Convenience and reliability
I am so very pleased with this purchase! We recently bought a car with phone/truly keyless entry, and now our home has this as our keyless entry. It is SO NICE not to work about keys! I just keep my office keys in my purse and that’s all I have to keep track of. I just wish I had gone keyless sooner!

Reliable, well-built smart deadbolt lock – no complaints after 2 years
This is the third Schlage Encode deadbolt smart lock that I’ve purchased for our home. The other two have worked out so well, it was time to upgrade our remaining old “dumb” deadbolt lock. We’ve been using these Encode smart locks for over two years now and have no complaints. They are reliable and have worked out well. It is really nice not having to worry about house keys anymore. There have also been a few occasions where we needed to let someone into our house when we weren’t home. No problem with the Encode. (We have a Ring doorbell system, so we can see who is at the door). Battery life is very good. For our one door that gets used the most (locked and unlocked via the keypad multiple times each day), the batteries will last well over 6 months. For the other doors that get locked and unlocked less frequently, they last over a year. I have them set to automatically lock every evening, so no more forgetting to lock the door. The keypads have held up very well and don’t show any wear. I have no regrets about buying these Schlage Encode deadbolt smart locks.

Locks work great – cloud access
I have installed these locks at our business, beach house and home – they work great and after the learning curve are easy to install. Would get 5 stars but I have found that when the keypad is exposed to hot Florida sun they seem to start to go bad. But very pleased.

I have had other brand but Schlage is much better. The battery lasts longer. It is very well built. I have long carried a house key since 2015. I just keep installing this lock everywhere I move to.

Easy to install and use
Love, love, love these. No more keys being lost. The installation was easy and set up was simple. One push to lock and a 4 digit number to open. The panel is lit for those dark nights of winter.

Struggled to set up
Difficult to set up with Verizon dual band router. But finally figured it out. It works well and easy to use. Instructions are useless! No response from customer service. Stock up on batteries. It seems to go through them quickly.
