High quality and looks great, strong hardware. I would buy it again if I needed another barn door hardware set. The pictured set is from the 10ft track set I bought.

quality hardware and ease of installation
Bought a 10 ft rail for a pair of double doors 24″ each. Had a little extra length that i didn’t want that i easily cut off with a Rigid brand stainless steel pipe cutter. There are no pre-drilled holes in the tubing allowing you to put the brackets where ever you wish on the wall and the end caps easily twist out of the end of the tubing in case you cut the tubing and have to relocate the end caps. The stainless steel screws for the brackets and door roller hardware need a # 3 Philips screw bit and i suggest a 6 inch # 3 Philips bit be used to screw the door rollers to the top of the door to avoid your drill head and the screw being forced sideways by hitting the door roller itself. Plenty of plastic filler washers for behind the brackets in case of any minor dips in your wall. Did not use the floor bracket that came with it due to concrete floors but used the Smart Standard wall bracket guide. Overall very happy with the quality of the hardware and its operation and installation instructions

Gorgeous and solid
we love this solution! Our master bedroom has a closet door and a bathroom door on the same wall, and the standard doors ended up impacting the usefulness of both rooms by blocking cabinets, drawers, etc. This 10ft double door solution allows us to have doors on both without losing any space at all, which I love. It’s gorgous hardware with a beautiful finish, and supported two relatively heavy slab doors without issue. The doors move smoothly and nearly silently, so it’s a perfect bedroom solution. The solution actually isn’t that hard to install, but it really takes two people to do it due to the weight of the doors. The bar itself isn’t bad, though, since it comes in two pieces.Unfortunately, the instructions are terrible and there aren’t better, clearer ones available on line. The booklet referred to parts and features that didn’t exist (like pre drilled holes on the bar, for example), and didn’t included information that would have helped a lot, like drill bit sizes, the lengths of screws so that you could tell which you were supposed to use where, etc. You can figure it out, but it will slow you down and make it harder than it has to be.

Good design but poor quality control
We really like the design. It’s harder to put up than the flat bar version since you have 8 independent hangers on the 10ft so it takes more effort to get those level vs a single flat bar. Instructions are lacking with a very small font. They are semi generic so they reference things that don’t apply like the rail being pre-drilled (it has supports that the rail sits on with the rail being a smooth undrilled pipe). Omits the fact that there is a removable retention stud located on each hanger wheel assembly to prevent the door from jumping off the rail. If you follow step 8 as written you would never be able to hang the door. Easy to figure out but it should be referenced. Sent request asking for a replacement rail. Smart Standard responded within a day about the quality suggesting I return the kit to Amazon and also requesting pictures of the issue. Quality of manufacturing varied. The wheels are the best as far as finish but they are off some with respect to being perpendicular to the base where it mounts to the door and you can only do minimal shimming without getting the distance to rail off. Hope this doesn’t turn into an issue when I install this weekend. One rail was almost perfect with minimal pitting but the second had machine marks all over it, more pitting, and a deep scratch at the end. The wall spacers/hangers were the worst but since they aren’t as visible as the other pieces figure this was a cost cutting issue. I am glad I examined the hardware on arrival so the return window was open. Amazon worked with me on the problem and it was resolved to my satisfaction. Have multiple locations to do so using the kit for an area that didn’t need the full length so cutting off a large portion of the damaged area and trying to polishing out the rest of the issues. Hope this helps.

Well engineered
Had to adjust the rollers on top of the doors to keep them from hitting the support brackets for the rod. After that easy fix, no issues. My only complaint is that when looking at the listing to purchase, a different guaranteed delivery date was listed. After ordering it was pushed back by a day. When doubling checking against the item listing, the earlier date was still shown.
