Disappointed With The Black Color Interior
The price and name– Sharp Carousel attracted me to this microwave oven.I like the interior of microwave ovens that are white, not black like this one. The black interior color makes it difficult to see inside. The turn-table does not fit snugly into the glass plate inside and the plate slips off easily. That makes this oven poorly designed and built. The door is opened by pushing a big button- like latch that opens the oven door, but I have to hold the oven with my other hand when I push that button or the whole oven slides and moves from the pressure of pushing that button. That is ridiculous. But since this thing was $84. plus tax, I am stuck with it. I heated a mug of water for 3 minutesthen put in my usual amount of cappuccino powder, mixed it with a spoon, went to drink it and it still was not hot enough to suit me. I guess I don’t like this microwave but I have to keep the thing!

The dinner plate barely fits inside. The 10 inch carousel turntable keeps coming off the ring while I am heating up items. This is a big disappointment. I gave away my older Sharp Microwave because it took up too much space. This is much too small to fit a standard dinner plate. I would like to return it but I threw away the box.

This is an excellent microwave oven from Sharp, a well known, long established and reputable brand. Itâs well made, works great, the design is very much in my taste and the price I paid is less than for other, well known brands. I highly recommend.
