Does a most adequate job
I have three. Not overly powerful but casts an arc of about 15′ of light, dusk to dawn, which is comforting when the power goes. One over a year old, one 6 months and last one is new. Working well within expectations and an easy install. I’d recommend.

Wish they were brighter
Very easy to install despite minimal instructions. They were installed on our 16.5′ kennel runs and they do help seeing to clean up the dogs “gifts” I just wish they were a little brighter. I am not sure on the battery life yet since it’s only been 2 days since installation.

Works as described
I tried to use it for landscape lighting. It’s great up to about 15′ vertically so its perfect to light up medium trees, it’s also a fairly wide light pattern. My 2 trees that need a light are 40 – 50′. I put this fixture on some Areca palms & it’s a keeper. Material seems sturdy, battery seems good, small profile is nice.

Great Lights! RECOMMEND! (I donât use the motion detection)
This stays lit all night even when set to constant on at 100% light output. I am using this as lans aping light to up-light a tree so I cannot speak to the motion detection performance. I have the light set to being on all the time at full power. Side by side comparison to other brands and this way outperforms the others, even others with similar size solar panel. I have the solar panel in full sun nearly all day. The panel is big and there is a nice long cord so you can get the solar panel into best position for maximum sun exposure. The color of the light output is a bright bluish white which is not ideal for my landscaping light use, but Iâm going to experiment with a pinkish theater light-gel to warm up the color output. There is noticeable dimming of light output but only after itâs been on five or more hours and even then it is still bright. Since I donât use for motion, I cannot review how well the motion detection works but for light power output and for how it stays lit all night I highly recommend this light.

not a good choice
this light charged the first day. In the following days it became dimmer and dimmer even though It was in full sunlight…i threw it away after about 10 days as it did not light at all

A useful product
Readers; Only a partial review is possible now. The reason being this item is going to be installed in a plaster decorative column with a glass ‘witch’s ball’ upon it. Once installed at the end of a walkway to the house, it will serve as a ‘lighthouse’ to guide my [and other] cars into the driveway parking location. And it will serve as a Guidepost when I have to shovel the pathway and have to FIND it under the snow. But for the here and now, it has been tested to see it working, and the light output is very bright. So plus & plus there. The unit seems robust and the wiring is of a gauge that is not ‘like sewing thread’. So, come summer, I will get all the parts assembled, and finish the review.

I found the light wads not quite as bright as I had hope but that’s my problem. However rthe cable could do with an extra 2 metres to suit more applications.
