Product Overview
The SHA CERLIN Twin Loft Bunk Bed is a versatile, space-saving solution engineered for bedrooms and dorm rooms where every inch counts. Designed with families in mind—especially those with multiple children or limited square footage—this loft bed elevates sleeping areas while freeing up valuable floor space beneath for study, play, or storage. Crafted from durable metal slats and accented with wooden panels, it features a striking black finish with a wormhole-patterned texture that brings an industrial-chic aesthetic to any room. The twin-over-twin configuration supports two sleepers comfortably, each layer capable of bearing up to 400 pounds thanks to a reinforced frame and 14-inch-thick guardrails on all four sides. With no box spring needed and a built-in ladder for safe access, this bunk bed combines functionality, safety, and style in one practical package.
Key Features
- Easy Access to Upper Bed: The externally mounted ladder is thoughtfully angled for natural climbing motion, making it intuitive and secure for kids and teens. Rounded handrail edges prevent foot injuries during ascent or descent, adding both comfort and safety.
- Extra Storage Space: Four generously sized drawers are integrated into the base structure, offering convenient storage for clothing, bedding, school supplies, or seasonal items—perfect for keeping small spaces tidy without extra furniture.
- Stable Design: Engineered with a robust metal frame and 20 support slats distributed across each level, the bed ensures maximum stability. Each side features a full 14-inch-high iron guardrail, fully enclosing the top bunk to prevent accidental falls. The combined strength allows each level to safely support up to 400 pounds—roughly equivalent to four average 15-year-old children.
- Noise-Free Operation: Precision-engineered joints and tight-fitting slat connections minimize creaking and shifting, ensuring undisturbed sleep even if movement occurs during the night.
- Protective Guardrails: Every corner of the upper bunk is shielded by thick, solid iron rails, creating a secure perimeter ideal for active sleepers, younger users, or shared rooms where safety is a priority.
- Thoughtful Space-Saving Layout: With 10.6 inches of vertical clearance underneath the loft bed, the lower area becomes a functional zone—perfect for placing a desk, reading nook, toy organizer, or seating. This transforms compact rooms into multifunctional spaces without sacrificing comfort or style.

Benefits & Use Cases
Ideal for small bedrooms, shared kid’s rooms, college dormitories, studio apartments, or any compact living environment, the SHA CERLIN Twin Loft Bunk Bed maximizes utility without compromising on design. By raising sleeping platforms off the ground, it creates dedicated zones within a single room—making it possible to host overnight guests, support sibling sleepovers, or simply reclaim floor space for daily activities. The rustic-industrial look, blending metal and wood textures, complements modern, contemporary, urban, or minimalist decor styles, allowing seamless integration into diverse interior themes.
Families with two children will find this setup particularly valuable, as both levels offer ample personal space while encouraging independent sleep routines. The inclusion of built-in drawers eliminates the need for separate dressers, streamlining organization in tight quarters. Teens and young adults appreciate the elevated platform for added privacy and the convenience of having a cozy retreat above the main living area.
Beyond practicality, the loft bed fosters a playful atmosphere. Its compact silhouette and bold design invite creativity—under-bed areas become mini studios, game corners, or quiet homework stations. For parents, the safety-focused construction provides peace of mind, especially when kids share a room or enjoy late-night reading sessions.
Important Notes
Assembly is straightforward and comes complete with all necessary hardware, tools, and detailed instructions. Users should carefully follow the provided guide to ensure proper alignment and tightening of bolts, which is essential for long-term structural integrity and safety. While the metal slat system negates the need for a box spring, we recommend using standard twin-sized mattresses (typically 38” x 75”) for optimal support and fit.
This product does not include mattresses, bedding, or drawer contents. To maintain performance over time, periodically check all connection points and tighten any loosened screws or bolts after initial assembly and periodically thereafter—particularly if the bed experiences frequent use or if children climb or jump near the structure.

So Easy to Build!!
I purchased the full in bottom, twin on top bunk and put it together myself (single mom, not handy lol) with my kidsâ help. It was so easy to put together. The only hard part was the snappy bits that hold the slats that support the mattresses. We wore gloves but it was pretty difficult to get them to snap in place. But the bunk is terrific, sturdy, and looks nice! My kids love it.

Solid, fairly easy to assemble, and very affordable
First, I have to say, I put this together entirely by myself. It was a little challenging, but then I like a challenge. You do have to follow the instructions very carefully. Layout all the pieces and review the instructions from start to finish before you begin. If youâre one of those people who canât follow a recipe, this might not be for you. Everybodyâs got a skill, stick to yours. ðThe bed is very sturdy. All the parts were included. The ladder is nice and stable. I specifically picked a bed with space under the bottom bunk, but that also wasnât too tall so I could change the sheets on the top bunk without too much of a struggle. This bed meets all my requirements.

Super easy to put together
Perfect bunk bed for kids. Easy and simple to put together; single mom here and got it all together by myself. There is enough space on both top and bottom for sitting up with out fear of heads hitting the ceiling or other bed. The ladder is the perfect angle and spacing between climbs. Bought for my 6 year old twins.

sturdy and quiet
The tools could have been a bit longer, hands got sore putting together, besides that this seems like a sturdy, quiet bed. With all 4 sides on top it is the safest even for our 4 year old. Helped us make extra space for a spare bed. Very few scratches but I think that’s due to myself. Good buy for price!

Wiggle Wiggle
The bunk bed was very easy to put together. The instructions were very clear. But even with everything tightened down the beds wiggles a ton. We disassembled and re-assembled just incase something went wrong. But it just doesn’t stand solid. It wiggles. But with not very much weight going on it we stabilized it as best we could. The box was destroyed by FedEx. I watched the guy drag it up our driveway scraping the metal bed along the cement. It was bent when I get home but thankfully my husband works with medal and was able to straighten it. Customer service was HORRIBLE when I called about the issue.
