Brighter colors than in photos, high quality rug
Bought the rug because we wanted traditional colors and style, with a decent pile. What arrived was precisely what we wanted. The colors are bright the cream is cream and not beige, the burgundy is burgundy and not red. The burgundy border with the cream center design makes an already large room look even bigger. The material is good and sturdy, will easily last years before it begins to fall apart.Laying flat: it comes rolled up tightly boung and then pressure wrapped, getting it to lay flat requires stretching carpet and placing books or other heavy flat items on it to get it to stay. Then vacuuming the rug a few times to allow areas that bulge to lay completely flat. This is normal. In our case carpet lays atop uneven Mexican tile (uneven on purpose).The style is traditional, not Persian or Oriental but it has plenty of movement in organic design of flower / leaf pattern.The pile is a decent thickness. Soft to the foot. We have high end wool rugs which were woven by hand and these which are machine woven, on the whole I found this to be a decently priced alternative for rooms with more traffic and overall use.It’s a beautiful piece with good quality control. No smudges etc. I would recommend. Easy to get compliments as the rug is handsome without going overboard.UPS delivers which means they’ll throw it on your doorstep but it comes securely wrapped and sealed. I would recommend laying flat, weighing down corners and center and letting it breath and stretch out between 24-48 hours before vacuuming.Overall purchase: Happy. Would recommend.

Beautiful carpet
Carpet is so beautiful, soft and thickness is great. It made my living room look more elegant. But itâs little small for my room size, so I might return and buy bigger size than this. The size in picture is 4âx6â

Beautiful rug. I was leery of buying sight unseen, but I’m so glad I did. We couldn’t even find a 9′ x 12′ area rug locally, so to find such a lovely rug, and have it home delivered for less than we’d have paid for an 8 x 10′ locally (and wrestled it home in our small car) was a super deal for us!PROS:* Size is huge. Much bigger than we could find locally.* Colors are even nicer in person. The edges are a lovely creamy, camel tan-ish color, and the reds are a lovely dark maroon. No fire engine red in mine. It really pops against our dark wood floors. Just gorgeous!* New car smell was minimal, expected, and dissipated within 48 hours – also as expected.* It came rolled, so we rolled it backwards first, then laid it out. It remained somewhat curled for 24-48 hours, then laid flat.* Feel to the touch is nice. Not the best I’ve ever felt, but I have no complaints. It feels good to walk on, and to wrestle with the kids on.* No shedding that I’ve seen, yet. Been here for about 2 weeks, vacuumed twice, and kids and dogs love it.* Edges were cut straight, fully finished, and corners are at right angles. All perfect to my eye.* Plush/thickness. I have a deep pile, very plush rug from long ago. It’s not quite that thick, but it’s pretty good.* Pattern is pretty, lines are somewhat “pixelated” – as 1 reviewer noted, but no more than any other rug I’ve ever seen. It’s not a TV, it’s a rug.* Despite the plushness, it does not leave vacuum cleaner lines. I hate that, and this does not show it, so I LOVE that!CONS:* It does feel nice on the foot, but our home is on a cement slab, so the floors are murder on your feet, without padding. We did purchase a Felt pad to go under it. That helps with skidding, and protects the floor from the scratchy, rug backing. Worth the investment for comfort, and to protect our wood floors.Seriously, if it weren’t so expensive, I’d order more of the smaller sized rugs. I really love this, and even my hubby, who rarely cares about such things, has commented repeatedly how much it makes the room look so much nicer. He loves it, too. : )I included a shot so you can see ours. Our floors are super dark wood, and the dogs are actually pretty much pure white, so you can tell the colors. “What a nice area rug”
Black and tan colors were perfect. I have burgundy and gold on the walls and was afraid the red and tan color would totally throw everything off. To my delight all the colors blend in perfectly. The tan/beige color can pass for a tint of gold to bring the wall color into the carpet. A nice quality especially for the price, I put the rug upside down with books on the end for a few hours then flipped over, lined it up under the dinning room table, put the four chairs on carpet then I put a few books on the corners over night and the corners are all flat. The black frame of the carpet looks nice with the hardwood floor. So pleased. Would recommend. Size was true to the description. Oct 10, 2024

You Get What You Pay For
Let me preface my review stating that I understood fully what I was ordering and was not expecting a luxurious, thick area rug that I would pass down to my children. However, I also understand that I ordered an 8 foot round rug. EIGHT FOOT. What I received was/is a 7′ 6″ round rug, with a decent defect. Apparently, when the rug was printed, somehow the rug was not trimmed properly, and a 2×2 inch spot was left with the dye not penetrating the rug.(see picture) Luckily with some agitation, it’s not as visible any longer. So my advice to you, when you receive your rug, save yourself the aggravation and open the plastic tube from the end (as if you are pulling out blueprints), and save the plastic tubing. If you need to return the rug, it can ONLY be returned in in the original packaging. (I didn’t learn that until I opened the rug and found the instructions and return rules inside). The phone number I found for Customer Service was bogus. Kudos to Amazon, however, they offered me a discount so I can keep the rug, instead of returning, and live with the defect. Overall, I really like the rug, am happy with the colors and design and am hoping to get a few years out of it.

This carpet is great, for the price and quality, I’m very pleased with my purchase. Perfect size for the living room and the colours look great. Also, it’s much softer than I expected. The tan is not as dark as shown in the picture, which is a big relief. I went ahead and bought it after another reviewer mentioned the same thing.
