Very nice jars for homemade pain salve
The jars are very well packaged and they are as described. Inside the box is a chalk marker for the labels. They are smart looking and perfect for my CBD Pain slave.

perfect small storage vessels
The Rainforce 8oz jars are perfect storage containers for foods or other items. The word “Mason” in the product name is a bit misleading as it infers using them for canning fruits, preserves, etc. I purchased the set of 30 jars as vessels for homemade spiced pecans, cranberry sauce and other foods as gifts for the holidays–not to be stored for long in a pantry, but to be consumed. I don’t know how air-tight they are, but they do have a small seal embedded in the lids so nuts or spices can probably be stored for a few weeks without getting stale. As for cranberry sauce or other perishable treats, I ask the recipients to store them in the refrigerator. Two thumbs up, also, on the packaging! They arrive in a cardboard box with two 15-jar foam layers with circular wells in which each jar is tightly stuffed. No breakage, plus one can easily imagine other uses for the foam layers-with-wells.

The lids are not well suited for water bath canning. Delivery was quick and on point with no damage. Fair value for the money and we were able to make it work. The included labels and pen were a nice bonus. Just wasnât what we expected. Probably an oversight on our part.

I don’t know what happened. I thought I was buying my usual product. I was expecting a two-piece lid. I didn’t know they had a one-piece until I got ready to make my jelly. I’m worried they aren’t safe, but I didn’t have a choice. They did seal after a water bath, and I will be sure to refrigerate them, but I will have to wait a while until I’m sure they are safe before I order them again.UPDATE: Wow…did they seal! Better than the two piece. I had to run the jar under warm water to get it open. I’d trust these to use for selling my jellies. Much easier to label.
