Fantastic lockâ¦easy, easy, easy is the word of the day
This lock is great. I really like it, and I feel secure using it â which is to say that it functions exactly as I had hoped and expected it to. The fingerprint reader reads very quickly and hasnât rejected my print once yet. Itâs built pretty sturdy, and I think itâll last a while. It was super simple to install and just as easy to set up. Itâs also easy to use and seems to be easy on batteries. Iâm always hesitant to talk about battery life on something that uses batteries rather than having a battery built in, bc brand and chemical composition will make your mileage vary. But it seems to âsipâ on the batteries, if you will. Thereâs no connectivity of this lock to your smart home, so donât expect Alexa or Google Home to see it or âmake it goâ. I love my Alexa and the myriad of things I connect to her (I love IoT), but I really donât need to verbally tell her to lock or unlock doors. Besides, to me, thatâs a security risk â even in locks with the ability to do this and locks with PIN codes â if someone knows your code, they could just say it loud enough from outside for your smart home device to hear, and open right up, which might get you burglarizedâ¦or worse. Anyhow, itâs a fantastic lock, and it hasnât failed me yet. I give it 5/5 stars.

It’s the best
I’ve had this smart door lock for three months now, and it works flawlessly. It was easy to install, and the app was easy to set up. I really like the auto-lock feature, and the fact that you can lock or unlock the door from anywhere. Also, there’s been no battery drain, even with the Wi-Fi bridge. Great value compared to the biggest name brands. Only “con” is that it may not be as strong against brute force breakins but then again, what will prevent this type of entry.Well worth the money.

Great Lock for the Price
It was easy to install in my existing holes. I like that it talks to you and the fingerprint reader works great. Rarely ever does it not recognize my fingerprint and it’s very fast to respond and unlock the door.

Almost perfect
Itâs elegant, quiet and fast, and the quality lock can be locked and unlocked by a key, code, remote app, and fingerprint. Itâs a name brand even though itâs not known for locks, but no one assumes this is going to be some cheap easy to break lock. The hardware is excellent. Easy to install too. I also love that I can give temporary codes to people who work at the house or guests. I can revoke those codes through the app if I want to. Replaced a 5 year old electronic Schlage lock that was lame and unreliable. The nice animation of electronic lights you see in the product video doesnât exist in real life, itâs disappointing but not a deal breaker. I wouldâve bought it either way, but I am annoyed when something is presented to me thatâs not actually in the product. My main complaint is that sometimes it take me a while for it to get a fingerprint to work and I need to switch finger after finger and reposition. Your finger and the reader must be dry and dry skin will make this harder. This becomes a significant issue when itâs cold. Eventually, it goes into lockdown and you cannot even use the keypad, which is really annoying if you have the right code.Putting this in proportion, fingerprint is by far the easiest way to open this quickly and for the most part it does work well. A tip: donât lock with a fingertip but just wake up the keypad and press the checkmark icon.

Best home security smart lock
This is secure and easy to use. Offers host of features to lock and unlock. Snappy fingerprint recognition. The app is being updated to make it perfect.

So Far, Very Pleased
The lock was easy to install and setup. It provides notifications when the status changes, which is very helpful. It can also be programmed to autolock. It looks very modern on the front of our home. Waiting to see if this device is going to eat batteries. The Kwikset Bluetooth lock we replaced, needed batteries every 3 months, and this is not our primary door.

Really bad app experience!
While the product has a nice design and is very easy to install, I canât recommend it after using it in one of my Airbnbs. The app that allows viewing activity and generates new codes is completely unreliable. Many activities are not logged at all. Additionally, some other features are also not reliable, like the fingerprint sensor, which almost never matches the stored fingerprint. I would not buy it again.

works great again w/ the support provided
Updated: Nov 27 2024contact the support but have not had time to update. Was busy before the holidayI updated to 5 star because the support provided and how everything was handled. It was unfortunate that the original unit was having issue, and the support sent me the replacement. And now everything works properly.I am able setup and have a functional lock again.——————————–bought it around july, was workingtill I have experienced issue and need to reset and start over.it recorded very first activity on Jan17, 2025 after I reset my device on Nov 3rd, 2024.How do I try a device that can’t even get the time correct? Not only that, but I am also unable to configure door sensor as the app will just skip steps automatically and cause it to fail to calibrateAnd when I try to add recurring pin/duration pin code, the app crashes every time I try to modify the time.I guess I got a “DEAD”bolt
