Quality affordable
I don’t normally write reviews on Amazon items. You get what you pay for. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture. It’s your typical kit style piece. However, it’s higher quality than most. You will spend some time assembling it. My estimate is an hour and hour with a partner, maybe an hour and a half or two hours by yourself. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I would suggest as others have to install the lift top brackets to the base of the unit before attaching the table top, at least for a single person. It really all went together well, with no drama. All holes lined up properly and with plenty of extra parts, a bag full, nice touch. It actually came with a screw driver that you will want to keep in your tool box, also a nice extra touch in my opinion. The table is very sturdy after assembly. It’s actually kind of over engineered for the price point. That’s rare for kit furniture. As far as materials, I would say adequate to above average, especially for the price point. Nothing feels cheap. The finished assembly feels sturdy and robust. I’m not sure if they use an actual wood veneer or a synthetic laminate, but it looks like real wood when assembled, not too shiny like a plastic veneer. It seems to take wood oil nicely. I did assemble the unit with polyurethane glue in all dowel pins. It seems incredibly sturdy. The lift top mechanism works extremely well, and smoothly. The only real cons I can describe are that the drawers and interior bottom panels are “relatively” thin, but this is a minor issue at best. Overall I’m incredibly happy with the purchase and final product. It assembled without drama, seems extremely sturdy, and looks good when completed. What more can you ask for especially considering the price point? Highly recommended. (This is just my opinion btw)

Great coffee table
We love this coffee table! I put it together by myself it was fairly easy has good instructions. The table is sturdy and has storage which was just what I wanted. We always eat dinner on the couch and the pull up table is perfect for that, game nights and homework! Highly recommend for the price.

Great table!
This table is definitely something my husband and I needed. We live in a smaller place and definitely appreciate the storage as well as the functionality. Very easy to assemble. Looks great as well, our only gripe is that you have to be careful lifting the table top because it lifts a bit unevenly and we hope this will not be a problem in the future. Also, this is a smaller issue but the table corner protectors that it comes with, 2 arrived misshapen so they don’t fit the corners and the table edges are very pointy so be careful.Overall though, great purchase.

I helped my mom by redoing her living room while she was in the hospital after a heart attack. She would need adaptive furniture when coming home. Many people donât consider lift top coffee tables, but in a home with an elderly person, it helps them very much. It raises the surface of the coffee table up to a more usable height .Because I am at my momâs house often with my young daughter this lift top coffee tableis also very practical. My daughter stores all of her toys and coloring materials in the drawers below this table and the interior of the coffee table is generously sized for lots of things. I am happy that we bought it. A friend of mine put this together in about two hours, all by herself.I definitely think this was a good purchase.

Love my new table
Love the size, color, screws and hardware are great, height is perfect. I love the top comes toward me so I can use as a writing desk but I have to get up and go around back to use the large space provided. I think the quality is fantastic considering itâs an IKEA type project. Directions were easy and clear. Follow just like they present or you will make a mess of it. Easy to use and clean.

Good, cheaper coffee table
This is a good, more inexpensive option for a coffee table. It has great storage and different color options.It did take me about 3 hours in total to get it fully assembled. It was pretty straightforward, up until installing the lift top. It took me a good 45 mins to figure out how to get it installed correctly, which could be my own fault, but I think the manual could have been a but clearer, especially for someone who has never built a lift top table.At 1st, I thought there was an issue with my hinges. I couldn’t get the top to sit flush with the rest of the table, so I took the whole thing off 3 times to figure it out. I read through reviews that also had issues with the hinges, so I figured maybe I just got sent hydrologic ones instead of spring loaded. I figured I’d try attaching the hinges to the inside of the table 1st and then try attaching the top, and this is when I found out that I was putting the top on backwards which was causing it not to sit flush.I’m not sure if this is the same issue other reviewers are having with their tops not sitting flush, but I docked a star just because I think the manual could have shown not to flip the top around.Other then the long assembly time, everything else is perfect.

I got this more as a base to an existing countertop. It’s very sturdy and assembly was quick and easy. I will note that the pieces all scratch incredibly easy. Good deal for the price though

Ive had this table for almost a year now, so i thought this would make a good review.1) 3 compartments!! They’re all a good size but the 2 drawers are on the smaller size but they have nice rails and they still feel like new.2) using this as a table has been SUPER sturdy, never once have i been afraid of it tipping, i eat on it, use it as a desk, for anything really! you would have to use it get up and put your body weight and even then it doesn’t tip over that easy, never had a close call.3) its built tough!! using this for everything, its taken a beating over the year, spills, not always using coasters, working on it and all and its still in perfect shape4) the sturdiness others complaining about was my first reaction too when i got it. They’re not those super good gas struts, so you do have to hold it with two hands, it does some what feel like its not sturdy lifting it, but I’ve had this thing loaded with stuff and I’ve never once had an issue with lifting it up and down, its not going to fall.5) the reason it didn’t get 5 stars, and personally i was very disappointed by this, I got the Black Table, and on the pictures it looks more like it has a smooth finish to it, but its more of a semi gloss laminate kitchen cabinet type finish. i got passed it and i like it now. but other colours might make it 5 stars !what gave me the idea to write this review is because i came back to see if they were still selling, buying one for Christmas for my mom ( she has one similar and a glass of water almost makes it tip over and she paid the same price in a retail store )

This coffee table is a nice addition to our space. Not only is it a functional work space ( great for working from home or playing that board game with the kids) but it also has so much useful storage too. It was easy to put together and I appreciated the screwdriver that came with it as well as the extra screws etc. Very pleased with our purchase. Looks great in our space too!

Quality of table was surprisingly great; much better quality than a $500 lift-top from leons I went to look at.Pros:-lots of pieces but instructions were good. Took me an hour to assemble as an someone who has built plenty of furniture.-finish on unit was really good and didn’t see any delamination issues at all.-lift-top is sturdy one fully open (also see negative)-looks decently-high quality especially for the price-even came with protective corner pieces if you have small kids-spare screws includedCons-Drawers are slightly crooked without any adjustment possible. Will try to see if I can get slight adjustment by loosening screws.-lift-top is kinda flimsy when opening just from the 2 piece design. Some reviews are making this sound worse than it is though… honestly didn’t care too much about this as it is solid when opened.-really minor as the screws aren’t seen when fully assembled, but the holes aren’t countersunk for the screws so they protrude slightly… doesn’t really matter but just slightly bothered me.All things considered this is a great deal, especially for $200. I am happy with my purchase.
