Key Features
- House-Themed Design with Slide: The distinctive house-style layout includes a pitched roof, detailed wall paneling, and a whimsical window, giving the bunk bed a playful aesthetic that doubles as a fun play area. The integrated slide adds excitement, making transitions between beds enjoyable and helping reduce resistance to going to sleep.
- Safety-First Engineering: Designed with younger users in mind, the lower bunk sits low to the ground for easy access and reduced fall risk. The upper bunk is equipped with full-length guardrails to prevent accidental rolls during sleep, while the built-in 3-step ladder ensures safe, stable entry and exit without wobbling or slipping.
- Durable Solid Construction: Crafted from premium solid pine wood and reinforced with MDF components, this bunk bed is engineered for lasting durability. Both levels feature robust support slats that eliminate the need for box springs or additional foundations, offering reliable mattress support across all configurations.
- Enhanced Comfort & Airflow: The semi-enclosed top bunk creates a personal retreat-like atmosphere that many children find soothing and comforting, potentially improving sleep quality. Despite the enclosed feel, airflow remains sufficient thanks to open sides, ensuring comfort throughout the night without stuffiness.
- Simple Assembly Process: All necessary hardware, tools, and step-by-step instructions are included and shipped in one convenient package. Most customers report that setup takes under an hour with assistance from another person, though some note minor challenges with instruction clarity or component alignment.

Benefits & Use Cases
Perfect for families with two children sharing a room, the Merax House Bunk Bed maximizes limited bedroom space without compromising on style or safety. The low-profile lower bunk makes it especially suitable for younger children or toddlers who may be transitioning out of a crib or small bed, offering both accessibility and peace of mind. The upper bunk’s semi-enclosed design appeals to kids who value privacy and personal space, fostering independence and potentially leading to more restful nights. The included slide not only enhances usability but also turns routine activities like getting up for the bathroom or waking up early into fun moments.
Thanks to its sturdy support system and absence of foundation requirements, this bunk bed accommodates standard twin mattresses up to 6 inches thick without additional purchases. This simplifies setup, reduces clutter, and keeps costs predictable. Families appreciate the efficient use of vertical space, making it ideal for smaller rooms where every square inch counts. Whether used by siblings, guests during sleepovers, or even as a temporary solution until children move into separate rooms, this bunk bed adapts seamlessly to changing needs.
Important Notes
While the majority of buyers find the Merax House Bunk Bed to offer excellent value for money—balancing affordability with attractive design and core functionality—some customers have encountered challenges during assembly. Common feedback includes confusing or poorly illustrated instructions, difficulty aligning parts such as the roof panels, and issues with oversized drill holes that can cause screws to strip or loosen over time. A few users recommend using a power drill with appropriately sized bits to ensure tighter fits and greater stability.
Despite these occasional setbacks, many families still consider the product a worthwhile investment due to its safety features, engaging design, and overall sturdiness once properly assembled. Buyers are advised to read through instructions beforehand, organize all pieces clearly, and keep spare screws handy in case adjustments are needed. With careful attention during installation, this bunk bed can deliver years of joyful use and cherished childhood memories.

Great quality
Instructions are a bit confusing. Built quality is good just go easy if you use power tools or it will strip the pre drilled holes.

So cute, but now very sturdy.
I like the look of the bed my only complaints are it’s not very sturdy and the roof is so hard to put on. I wish it came with pre drilled holes so you knew exactly where to put the roof panels. I added shutters and lanterns to make it look like a cabin.

Sturdy & Adorable!!
We are so happy with this bed! I purchased stickers to add to it.I hired someone to put it together since Iâm gramma & probably couldnât do it myself.Be careful when adding roof tiles. These should have been spaced out more to have ones over hang a bit on ends. See first photo. But other than that (which was fault of assembly) itâs awesome!! My granddaughter is in love with it!Great quality & style.

Missing Instruction Manual
I received my daughters twin bed in two boxes and none of the boxes have the instruction manual nor is it anywhere to be found online. This is completely ridiculous and the customer service sucks 1000% the customer service voice message says theyâre closed due to the pandemic. What pandemic? The bed was too expensive for it not to come with an instruction manual. I expect some type of compensation for my troubles!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Donât order a bed that doesnât have a downloadable instruction manual! and this manufacture is not deserving of any stars but I had to choose one which wasnât by choice!!!

Fun for the kids
Some of the instructions were backwards, but once we figured it out it went right up. It obviously takes a few hours to assemble but worth it! My daughter loves it!

Good for the price
This was our 2 year olds first big boy bed. Itâs cute. Pretty easy to put together, but screws keep falling out less than six months in and have to be glued back in to keep panels on. It will probably only last another year or so. Wouldnât recommend if youâre looking for something to last a long time, but worth the price for what you get.

Poor Quality
So you get what you pay for. Low quality materials. Screws strip easily and several holes were too big for the screws. There was a piece that was damaged as well but still usable. We did assemble it securely with screws we got separately. The slats just laying piece by piece on the floor seems odd too. It will be an okay bed for my 2 year old and will likely last just long enough, a couple of years, before she moves to a bigger bed. But not a long lasting, quality piece by any stretch. Customer service was also not helpful.
