Great for the price and quality
Might need two people for ease of construction. Sturdy. Def need solid surface or mat over carpet to roll easily. My mom has a solid wood, locally made cabinet bed that is amazing, but this is fantastic for the price. Great option for our college student that has moved their regular bed away. It’ll also be great for when they are 100% out and the room is a guest bedroom, and a craft room simultaneously.

A good product with accurate reviews.
I spent a lot of time reading reviews on this product before I went ahead and purchased, and I would say the vast majority are very accurate. The product is made out of particle board and is very heavy. It was delivered to our doorstep.We had to bring it into the house and then unbox it and take it downstairs piece by piece.Inventory all the parts first. We had one board that was cracked during shipment, and it took a little while to figure out that we didn’t want to return the product. We just wanted to communicate with the vendor. Now I realize that this option is right below the product description once you purchase it. The vendor was very easy to work with and responded within 13 hours. Once we sent a picture, they sent the damaged board, and it arrived within a week or ten days.There is a lot of packaging material that needs to be disposed of, and you have to look carefully to make sure you find the instructions.We had two people working on the assembly, and it took roughly 5-6 hours.The product description and instructions are very accurate, and I was impressed with how things line up. It’s not hard to put together, just lots of pieces and time-consuming, and the final product is very nice.We installed it in a workout room on some heavy rubber flooring. The drawers pull out very nicely. I can understand the comments about not installing it on longer carpeting.All in all, we feel good about the purchase, and it will be used a few times during the year. We assume it will be fine.

Not too hard to assemble, looks great, and saves space
This bed comes in two boxes and totals around 140lbs between the two. However, everything is clearly labeled, comes with a complete packing list (with extras of almost every small part, just in case) and has detailed pictorial assembly instructions. The instructions are almost exclusively pictorial, so if you are looking for explanations with the pictures, you are largely out of luck. It took me about 4 hours going step by step to put it together from the time I opened the first box until I laid down on it.I purchased the fold up memory foam mattress to go with this and it all fits together splendidly.So far, based on relative ease of assembly, appearance, and how surprisingly sturdy it is, I have to give it 5 full stars. If I come up with some major deficiency down the road, I will try to come back and edit my review, but for now, looks like a great purchase!

Buy the drill
Ok this thing is beautiful once complete. BUT don’t be fooled, this thing will take 6-7 hours to build with 2 people. The parts and instructions were clear but please dear god buy a drill. A drill would have cut the time in half but we were too far gone and wanted to prove ourselves. It’s quite alarming unboxing everything but once together the piece is very sturdy. We built on carpet and it works fine you just have to pull the drawers gently as you would any piece of furniture. We were dreading the tracks portion of the instructions since that is where most people faced issues but the key was making sure the “balls” in the track were pushed all the way out. Then you slowly push the draws in and youre golden. It looks very classy and we are very happy with the results. Not important but we will be buying baby proofing corners since this Murphy bed has extremely sharp corners when pulled out. This is something to keep in mind if it’s in a tighter space and people have less room to move around.

A must have space saving device!
Phenomenal bed, does NOT come with a mattress but fits a nice tri fold mattress with plenty of room. I use the pull out drawer to store all the bedding. This helps my guest room have so much more space for activity while keeping my guests comfortable when they arrive! It’s an easy one person transition however I would recommend two people to build and because of how many joints there are and the efficiency of the storage it did take about 4 hours to assemble myself, would’ve been quicker with two people.

Decent Murphy bed for a decent price
For the money a decent productTook us about 6 hours to assemble but we have done a lot of assembly this past year so we are pretty competentI thought the directions were clear and conciseAt least on par with ikea directionsThe furniture board was decentWe did take the time to glue everything and I think that will help with durabilityOne board was not drilled but it was an easy fix once we were sure it was a manufacturing issue not our human errorThere were several areas of stress that I initially was worried about but additional brackets were provided that really strengthened those areasI do think that in pulling the bed in and out we will be careful to finesse the bed If pushed or pulled too hard I think you could damage the slides or the pull outsMattress seems decent but no one has slept on it so take that for what it is worthOverall the appearance and finish of the bed was surprisingly goodAgain For the money a great product

Functional and good quality for the price
We have been impressed with this bed! Assembly went well once we figured it out. It appears to be great quality and durable for the price. One recommendation if place on top of carpet is to insert small pieces of tile to gently elevate the front so the drawer is easier to openLesson learned, but still great! I’ve recommended it to friends and family.

We have a very small home with only one bedroom. When the grandkids came to stay they would have to sleep on an air mattress which always ended up deflating sometime in the night. We ordered this bed and a 6” tri-fold mattress for our living room. The bed came a week before it was actually supposed to be delivered which was great. My husband put the bed together in a day but it was definitely a 5 hour job with a little help from me. I am very pleased with this buy. It fits well in the living room and now offers us an additional space for guests to sleep on. We haven’t tried it yet as we just put it together today but I am sure one of the grandkids will request a sleepover now that they have a comfortable bed to sleep in.

Pretty good quality for the money. The assembly process went OK other than the fact that one component was improperly milled. The glides for the pullout sections are exceptionally poor quality. They pretty much self distruct while sliding the sections together. Had to continually put back into place the ball bearings because the metal housing them was very soft . Struggled ,but finally got them to work.
