HANDY AND VERSATILE.
I really like this item, using it nearly every day. It’s Air-Fryer function is something new to me and much appreciated, for such as frozen potato puffs and battered sea food. I have roasted a large squash, beef roast, pork loin, turkey breast, and a whole chicken, all with good results. I particularly like how the unit broils steaks and chops, while containing all the splatter. For this, pre-heating helps. The extender ring makes the unit much more versatile. I like to use aluminum pans and pie plates for drip pans and to adjust height of the grill rack. The good visibility of the process is of primary importance to me. Timer and temperature control seem very accurate. Unit is reasonably easy to keep clean, if done regularly. Concerns: Unit is too tall to slide under the upper cabinets of my kitchen counters. For under-cupboard storage, turn lid/power unit upside down om base. Heater could be hotter to advantage. This is my second Model PKCOV45. The heat unit on the first quit after about 6 months. Company made good on the 15 month warranty, refunding purchase price [ a replacement was not available at the time ]. The unit I am using now is doing fine.

Satisfied with delivery but doesn’t work after first trial.
It came in all pieces and it’s fully functional with all the extra add ons. Will let you know how well it steam broils and bakes cheesecake ð it goes to its highest temp in 2-3 minutes and the fan does its job well enough. Manual was helpful in letting me know how to wash it to get rid of that new smell.Update: it stopped working after that first trial. I don’t know what happened. Power light is on but the rods aren’t heating up and the heat fans won’t turn on.

Handy for leftovers
This countertop air fryer comes in handy for reheating leftovers. Say I buy some cold fried chicken at the store and want to warm it up without making it soggy, this is the appliance I reach for. It warms up instantly so I donât have to spend a long time waiting for an oven to warm up. It also heats things up faster than my old oven too because of the convection. Setting food on the included rack allows air to circulate underneath for even heating. There is plenty of room for lots of things even without the extra height insert. That is something only really needed for cooking large items like a whole chicken or softening a whole squash. It gets hot enough to cook basics Iâve tried in it like chicken and fries. I like that the cooking vessel is glass so Iâm able to monitor without opening it up to peek. It works well and looks nice on my counter. I leave it out all the time because I have been using it daily.

The certainty that the food you’re cooking is well done
I like this glass cooker a lot. I’ve used it so many times from simply heating food when I don’t want to use microwave for heating food to cooking rotisserie chicken or aurfrying my fish sticks or chicken patties. It’s an all around cooker. Very versatile. The size is high enough not to overcrowd the chicken when doing rotisserie. It cooks on both sides. It has a easy to understand switch know for setting the time and temperature a kid can do it. You’re sure enough not to get your chicken burned when you know your only half way done. Very easy to use, ir alerts you when your food is done.Food taste good not burned. Functions are easy to figure out. No noise when cooking., just the timer. Worth the buy.

It is not an air fryer.
The company does not consider it a fryer, but a convection oven with air fryer capabilities. It does not say what air fryer capabilities it has or doesnât have. I wanted an air fryer and didnât see a basket or crisper with the accessories that air fryer used in their recipes. I contacted the company and when I found this info returned the product without trying.
