Important Notes

- Not compatible with certain custom or non-standard bed cover systems; verify fit before purchasing if you have an aftermarket cover.
- Package includes only the SwingCase; mounting hardware is provided, but no additional tools are included unless specified.
- Always check local regulations regarding locked toolboxes on vehicles, especially in commercial settings.
- While designed to resist weather elements, extreme submersion or prolonged exposure to standing water may compromise the seal over time.

Works like a Charm
Saw this item on the Internet while searching for a smaller toolbox. Read the reviews and believed it to be exactly what I needed.Received it shortly after ordering from Amazon. Read the install instructions, basic and easy, and was able to install this box in under 30 minutes. Works exactly as others have said and is perfect for what was needed. Positives and negatives listed below.Positives: Simple. Does not take a lot of room in the bed. Appears to be rugged and water-tight. Easy to install. More inside space than would seem. Lockable.Negatives: You need to supply your own lock to secure the box from being able to be take it off of the pins and taken away. A loop is included for this, but does not come with a lock. This means that instead of one key to lock the top AND to lock the box from being taken from the truck, you will need two. This is a fairly small complaint, but a change in design allowing the top of the box to be locked and the box itself to be locked onto the pins at the same time would seem to be a no brainer for security. Even offering to sell a lock that is keyed the same as the top would be a way for the company to make a little more money on the sale. All in all, if you have a few tools and other items that you like to keep with your truck, but hate to keep stuffed under the seats, this box works very nicely.

Nice and Easy
Quality item that was extremely easy to install. Received the item timely. Adds some great storage space that is easy to get to with the swing out action. Using it for items that are usually thrown in the back of my truck like straps and tow hitches. Really glad I decided to try it.

Nice, well designed little truck box
This thing is pretty cool. And handy. Just keep in mind it doesn’t hold a lot. It doesn’t hold much at all actually. ‘Bare minimum’ is the term you should employ when imagining this box. I managed to fit a socket set, a small tool bag of misc. hand tools, 1 tow strap, 2 cargo straps, jumper cables, gloves, a hand towel and that’s about it. Installation was easier than the YouTube videos make it seem and they look pretty easy. I just had to take a deep breath and swallow hard when I drilled into my brand new truck bed. 4 times. But it came out perfect and I’m no mechanic. The case swings nicely, the latch and locking mechanisms are solid as is the case itself. For plastic. I’m certain a screwdriver and a hard push could jimmy the lock in 2 seconds and pop the door open. So don’t keep valuables in it. But it locks in nice and doesn’t rattle. You can also lift the case off easily which is nice, just be sure to get a lock so no one else can do it. Last night, a group of (suspected) teens broke into 4 cars, stealing whatever they could find at my apartment complex. The key lock cover on my case was up when I got up this morning. I thought that was odd and just flicked it back down. After my neighbor came over and explained the break-ins, I realized they probably tried, quietly, to get into my case but couldn’t, thanks to the lock. Keep it locked! Nice case overall. It’s too bad they don’t make an XL or something. It could be several inches taller and still sit well below the top of the truck bed rail. And a bit thicker plastic would inspire more confidence. Maybe an aluminum model? I would buy that.

Superb Addition to a 2014 Tundra Crewmax or Any Truck!
EXPERIENCE: OK, here is the deal. I ordered both the driver’s side and passenger’s side Swing Cases for my 2014 Tundra. When I received them, I went to inspect the contents and the driver’s side was perfect but the passenger’s side had a cracked lid. I called Amazon and they were wonderful… sent out another immediately. I received it the next day and it was intact and undamaged, however this time, the support bracket attached to the case was mounted upside-down. These are riveted in place and cannot be altered without drilling out the rivets and risk damaging the box. Another call was placed to Amazon, who apologized for the problem and once again sent a replacement… GREAT AMAZON! I received it overnight and the new one that arrived was perfect. Third time’s the charm, I guess.MOUNTING: These boxes are exceptionally easy to install. Instructions are easy to read and follow. Make sure you ‘dry” fit the box and bracket by holding it up to your truck bed where it will be mounted. My recommendation is that you also use a good drill when attaching the screws into your truck bed (torque required). Even though these are self tapping screws, I drilled starter/tap holes to ensure the screws didn’t wander while I was drilling through a thick coating of spray-in Line-X bedliner to get to the truck bed sheet metal. Also, have a good vacuum handy (like a Shop-Vac) to pick up all the metal shavings from drilling. They will be very fine and splinter-sharp so you don’t want these getting stuck in hand, finger, or Heaven-forbid an eye. Installation was a breeze and probably took 10 minutes per case at the very most. I have now loaded both of these cases down with emergency equipment and road-tools, increasing the weight of each case dramatically. They operate as smoothly and as effortlessly as they did unloaded. Highly impressed with how easy these are to unlock, secure, operate and remove.THE BAD: Beyond the two defective one’s I initially received, the only bad thing to me is the Swing Case plastic is THIN. Much thinner than I thought and I’m wondering what kind of abuse these will take over time. I had imagined the plastic being much thicker like that of the Rubbermaid Action Packer or something. They are definitely not. My advise is if you will be hauling something that is heavy and won’t be tied down well, either remove the case(s) temporarily or cushion them from damage with a blanket or something.Kudos to Amazon for great customer service! Regardless of the difficulties mentioned above, I still recommend these cases. I would have given it 5-stars but with the two obvious quality control issues from the manufacturer, I could not. Other than that they are great especially for a guy who likes to keep those emergency/bug-out items handy for the coming Zombie Apocalypse. 🙂

Like it so much considering purchasing another one.
I bought this toolbox for my sons truck. It doesnât take up a lot of space. He said it was easy to install and it seems sturdy. I canât comment on how durable it will be because it was a recent purchase. He said he thought he might buy another one for the other side. So far he is extremely happy with this. I will say this purchase was for a truck he uses for personal use not his work truck. If you need to carry a lot of tools this may not be the right choice for you. But if you have a truck that you just want to carry a few tools and have them organized and not have things you put in the bed rolling around this product just might be what your looking for.

Easy to install works well. Only regret getting one because it fills up fast and it feels small because of so much I have to put in it. Wouldn’t reccomend heavy metal tools like shown in the product pictures. Would have preferred a metal version for the cost.

Canadian Prepper –
Very sturdy and a lot easier to install then I expected. Will definetly be buying another for the other side of the truck!

A very good product overallPros:1. fits perfectly2. 5 min to install3. pretty space-fullCons:1. side locking mechanism provided is a joke, better use a built in metal ring mechanism2. it would be nice to include a “half way open” locking mechanism. My Tundra has a trunk door safety wire-this won’t allow the box to open completely and, if parked not on a flat surface with the nose of the vehicle pointing downhill, it is a pain to use the box

I’ve had mine over a year now and no issues at all. Install took maybe 15 minutes including grabbing all the tools I needed. No damage or water leaks and all my items are nice and secure.
