Works great out-of-the-box and extremely easy to use!
To replace a basic KitchenAid toaster oven, I searched countless “best of” lists, and store, Amazon and brand websites. My counter space is limited to no larger than 18″ wide, 15″ high and 15″ deep. Even though I have a great stand-alone air fryer, I realized that a new unit would include at least air frying and convection functions. In addition to KitchenAid, I also looked at models made: by Breville, Toshiba, Black & Decker, GE, Cosori, Balmuda, Sharp, Panasonic, Cuisinart, and Hamilton Beach. Most models were too large, and too complicated, while some had too many numerous negative reviews not to be alarmed. Although I wasn’t familiar with NuWave, I found that this Bravo Air Fryer Bravo Pro Oven had a clean chrome look, and all of the features that I wanted, and more, including timing from 1 minute to three hours, auto turn off, and 1800 watts. The toasted bagels and waffles, convection and air frying functions I’ve tried so far have turned out perfectly. I intend to try some of the recipes in the booklet as the food in the photos looks yummy and the recipes easy. This NuWave Bravo Oven offers a lot of value for the money and I will look at purchasing other of their products in the future.

Perfect air fryer toaster oven
I highly recommend this air fryer/toaster oven. It’s smaller size fits perfectly on the counter yet the inner capacity is quite large. It heats up immediately thereby allowing you to cook things much more quickly than a standard oven. The air fryer function worked perfectly. I made 5 breaded chicken cutlets in 15 minutes. They were crunchy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. I reheated pizza in 6 minutes. It has preset menu functions, but I prefer calibrating it myself. For example, you can change how much heat you want on the top or the bottom which is perfect for toasting something like bagels. 70 on top, 30 on bottom so that the cut side gets more browned than the bottom. This is one of the best new appliances I have gotten in a while.

WORKS! Some minor adjustments
Love this, easy to use, however, I did read the instructions through and through, so by the time I was cooking on it, I had a good understanding how to use. I think it’s very easy to use, comes with receipe book, quik start info, nice looking. I would give it a 5 star for cooking, i.e. toast at recommended level #4 is great, does cook fast, I had an old plain toaster oven I used for everything, however, this nuwave cooks much faster, so when I made a cake, I cooked at instructions, at 30 min and cake was overcooked and slightly burnt, so now if INSTRUCTIONS SAY bake at 30, I check it at 20. Still getting use to it. Bought in Oct. 24. Use it almost daily. I would give it a 1 star for airfryer design, poor. The airfryer basket is open and if you spray or put sauce on your food it leaks and gets on the bottom grill and the heat elements. So I now use, aluminum foil or cooking paper, to catch the drippings, I also use aluminum foil on the cooking pan, sauces and food will stick to it, so the foil takes care of the problem. I wish I had known this before. Other then those considerations, it’s great, i.e. reheated pizza (which I NEVER do). Thought I’d try it , and the pizza tasted like it was fresh, I was impressed! Air fryer is inbetween fried and baked. Some things are crispy others not. I cooked chicken thighs with a little soy sauce it was excellent! I am glad I bought this!

Received and set up easily (advised to wash and run on default 350 cycle before use – smell was not bad). After studying about 5 brands/models under $150, this is one I settled on. It met my size limitation and needed features plus I am familiar with NuWave and know it to be high quality in convection cookware. Look forward to using this versatile oven and passing along my seldom used air fryer to someone else and be able to avoid use of big range oven!.

Works well enough, but lacks expected features
After using this unit for a few weeks now, I have serious reservations as to why I bought it over some other competitors or models. Price was not a consideration in my purchase, rather features and convenience. Probably the biggest shortcoming is the control panel which takes getting used to. It defaults to certain features with each setting and pressing the wrong button can lead you down a path you didn’t intend to go. I find it annoying that the fan comes on at maximum speed as a default to just about everything. There is no provision for preheating useful before air frying or baking. In the supplied cookbook it refers to preheating but no way to do it.I do like being able to set top or bottom elements but again, more complication. A simple feature but rarely found is a tang attached to the door, that when it opens the rack slides out a bit making it easier to remove toast etc.Had I not thrown out the shipping box, I would return it as I only need simple functions. I want to make toast or warm up something, not be confronted with a panel worthy of a flight simulator. I’ve sent an e mail to the company regarding the preheat question, but as of yet no reply.My advice for potential buyers is to evaluate your need closely. If all you really need is to toast a bagel, then buy a toaster.
