Product Overview
The Queen Over Queen Bunk Bed is a heavy-duty, space-saving furniture solution engineered for shared living environments where comfort, safety, and efficiency matter most. Ideal for families with teenagers, college students in dormitories, or homeowners needing extra guest accommodations, this bunk bed supports two full-sized queen mattresses—each measuring 60 inches by 80 inches—without sacrificing floor space. Constructed from robust metal materials, the frame delivers exceptional durability and structural integrity, ensuring years of reliable use. The design prioritizes user safety through integrated features like a high guardrail and non-slip ladder, while advanced anti-shake technology minimizes noise and movement during sleep. With no box spring required and straightforward assembly using included hardware, this bunk bed offers a practical, modern sleeping arrangement that adapts seamlessly to tight quarters and active lifestyles.
Key Features
- Heavy-Duty Metal Frame: Built with premium-grade steel, the bunk bed’s frame provides unwavering stability and long-term resilience. It supports up to 600 pounds on the lower bunk and 400 pounds on the upper bunk, accommodating both older teens and adults comfortably.
- Space-Optimized Queen-Over-Queen Configuration: This layout efficiently utilizes vertical real estate, allowing two queen-sized mattresses to coexist in a footprint smaller than a standard double bed. Perfect for small bedrooms, studio apartments, or multi-use rooms.
- Integrated Safety Guardrail: A 12-inch-high barrier encircles the upper bunk, significantly reducing the risk of nighttime falls—especially important for restless sleepers or younger users sharing the top level.
- Built-In Non-Slip Ladder: Four securely attached steps provide safe, easy access to the upper bunk without requiring additional furniture. The non-slip surface ensures secure footing even with socks or light shoes.
- Anti-Shake & Noise-Reducing Technology: Each slat in the bed frames incorporates reinforced anti-roll bars and foam padding designed to absorb motion and dampen sound. This innovation creates a quieter, more stable sleeping experience, minimizing disturbances between occupants.
- Tool-Free Assembly with Clear Guidance: All necessary hardware—including washers, screws, and bolts—is included. The package comes with a labeled parts list and step-by-step instruction manual, simplifying setup for most DIYers.

Benefits & Use Cases
This bunk bed excels in scenarios where space conservation and dual occupancy are essential. Families with growing children often find the queen-over-queen design ideal for shared bedrooms, as it accommodates two sleepers without expanding room requirements. College students in dorm-style housing or off-campus rentals benefit from its compact footprint and sturdy construction. Homeowners preparing guest rooms can also repurpose the space for extended visitors or relatives, knowing the frame supports adult use safely and reliably.
The inclusion of a built-in ladder and guardrail eliminates the need to purchase separate accessories, streamlining both cost and convenience. Parents particularly appreciate how these features enhance child safety during overnight stays or sibling sleepovers. Meanwhile, the anti-shake system proves invaluable in shared sleeping arrangements, where one sleeper’s movements might otherwise disrupt their partner. By reducing creaks, rattles, and wobbles, the bed promotes deeper, more restful sleep for all users.
Another major advantage is the elimination of box springs. Traditional bunk beds often require bulky foundation systems that add clutter and complicate cleaning under the bed. This model’s slatted platform supports mattresses directly, offering a cleaner look and easier maintenance. Additionally, the absence of springs reduces overall weight, making the structure lighter and less prone to tipping—even when fully loaded.
Important Notes
- Maximum recommended individual weight is approximately 200 lbs per person; total load should not exceed manufacturer-rated capacities.
- Proper assembly using all provided hardware—especially washers and screws—is critical for maintaining structural integrity and preventing instability over time.
- Foam pads and anti-roll bars may occasionally require readjustment if jostled during use, though they typically maintain effectiveness throughout the product’s lifespan.
- Mattresses must sit flat and flush against the slats. Overhangs, uneven surfaces, or oversized mattresses can compromise support and increase wear.
- Assembly tools are generally not required beyond basic hand-tightening; however, having a Phillips-head screwdriver on hand can help speed up the process.
- Regular inspection of connection points is advised after initial setup and periodically thereafter to ensure continued safety and performance.

Very Nice Looking Bunk Bed
Was looking for a bunk bed for my kid and wanted something sturdy and looked nice. Looked through several listings and narrowed it down to a handful. Picked this bunk bed because I liked the way it looked and allowed for a queen bed. What I liked about this one is:-Has a modern appearance and especially like the black color. I like the “square” tubing appearance.-Super sturdy frame. Obviously made out of metal but I like that it has legs in the middle of the frame to keep it from buckling & helps keep it from being wobbly.-What I really like the most was that it fits over a queen! I like that it fits over a queen so if i have a guest they can sleep on a regular sized queen mattress.-Offers a good amount of storage space under the bed. Has enough storage space to put things like toys and small boxes/totes.-Very easy to read and follow instructions. Only 1 person to assemble and took me about an hour to put together.-The rails for the top bed are thick and solid so they prevent your child from easily falling off the top bed. What I didn’t like about this one is:-Came in 2 boxes and arrived a few days apart (not sure why it couldn’t have been put in 1 big box).-Wish it was packaged a little better & have the pieces wrapped in packaging foam (to prevent it from getting scratched or dented).Overall I am very happy with this bunk bed for the price. It has a modern look/appearance, really good quality and believe it should last for several years. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, space-saving bunk bed! By the way my kid loves it!

Not welded properly arrived out of the box broken
Hello I ordered the queen over queen mattress and the Frame arrive out of the box not welded properly and broken in certain brackets. This is not what I expected in terms of quality eight out of the box and itâs not a shipping issue because the box arrived find itâs the pieces that were not properly welded together. This is a safety issue and makes this not structurally sound. Based on the reviewed I expected better from this product.

Good buy
It shipped in two different boxes on two different days, so that was not fun but I got all my piece and my hubby and I had it together in an evening. It was an easy build, it seems sturdy for the kiddos, and room for storage totes underneath!

Sturdy and fairly easy to put together
My husband set this up pretty much by himself. He used my help only a few times. Instructions were fairly simple. Got for my 8 year old daughter and her younger sister will be moving in soon. It’s very sturdy. I weigh 230 and I was on the top bunk with no worries. I have laid on the bottom bunk and it feels sturdy. You DO feel it wiggle a little if the top person is moving around. I have stubbed my toe a few times on the middle rail so that will take some getting used to or need to pad it.

Great Adult bunk bed
I am a military mom with two adult sons who come home on occasion. I mostly got this set for them. Just had both of them for Christmas and this worked great. Most of the time the top bunk is housed by my cat who naps up there.
