what to expect with metal pans because I’ve only ever used nonstick. I definitely recommend these for anyone looking for metal pans.

Sticks
Was super excited for a healthier choice pan but I now have second thoughts. Pan is super hard to clean and almost everything sticks. Cooks evenly, heats nice, great size. Great quality. Needs tips on how to cook an egg!!!

Very Impressed!
Solid construction and work well. Ordering was easy and arrived quickly in well packaged box. Following the enclosed guidance, the pans provide even heating and are easy to clean afterwards. This is an investment with which we are very happy!

Beautiful Pan!
I absolutely love everything about this pan. The brushed finish is the bomb, and if you cook with it like they say and heat it up first and then add the fat, nothing sticks. I was really impressed and have other stainless cookware, but for the price of this pan it’s totally worth it. I love the handle too, it fits nicer than my 360 pans in my smaller hand. I even went and bought more of their cookware even though I didn’t need it, because it makes me want to cook, LOL!!! They do recommend hand washing for those of you who use the dishwasher. I hand wash most of my cookware anyway, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Love it!

Larger than you might expect
The pan seems well-made and arrived as described. However, I ordered this pan at the same time as I ordered a Kitchen-Aid Nitro Carbon Steel pan. While they are both good quality (seemingly) there is a significant difference in size, despite both being nominally 10″ pans. Compared to the Kitchen Aid, this Made In pan would probably be ranked as a 12″ pan by a casual observer. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I don’t have much call for using 12″ pans. I’m not sure the burner on my glass-top range is large enough to properly heat the size of this pan (the single XL burner on my stove being out of order). Yes, the sides have a significant slope to them which makes it appear larger, but the flat bottom cooking surface is a lot bigger as well.I’m looking forward to using both pans, but the one I’m actually excited about is the Kitchen-Aid Nitro Carbon Steel. Seems like a great pan and a very useful size, the size I was actually expecting from both of these pans.

I got the 8″, 10″, and 12″ pan set. Cooking with them is exactly what you’d expect from good stainless steel. If you’re not familiar with stainless, make sure you do some research before you decide if it’s for you. It’s NOT the same to use as a non-stick pan.As for service, I had an issue with the 12″ on arrival. Went to the Made In website, put in my question and attached a video of the issue. Made In not only responded, but addressed and solved the issue in hours. Not “3-5 business days except for holidays, weekends or days of the week ending in Y” like most companies. SAME DAY. I had tracking information before lunch. My only regret is that I don’t need more for the kitchen. One day….

Responde bien al fuego, se siente lo bien construida y no se le pega nada,la verdad que estoy muy contento, la.unica razón por la que le doy las cinco estrellas es por qué no llego su manual, por lo que da la sensación de que fue abierta.

These pans are virtualy immortal and just work, you can do whatever in/with them go on the hob, in the oven can take high heat, sturdy… just awesome. They are not cheap but are they worthy.

This is supposed to be a premium buy-it-for-life product. It came warped or bowed out so very little of the base of the pan is in touch with the cooker. I thought this would correct over time through thermal expansion but that was not the case. If youâre in the market for a stainless steel pan, go with a firm with more experience and knowledge like all clad.
