I was really not counting on my ability to install this lock myself, but I did it, and it works perfectly! It matches my existing door knob and it looks great on my newly painted black door!It’s not the heaviest quality lock in the world, but it’s definitely beautiful, solid for the money, easy to install, and the price wasn’t outrageous.Coming from a Walmart product, I wasn’t sure what to expect, and with my abilities with electronics and home improvements I wasn’t sure I’d be able to manage this myself, but the instructions were great. The one place I got stuck, I found a YouTube video from the company which helped me in an instant!I like that it has a key and a keypad so that we don’t always have to use the buttons, and in case the batteries die. Make sure you put alkaline batteries in it, which is what it calls for, because that’s supposed to help them hold up over colder weather months and not drain as quickly as non-alkaline batteries. We’ve used it well over 50 times over a few weeks with regular batteries in fall and hot weather, and it’s working, but I’m switching to alkaline for the winter and long-term.If you need something easy to install and you want it quickly I would go with it.Remember that with these sometimes you have to pull and hold the handle from the outside until the deadbolt locks. I wasn’t surprised, as this is common, even with more expensive ones I’ve used on other homes.

Exactly what I needed!
My husband CONSTANTLY forgets to lock the back door. This lock came to my rescue! It automatically locks itself and is nice to have as a backup route if we get locked out of the house! I have a wifi smart lock for our front door but didnât want to spend the $$$ on another. Such a great price, I recommend it to everyone! Works exactly as it should and is very simple to program. Reemplazamos por uno de Amazon basics que fallo por completo despues de menos de dos años. Este esta hasta mejor que este, ojala que dura mucho tiempo. La opcion de auto-cierre es muy confiable, instalacion sencillo y hasta ahora la programación fue muy fácil. 100% recomendable para cerradura sencilla donde ya no tienes que usar llave pero no quieres conectar via wifi.
