really better than expected for price
Nice looking, great fit for a corner versus lamps with round bases. There’s a small pull chain for on-off.Shelves are sturdy enough for wandering cats. Shade with a 2700K bulk makes for warm lighting (use a 3000K bulb if you want it just a little whiter-brighter). But it’s somewhat fiddly to assemble.The design isn’t quite as good as a similar lamp I also bought from the local Big Box store, but the build quality is similar and this lamp is *much* cheaper. Notably, I think the shade part of this lamp is much better than the expensive Big Box version.Addressing other reviewers complaints: Assembly is actually easy, but you need a little bit of open space to work on it, and it takes about 30 mins longer than expected.It’s not a super sturdy shelving unit, which is fine because it’s a lamp, not a shelf. I treat the shelves as more of a design thing than a functional thing. Don’t put anything breakable on them if the lamp is somewhere it could be bumped.And then my complaints: The cord clips provided aren’t very elegant. The vertical pieces don’t line up perfectly, but you’d have to look very closely to see that. The verticals can also get fiddled out of alignment if you have a bored child in the house or if you move the lamp around.Overall, if you’re handy or don’t mind a fiddly setup, the resulting lamp is quite decent, quite compact, and a good value. I’d buy it again.

Easy to assemble. Seems sturdy. Light works great! Worked perfectly for my daughterâs room. The fabric that covers the light did start to come unglued a little on a seam when trying to unfold it to put it in place, but wasnât a big issue. Fixed itself once placed but I could have easily applied some more glue too.

The lamp looks great, and i was able to plug it into a smart switch so i could turn it on and off with alexa. The build quality isnt that great, the wood seems lighter and cheaper then the quality of your average IKEA furniture, and two of the rods almost didnt screw in properly, but i was able to get it to work after a little bit of playing around. Fully assembled the lamp is extremely light, much lighter then it looks, like crazy light, but stable enough to where i dont think it would fall over all that easily. Putting it together makes it feel pretty sturdy, i would have more worries about the wood actually breaking, then for it to fall apart, but that would only happen if it get knocked over or someone fell onto it or something. I put some heavy books at the bottom to give it some more bottom weight to further prevent it from ever falling over, but overall, its a great lamp, it looks very stylish, like something you would get from barns and noble, the shelves are strong enough for you to put some random decorations or whatever you need to on, and i would definitely recommend it. just dont expect it to be heavy solid, barns and noble quality wood. Assembly is a complete breeze, you will only need a phillips screw driver for the 4 screws at the top and the base, the rest of the screws are double sided, so you just put one end in one pillar and one end into the next pillar and twist it around until it is tight, and violla

Cons:Like some reviews say the quality is a little on a lower end and it is a little bent once made and my lamp cover came dirty with brown spots on it but once the light is on you don’t really notice it. It doesn’t come with instructions but it does and a little diagram and it’s not like an Ikea product. This was pretty straightforward. Just lay out the pieces and screws and you can tell what to do with the pieces. Example, there are only 4 shorter wood pieces from the bunch so those are gonna be for the top where the light is.Pros:It’s nice and tall, I’m 5’1 and it’s taller than me. Works really well for its price. I’ve bought $200 lights that broke after 6 months. It’s bright and you can use smart bulbs to make it fancy by changing the colors. It’s nice and slim but still allows you to put stuff on it and pretty sturdy for what it is. I hid my Echo pop inside where the bulb is and now the light plays music from it.

Ok so I know some of these reviews are hating on this lamp… saying it’s unevenly painted and made of cheap wood, etc. But like, ok, it’s a friggen $60 floor lamp, like what do you expect??Once you get past the expectation that this lamp is not going to be some high luxury centrepiece to your room, it’s actually quite a nice lamp.Yes the wood feels pretty cheap, some of the screw holes are uneven and misaligned, and my set was missing a few pieces (the zip ties to tie the cord to the struts, so not important) BUT I once put all together, it actually looked really cute and exactly how I pictured it looking in my house.I probably wouldn’t keep this lamp front and centre but for what’s it’s meant to do and how cheap it is, I couldn’t be happier!The uneven screw holes aren’t really an issue when you put it all together because the wood shelves sort of pull it all together. You just have to tighten the vertical struts tight so they kind of pull into position.You can see by the pictures that it looks pretty darn good, especially in a space I planned out for it.I dare say this might be best floor lamp you ever buy for $60. Great for storing cute items on the shelves, easy to put together, and gives off very nice light when you use the bulb they recommend.I could knock of a star for how cheaply made it is but I don’t think it was ever intended to NOT be cheap. Let me start by saying, the print size of the instructions that come with this lamp are so small, that you need a microscope to be able to read them, and are written very poorly. The materials used for this lamp are very cheap, and the paint job on the pieces of wood looks like they were done by a child. Assembly of the lamp isn’t that difficult if you use some common sense and lay out all the pieces that you are going to use. Assembly time in my case took about fifteen minutes. I was surprised surprise to see that once put all together, it actually looked quite nice. Yes the shelves are kind of small but it serves it’s purpose. I may even say at this price point it may be the best floor lamp you can find. Decorate the shelves with small items, and the lamp shade at the top gives off very soft light. One star off for poor instructions.
