Oven proven and great value for the price
I bought the set to replace old non-stick pots. The metal performed well with high heat despite being a bit on the thin side. Eggs came out great upon first use. My only warning is to always use enough oil or butter to keep things from burning. I tried heating bagels without any lubrication (oil or butter) and it left some burn marks that didn’t come out on regular washing and scrubbing.I had to use a method my nephew taught me to remove the marks I caused from using high heat on refrigerated bagels without oil. Simply pour some vinegar and a little water in the pot while gradually heating. This gets under the stain and lifts it enough to use a gentle scrub sponge with some salt. Voila, back to new!We used the other pots and pans to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. It was wonderfully successful as well. Finally, I made a small pizza in the oven in my saute pot. Metal handles and even heating made this experiment a success.I looked for a reasonable pot set for myself and found a simple but strong performer. I have only had them for a few weeks and so far its wonderful and useful.

Why canât pans be inexpensive as well as usable and safe?
Even discount products come with some expectation of strength and safety. This is not one of those – straight from the box the handles of the pots and lids are so weak I canât imagine them still being attached in a couple months. Even worse, the risk of getting hurt is high with such weak handles. Look for another inexpensive set if you value your safety

Best set of pans
I needed new pans as the ones I had, had the Teflon coating and I wanted to get away from them. After many searches and reviews I read I settled on these as I was familiar with the brand and they were stainless steel. Some of the reviews did leave me wondering how well they were going to work but after many nights of cooking numerous different foods Iâve not had a problem with them or had any food stick to them. Definitely a good set to have

You need to be careful not to cook food that may stick like rice cuz may stick to the pot and it’s not so easy to clean, but they are good pots

I bought a different cookware set from this brand (Oster Derrick) over a year ago, and I have been very happy with it. This set (Oster Sangerfield) is lightweight and much thinner. It seems to be of much lower quality. I am only keeping it because the package would be too large and heavy for me to return.
