Whether you’re updating a master suite or furnishing a guest room, this platform bed delivers on both form and function.

Key Features

  • Upholstered Polyester Fabric Base and Headboard in Beige: The soft, neutral beige fabric offers a luxurious feel underfoot and creates a calming backdrop that pairs effortlessly with a wide range of bedding, rugs, and décor styles. Its durable polyester construction resists wear and maintains appearance over time.
  • Sleek Solid Wood Legs: The four sturdy wooden legs provide reliable support while introducing a subtle contrast to the padded upholstery. Their minimalist profile enhances the bed’s modern silhouette and ensures compatibility with most floor types.
  • Integrated Slatted Wood Support System: Eliminating the need for a traditional box spring, the built-in slats deliver consistent mattress support across the entire sleep surface. This not only simplifies setup but also helps preserve mattress integrity by promoting airflow and reducing pressure points.
  • Reinforced Center Beam with Supporting Legs: A heavy-duty center beam, complemented by additional stabilizing legs, significantly increases structural rigidity. This reinforcement improves load distribution and enhances long-term durability, ensuring your bed remains stable even with frequent use.
  • Modern Avant-Garde Design: Characterized by clean geometric shapes and a low-profile frame, the Anya Bed makes a confident statement in contemporary interiors. Its streamlined look draws attention without overwhelming the space, perfect for open-concept rooms or minimalist layouts.

Benefits & Use Cases

The Modway Anya Platform Bed is engineered for modern living, offering a harmonious balance of style, comfort, and convenience. The neutral beige upholstery acts as a versatile canvas, easily integrating with seasonal décor changes or matching existing furniture. Its platform design removes the clutter typically associated with box springs, creating more usable storage space beneath the bed—ideal for storing linens, out-of-season clothing, or small household items.

For renters or homeowners in apartments where structural modifications are limited, this bed provides an excellent solution: it stands firmly on its own, requires no additional foundation, and can be moved relatively easily once assembled. The solid wood slat system supports a wide variety of queen-sized mattresses, including memory foam, hybrid, and latex models, ensuring broad compatibility.

Thanks to its reinforced internal structure, the Anya Bed is built to withstand daily use without sagging or shifting. This makes it suitable not only for primary bedrooms but also for guest rooms or shared spaces where reliability is key. The combination of premium materials and thoughtful design ensures that this bed remains visually appealing and structurally sound for years to come.

Important Notes

Assembly is required upon delivery. All tools, hardware, and step-by-step instructions are included to simplify the process. Care should be taken during assembly to ensure all connections are secure, particularly when attaching the center beam and supporting legs. Once set up, avoid dragging the bed across floors to prevent damage to the legs or upholstery.

This bed is designed specifically for standard queen-sized mattresses measuring 60 inches by 80 inches. No box spring or foundation is needed due to the integrated slat support system. While the headboard is padded for comfort, it is not intended as a surface for placing heavy objects such as books or electronics. For optimal performance and longevity, place a mattress directly on the slats and avoid overloading the frame.

The Anya Platform Bed is best suited for indoor residential use. Exposure to excessive moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures may affect the finish and fabric over time. Regular vacuuming and occasional spot cleaning with mild detergent are recommended to maintain the upholstery’s appearance.

    1000000000/10! LOVE IT
This bed is PERFECT. Not only is it so easy to put together but it is so sturdy. It feels like a very expensive bed frame but at a reasonable price point. I was hesitant to purchase but am so surprised by how great it is. The fabric is very soft and durable. It looks very modern and cozy. I paired it with a 12 in memory foam mattress and it is the perfect height. Would recommend a taller mattress or bed risers if you prefer a taller bed, but this was perfect for me. So so so happy!!

Love the bed!! Easy to put together but took a little while. There is a slight chemical smell to it but nothing too bad. Good value for money

    Worth the purchase
Came very fast but no directions! Have not assembled it yet I will show a picture later if I can figure out how to assemble it.UPDATE: my daughter assembled the first one we got. I helped a little. It was a little tricky but we got it together. She bought it for her full size memory foam mattress. The frame looked so nice and it seemed solid so I decided to buy the same one for myself. This one had some instructions in it thankfully. It was months after we put together my daughter’s. Assembly does take a little while and it is a little tricky. Just be patient, it’s worth the wait. The bed frame is very nice looking and solid. There is no sound getting on/off/moving around the bed. The frame is solid and well build suprisingly.

    LOVE it, gets many compliments
I had this bed a couple of years ago and even my landlord’s wife wanted to know where I got it. It looks expensive. The linen textured fabric is polyester which means it’s easy care, but it’s a high-end look. So in my new place, I bought it again for my guest room. This time I paid attention to the instructions of how to install the slats! Easy! The negative reviews are puzzling: I think either people don’t follow the instructions, like not tightening the screws all the way until you have the pieces together, or the people are too heavy for this bed. (One reviewer complained there were only three legs for the bed. Her photo was the support legs for the center beam! Bed legs are boxed.). I’m 125 pounds. I thought the mattress looked small for the platform like another reviewer, but once I put all the bedding on, it was a perfect fit. I’ll see how it holds up with more weight on it! The wood components are not the highest quality, but it’s a lot of look for the money. I put it together in two hours (with some distractions), only had to correct a couple of minor mistakes! Look at the instructions carefully. Also, with a bed like this, after it’s been used for awhile, it’s always good to go back and check that the screws are nice and tight.

    Bad quality beams
I bought this frame one year and half ago and I am very disappointed with it. The only positive is that it is very cute. However, the quality of the wood used for the slats is terrible. Two of them broke very early on, all of them have splinters and parts of wood peel off easily. The slats are supposed to go inside some plastic things at the sides and central part of the frame during assembly, but because the wood is such a bad quality they get damaged and don’t fit that well, it also looks like some of them are too short. The assembly process is one of the most tedious I’ve ever seen.

Hard to install, and flimsy construction
It will take one person for ever to install, and the quality is bad for what I paid.If you get this for cheap it’s definitely worth it. But be carful not to overpay.Ikea options are better.

It was delivered on schedule in 1 box. The whole bed fit into the head board. It took a couple of hours with both my husband and I working on it. The problem is that you have to use the Alan key provided. If we could have used a power drill it could have been done much faster. I wanted a bed that was lower to the ground for my aging Mother in law.It also makes the room look bigger and less crowded. I am going to add a foam under the mattress to try and eliminate the bowing in the mattress from the wood slates.

The slats are absolutely ridiculous to assemble. One foot broke off of the bed while being moved from one part of the room to another (cheap metal) and two slats fell out, pushing the mattress down with little support. Don’t bother buying this.
