Tip: Make sure the spacers are not on backwards. There is a larger end and a smaller end. The larger end goes against the wall or header board, NOT against the track.

We marked where the stud were first, used 3″ screws, and once leveled just installed the board.

Great Hardware
I bought these to use for a basement that I wanted to add a little style too.The hardware is well constructed and instructions are included. I would definitely recommend reviewing them before you attempt this install.- Pros:- Relatively inexpensive as far as hardware goes- Solid Construction- Instructions included- BeefyCons:- Time consumingThe rail comes in 4 pieces so you can really use this hardware for any size up to the maximum. Which is what I did.The instructions walk you step by step though the installation process fairly well. It took me a couple of hours to install the hardware and hang the door as I made the door myself and ran into a few issues due to the location of where I wanted to hang the door. I have enough hardware to hang another door as this was for two doors. But I needed the longer rail for this job so I opted for this set. Very pleased with the hardware and the construction and style of the hardware. Appears to be top notch and very well made for the price.Also be sure that you lay your job out before hand so you know what you want to do. I ran into a few issues because I changed mid install and cost me time and one of the rails. Measure twice … cut once as the saying goes.

The overall product worked great. The hanging bar and related hardware worked. The instructions neglected to show installing the stop ends for the closed position so I had to disassemble the middle bracket on the wall and then install the stops then reconnect. The instructions show the end connections but does not mention the inside stop connection which should be done in the very first step before connecting the middle steel guide together.The guide parts for the bottom of the door were useless as they are not adjustable or high enough if you have the door 1/2′ off the floor as it really should be. I just purchased another set of guides to handle this.
