Product Overview

The Milliard 5 in. Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress Twin delivers a thoughtfully designed sleep solution that balances comfort, support, and versatility. With its dual-sided construction—featuring one firm side and one soft side—this mattress allows users to customize their sleeping experience without needing to purchase a new mattress later on. Ideal for growing children, teens, guests, or anyone living in compact spaces, the twin size ensures a proper fit on standard bed frames and foundations. The combination of a supportive foam base and a responsive memory foam top layer creates a balanced feel that conforms gently to the body while maintaining structural integrity over time.

Key Features

  • Dual-Sided Comfort: Flip the mattress to choose between a firmer support surface or a softer, more cushioned feel—perfect for adapting to changing sleep preferences or accommodating different needs within the same household.
  • Memory Foam Layer: The top layer of memory foam molds to your body shape, helping to alleviate pressure points along the shoulders, hips, and spine to promote better alignment and deeper rest.
  • Supportive Base Foam: A high-density foam foundation prevents sagging and provides consistent stability, ensuring the mattress retains its shape and performance even with regular use.
  • Twin Size Design: Compact at 38 inches wide by 75 inches long, this mattress fits seamlessly into kids’ bedrooms, dorm rooms, guest spaces, or studio apartments where space is at a premium.
  • Luxurious Feel: Engineered to offer a plush yet supportive surface, it enhances overall sleep quality by combining contouring comfort with reliable durability.

Benefits & Use Cases

This mattress is crafted for those seeking an affordable yet high-performing sleeping option that doesn’t sacrifice comfort or longevity. Its twin size makes it especially practical for children transitioning from cribs to beds, teenagers setting up their first solo space, or adults furnishing a small apartment or guest room. The dual-sided design adds significant value—ideal for families where sleep preferences may differ (e.g., a parent who prefers firm support and a child who likes something softer). It also serves well as a temporary or secondary bed when hosting overnight visitors, offering a clean, comfortable surface that folds into storage when not in use.

Because memory foam naturally contours to the body, this mattress can help reduce tossing and turning by evenly distributing weight and minimizing pressure build-up. This feature benefits light sleepers who are easily disturbed by movement, as the material absorbs motion rather than transferring it across the surface. While not as thick as full-size mattresses intended for adult use, the 5-inch profile strikes a good balance between support and portability—making it easy to move, rotate, and store if needed.

Important Notes

  • Intended for use on box springs, platform beds, bunkie boards, or standard metal frame foundations. Not suitable for direct placement on waterbeds, air mattresses, or non-supportive surfaces like upholstered furniture without adequate support underneath.
  • Upon unboxing, you may notice a faint odor typical of new polyurethane foam products. This smell typically dissipates within 24–72 hours in a well-ventilated area—opening windows or using fans can speed up the process.
  • Due to its 5-inch thickness, this mattress is best suited for users who don’t require extra height for ease of entry/exit, such as individuals with mobility challenges or those using adjustable bases. It’s less ideal for people accustomed to taller profiles but works well for younger users or short-term setups.
  • For optimal performance and longevity, rotate the mattress every few months to ensure even wear and prevent localized compression.
  • No trial period, return policy, or warranty information is specified in the source material—customers should verify current terms directly with the retailer before purchasing.

Whether you’re outfitting a child’s bedroom, refreshing a college dorm room, or preparing a guest space, the Milliard 5 in. Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress Twin offers a smart blend of flexibility, affordability, and everyday comfort. Its dual-sided design future-proofs your investment by allowing adaptation to evolving sleep habits—all within a compact footprint that fits effortlessly into modern living environments.

    versatile
I like that these mattresses came in a 2-pack because it gives you so many options, and even more with the dual-sided feature. They are easy to stack on one bed but if your kid has a friend spend the night you can pull one off and use it on the floor for an extra bed.

nice upgrade for the trundle bed
We have a (25-year-old) trundle bed in our guest bedroom which had the original mattresses on it, as we don’t use it very often. The mattresses were comfortable enough, but were not very cooling, so I wanted to try these memory foam mattresses as an upgrade. The first thing I noticed is that these 2 mattresses are considerably lighter than the OEM (old-style) mattresses. That is nice, as there are a lot easier to put on and off the bed. Also, these mattresses have a pre-installed zipped on bamboo mattress cover, which really helps in keeping the mattress cool (and eliminates the need to buy a mattress cover). Also, the mattress cover has a tag on the outer edge that shows which side is up (saying “soft” or “firm”). So, you know which side you will be sleeping on before you put the sheets on.When I carefully cut open the bag, the mattress inhaled and started expanding, so I took off the whole bag and let it sit. After 30 minutes, it was relatively expanded, but I gave it overnight to be fully expanded before I tested it. The mattress did expand to the promised 5″ thickness.Pressing down on it with my hand, I can really feel the memory foam, and when I laid on it, it gave a bit like foam does, but not as much as I had expected. I have it on the soft side up, and I expected it to be softer. But, this is memory foam, and they usually soften with use, so we will see. I did sleep on it, and slept well, without issue.I also noticed that the mattress feels very cool compared to the OEM, so it gave a better night’s sleep. At 5″, it is a few inches thinner than the OEM, which is not a big deal (actually is a great thing with a trundle bed, as it allows the under part to better fit under the over part). We usually only have 1 guest at a time, so the lower part may stay stored under the upper for a while.I like this mattress set, as it gave new life to our old trundle bed and the cooling effect really makes the trundle so much better to sleep in.

    2 pack of toppers
2 pack of 5 inch mattress toppers, that are so comfortable and convenient. You can use for twin bed, bunk beds, or just when you have company and need an extra place for someone to sleep.

Great value for kids beds or bunks.
I’m really impressed with these mattresses, first and foremost because I’ve never seen a 2 pack of mattresses. These are of course not very thick as they are mostly meant for bunk beds- however I got these for my 2 boys twin beds. The mattresses look exactly like most bed in a box and seem to be of really nice high quality material- I really don’t feel like these will tear up or flatten any time soon. There is a definite difference in the firm and soft sides, which is super nice you are able to chose which you would like. The mattresses fluffed out in no time and were easy to move to the beds, the come with a cover on them that is unzipped around the corner- my guess would be to allow for optimum fluff out. I do wish they were a little thicker for the sake that we don’t have bunk beds- however I knew what I was getting into when I chose these so that’s not bad on their part. Seem super durable and quality I would highly recommend, especially if you were to get these for a destination bunk.

working great in a loft bed
We recently got a loft bed for my son. He was due for a new mattress, so we opted for this memory foam one from Milliard. Actually, it was a 2-pack, as we decided to have one around in case of friends sleeping over.It comes in a rather compact roll. Once you open the bag, it recovers to its full size in only a few minutes’ time.We chose to have the softer “white” side up and the firmer “grey” side down to start, and that seems to be working out well for him. It fit the loft frame as well as the twin spring mattress. It’s better in that it’s only 5 inches thick, so that gives an extra few inches space with it being on a loft.Sheet sets have fit fine. This works great for us in the loft. I can see it being really handy for covertable sofas. We had to have this mattress on the floor for a few days when clearing out his room for new carpets and he slept fine with it there. So, it will work fine for sleepovers–probably more comfortable than an air mattress. After a month of use, my son is really happy with this mattress in his loft.

    Not bad for the price!!
Got these for my mom who just moved in with us. she says that they are super comfy. she sleeps on the soft side and i have them double stacked. what is nice is that you have the firm side too should you need it. but as of now, i have received no complaints and i take that as a good sign.

    Millard day bed twin mattresses
Too thin, easily felt the support bed slats. Very uncomfortable to use as a couch or bed.
