Such a great desk for users w back pain!
This Marsail standing desk is great! I wish I had bought it sooner! Such a good buy for $120!I got the 40 x 24″ model, so it’s quite small and fits in a corner, and can be moved very easily if needed. I considered the larger $140 Furmax model for a long while, but am so glad I got this smaller standing desk instead. (I think Marsail also sells a larger desk.)I like the light/white color scheme so that it doesn’t look large and bulky in your room.NOTE – the top desk part comes in 2 rectangular panels so that the box that ships can be smaller and more easily moved. The crack in the middle doesn’t bother me at all (and I did consider drawing on this desk). It’s very sturdy and doesn’t shake on Zoom/video calls. A friend put it together for me and said the process was fairly easy and fast. The 4 auto height-adjusting buttons are amazing and work as advertised. You just hold each of the 4 buttons for the heights you want, for 3 seconds each, then the panel flashes and you know that height is programmed into the button. When the desk moves, it’s practically silent and pretty quick…even quieter than I expected. I don’t even move the stuff on top of the desk when adjusting the height, though I don’t have much.I thought the complementary felt grey pouch for storing things on the side of the desk was a bit cheesy, but I ended up using it anyways! It came with 2 screws and only 1 nut for the pouch (missing 1 nut to secure it), but Amazon made it right. (that was the only teeny thing that went awry w this product)I have chronic back pain — since I got this desk, I haven’t lowered it to sitting height yet! For $120, this purchase was totally worth it (and I’m in a temp space and plan to move it later which was why I delayed this purchase…and it’s still so worth it)!

Adjustable height + sturdy+ good looks = great value
Bought this to replace an old ikea desk from 14 years ago. I need an adjustable desk as Iâve been told to stand more vs sitting for the back. They say sitting is the new smoking.Overall the desk is a good value. It looks nice and is sturdy. My configuration includes #5 27âmonitors- 4 on 2 verticals stands and one using an arm clamped to the desk. No issues with weight as the desk moves seamlessly up and down. The preset height buttons are a nice feature as it allows you to quickly move up or down without thought. The most difficult part was building it. You have to read the instructions vs just slapping it together based on the pictures. Getting the motor mounted was the most challenging part but if you slow down and read the guide it can be done. Just follow the guide exactly. The instructions are actually very good and detailed. The predrilled holes were perfect for my build. All parts were included; even some extra screws as well – nice! You do need a screwdriver and I recommend a battery powered to make the install go faster for you.

Solidly Built and Well Packaged for Shipping
This electric desk was very affordably priced. I was concerned about what I could get for that amount of money and damage that could occur in shipping. I was delighted to see the box was well packed with the contents in perfect condition. The instruction manual was well written and the parts neatly labeled in separate packages.I was also very impressed with the gauge of the steel and the quality of all of the parts. It took about 1.5 hours to put together (by myself). This would have been much faster with a second set of hands. The finished product looks great and works very smoothly. I’ve only had it for a day and time will tell, but all indications are this product will perform well.If I could figure out a use for it, I’d buy another one!

Decent desk for the price, but a bit wobbley in standing mode and the top got nicked in shipping
Not the best standing desk out there, but pretty decent for the price.Pros: Cheap ($145 when I bought it), Nice large size (63×24 inch), quite and smooth motor, good height range.Cons: Wobbles a bit when in standing mode, the top got nicked in shippingOverall I am pretty happy with the desk, despite a few issues. This was my first time trying a standing desk and this desk has sold me on standing desks. At some point I will probably pay a good bit more for a better desk and retire this one to be a work table in the garage. These would be really handy for a number of uses other then a computer desk so I would not mind having several. The desk was not too hard to put together by myself, but it would be easier with 2 people. I saw some of the reviews suggesting that the desk wobbles because people are not tightening the screws enough, that is not the case at least not for my desk. I tightened the screws on the feet to with a bar on the Allen key until the screws crushed the pipe a bit and would turn no farther without stripping the heads or breaking the bolts. It helped a bit but it still wobbles at standing height. It is a very sturdy feeling desk when at seated height, but as it rises up it gets wobbly. Not really in a flimsy way but more like the mechanism is just not machined and fitted together well enough not to wobble when it is extended. That said it is still very usable. It holds up a decent amount of weight, and although I expect that the motor would lift what it advertises I also expect that it would not last long using it close to the weight limit. I estimate that I have around 120 lbs of PC and monitor on my desk and the motor sounds like it is starting to strain a bit, so I would not recommend much more then what I have on it. It does not strain at all without the PC, but it would be a real nightmare to cable manage if the PC was not on the desk. The top is particleboard covered with plastic of course, but it seems decent for a particleboard table top. The fake wood printing is decent looking and the plastic coating seems pretty durable and reasonably waterproof at least to water rings from a cup. I have encountered much worse particleboard before. It comes in 2 pieces and has to be put together with pegs (I added some glue) and screwed together with a couple of brackets. Seems sturdy enough, and should hold up as a computer desk or light work/crafting table well enough and if it ever does get damaged it could be replaced easy enough with a table top or some plywood. The packing around the desk was pretty good, but the box was not sturdy enough so the desk top had bust out of one end of the box. It was not just the tape coming lose the whole end ripped out of the box. Really I am surprised that it was not more damaged then it was, the UPS driver must have tried more then most to keep it from getting damaged, but it still got a small nick on both top halves. (see photos) The box that it came in was not much sturdier then a normal sipping box and was just taped. These really need to be packed in the extra thick boxes that future and appliances usually come in and the ends need to be stapled down.As you might have noticed in the photos I added a couple of modifications to the desk. I did not want my PC taking up space on the desk so I made a floating shelf out of a old shelf board and some steel conduit pipe. I did not want to screw anything directly into the leg as I was afraid that would mess up the mechanism, so I attached it where they saddle bag thing that came with the desk was supposed to be bolted on. Then I fitted the shelf around the leg. Really I am surprised that it worked out so well, I was not at all sure that it would hold up a 60lb desktop PC, but it turned out surprisingly decent (See photos) I also moved the keyboard tray from my old desk to this one, I like having a open desk top for other things. The clamps look a bit out of place, but they really work well to keep the tray from sliding in, lol.
