Philips airfryer
Letâs cook lunch for my kids together using the Philips Dual Basket Air Fryer 3000 Series.Boasting a generous 9L capacity! The 6L large drawer is perfect for mains, fries, and more (up to 1.5kg), while the smaller drawer is ideal for sides, veggies, and snacks.I must say that I am very pleased with the air fryer because it has two compartments, allowing you to cook both meat and a side dish simultaneously. This time, I will cook potatoes and chicken. The air fryer has two displays where you can adjust the temperature, time, and select the cooking function. I am very happy to have it because my cooking time is cut in half.

This product is amazing and has two baskets for air frying different things at the same time. The baskets are pretty large, itâs easy to clean. The food that comes out of the air fryer is fast and efficient and tastes great.

Icon mystery tour
The machine has one problem – and for me it’s a return. The icons are not visible – who thought this was a good idea is nuts. A tear off template identified a dozen or more icons ranging from on/off to temp to which basket, and so on – along with presets for various foods. Without the tear off, those all disappear and you (as in me) is left groping around on the black shiny surface to find ANY icon. This must be hilarious back in Phillips land – which I suspect is the UK where electrical systems have never worked – In cars or anything else. How exactly Phillip did you expect these to be used? Clairvoyance. The instruction manual is also an inside joke written by an army private in the brig – provided on tissue paper, falling apart, in faded gray font and the new owner is left having to hunt back and forth in the small pages to discover what the icons mean – but of course that ends when the tear off wads up and it really doesn’t matter. The fryer may work fine, but you will not know. By the way, the call to customer service was a riddle wrapped in a Chinese egg roll. Forget this one.

Minimalist Design with Great Features!
I was in the market for a new air fryer and was considering a dual basket type from a different larger brand, but saw this Philips Dual Basket Air Fryer and was immediately intrigued. The minimalist design and the asymmetrical baskets were what caught my eyes. The dual tone matte finish on the plastic exterior, and the shiny finish for the display on the top makes the overall design so clean and unassuming in the kitchen. I think the small and large sized baskets in one machine gives me more options to choose from when air frying – compared to other air fryers with baskets that are the same size – the different sizes makes it easier to separate larger portions or snack sized items. The shiny display on the top is another unique feature. The touchscreen is what keeps this air fryer minimalist because the buttons show up on the display when powered on. Compared to other air fryers that have physical buttons on the front that look like a mess – I have grown to liking this clean touchscreen display. I haven’t noticed it catch any fingerprint smudges yet, but YMMV.As far as understanding what each symbol on the screen does – please READ the Instruction Manual – because they do provide a list on what the 8 presets at the top mean and how to start using the air fryer. I promise that these symbols will be easy to understand and use!I added an interior photo showing the heating elements and fans – both of the fans have nine blades. Surprisingly, the fan noise is SO QUIET when using the air fryer that I had to double check a few times to see if it was on lol.Another HUGE feature that I like about this air fryer is that it PAUSES when you pull the baskets out! I’ve noticed that another larger brand doesn’t do that with their air fryers, but THIS one does! So I was excited when I found out about that because that’s a good safety feature. What’s great too, is that if you pull the basket out for awhile, this air fryer will start beeping to notify you to put the basket back in or to turn off the machine. Definitely a HUGE PLUS.I have only made a handful of items, fries in the small basket and chicken wings in the larger using the synchronized cooking timer and they both came out crispy. I was able to cook frozen salmon fillets in the larger basket and those came out so good. And I even reheated a croissant in the smaller basket and that came out toasted! The dual baskets use different interior pan designs, but both baskets have this fan like design on the base interior which is likely used to help air flow throughout. The smaller basket has a flat interior pan with holes and four rubber feet to help minimize scratching the interior surface. The larger basket comes with a smaller basket with holes at the bottom with solid walls on the sides and four rubber feet. Both baskets have been easy to clean after using though I would say that the larger basket can be a bit hard to handwash, but I didn’t see any big issues at all.Overall, I think the Philips NA350 Air Fryer looks so cool. The unique and minimalist design makes it stand out. The ease of using the touchscreen display. And the option to use either a small basket for a quick snack or the large basket for a great meal really checks off the list on what I really wanted in an air fryer.

I was very excited to try out the new Philips Dual Basket Air Fryer as the synchronized function and app control was very intriguing. However, after a few weeks of use, there are things that just aren’t working out for me. Let’s start off with the good. The asymmetrical baskets are perfect for if you’re only cooking for yourself or heating up a small amount of food; the synchronized function is great for if you need to cook a lot in the airfryer and doesn’t fit in 1 basket. This airfryer is also whisper quiet when running – its silent compared to my microwave, kettle, or even cooking on the stove. Very impressive! The look is also very sleek and clean, and the touchscreen looks very nice. App control is easy to set up and use the recipes with the air fryer. Cooking is quick but starts slower compared to my old Ninja Foodi but cooks to the same temp/desired doneness in the same amount of time. Now onto the bad. As nice as the touchscreen is, it is taking a long time to get used to it. Its a very symmetrical/mirrored for the dual baskets so I consistently keep pressing the power button or start/pause button by mistake. The icons are also a bit hard to remember what the pre-set is – I would much prefer if it just had words instead of “clean” icons. I also dislike the design of the baskets for cleaning. They are dishwasher safe but there are so many holes for water to get trapped into, it is inevitable each time I take it out of the dishwasher to get water everywhere from the baskets. It also shocked me a few times when I let soapy water soak in the baskets while cleaning up the kitchen that the large basket leaks. Lastly, as much as I like the dual basket, it just takes up a lot of counterspace. Definitely not the best for a condo but would be better in a home situation where you have more counterspace or if you can leave it on an island. I also struggled to get it registered for warranty as this model isn’t officially available on their website yet for registration. Overall, I had high hopes for this air fryer that is $250 but it disappointed me with some of its features.
