Our air fryer of choice
I originally bought a larger version of this for my husband for Christmas a few years ago. We absolutely love it! It gets way more use than our oven, easy to take apart for cleaning, and itâs held up to a lot of use so far. When we wanted to get one for our camper, we got this one (same size) and itâs been the perfect size for our RV. Fast forward to this year, and when my daughter wanted an air fryer for her dorm, i bought another. This style may not have as much versatility as the toaster oven-style air fryers but it works well for us and is better on saving counter space. Itâs a little noisy, but I think they all are.

Great air fryer, but the paint will peel
Love this thing. The cook times are very accurate in the preprogrammed buttons. I use it nearly daily and am never disappointed. I do wish the bottom of the bucket would not pee; as quickly as it does. I have had 2 and both had the nonstick coating worn off in a few months.

New approach to preparing food.
Takes a bit of time to understand how to use it. Great for fixing chicken–not so great for preparing hamburgers. How long to set the timer is not always clear. The owner’s manual has 29 pages of recipes to get you started. I suggest getting “America’s Test Kitchen Air Fryer Perfection” cook book with 86 recipes. The French fries were fantastic–even though it takes a bit of time in preparation.

How can this be so inexpensive?
I bought this on a whim after looking for several months at different air fryers. I was knock over by the quality and materials, not to mention the well thought out design. This Nu Wave air fryer is so easy to use and then clean it is just a joy to have around. New Wave is my new favorite kitchen appliance maker. This makes the best french fries and onion rings I have ever had. For the price, it should be in every home.

This is only my second air fryer. The first I bought during the pandemic at TJ Maxx. This air fryer not only cooks better, but cleaning is a breeze. A little dawn, soak two or three minutes, and a soft dish cloth on ocassion, rinse, and you are done. Love it.

Seal breaks
I have had two of these now. I liked the first one but after the seal broke where you slide the fryer pan into the cooker it was useless because without that seal,the machine will not turn on at all. I had to throw it away. I liked the functions on that one and thought it was just a fluke that this happened so I decided to get another one. I have been using the second one for about 4 months now and the same thing happened to this one only worse. I can not even slide the fryer pan/basket into the cooker because plastic pieces just melted out of whack and won’t go back into place. Time to return has expired so into the trash it will go. I will not ever buy another one of these!!!
