Super water resistant and easy to clean
We have this to put under the highchair when my kid eats. It is large enough that if she drops food it will be on the mat. Weâve spilled milk on it and it was so easy to wipe up. We use this mat three times a day. It is so easy to clean in the washer or even spot clean, it comes out looking brand new every time itâs run through the washer. I do recommend air drying it and it dries quick. I love that there are different patterns you can order itâs not a bad idea to order two so one is ready while the other one is being cleaned , very easy to fold up and store away when not in use would be great for travel as well. It also has anti-slip on the bottom which is great and we can use this in the future for art.

Large mat
Mat is very large and the bottom sticks to our hard wood floor pretty securely. Very happy with the product.1 year update: One year later, with many spills and washes, this mat is still going strong without any tears or rips. I use this a lot for when we travel so our little one (LO) doesnât touch the dirty floors. We use it at home a lot too when our LO is doing a messy sensory play or making a mess while eating. Having the mat down catches all the spills and makes clean up faster which is huge with a baby. Iâve even used this mat like a blanket on the grass for when we go outside. Itâs always in our diaper bag when we leave the house. I donât know if itâs technically essential but itâs saved me a lot of headaches with mess and cleaning so I can have more time with our baby. I still highly recommend this product! It has held up impressively and serves many functions for us.

An amazing product!
We bought this mat to put under our son’s highchair. It is a great size to catch common spills. It is so easy to clean. You can easily wipe off liquid spills as the top coat is water resistant. It does soak in some, but I have noticed the liquid bead up as well. You can also machine wash this which I do every few of days or if there is a big or sticky mess. The pattern is vibrant and doesn’t seem to wear off with washing. The pattern also hides messes fairly well so if it were to get stained I don’t think it would be awful. Once my son is out of a highchair, I plan to use this as a floor mat for kids art projects. The bottom side of the mat is non-slip which works pretty well. My son likes to push his highchair around and the mat generally stays in place until he decides to move it.

This splat floor mat is great for under the highchair. But not over a rug. It is extra work to clean. I personally don’t like it. It didn’t lay flat upon my rug, but was great over just tile. It does catch everything and didn’t absorb liquids, which made for an easy wipe up. It’s really just another item to have to clean. You either vacuum the chunks of food off of it or carefully pick it up to shake outside. Size is great. I am not satisfied with it because it makes for extra to have to clean up. But that’s just my opinion. I would definitely recommend it for those who have messy children when eating and use it at other people’s homes. I would all say it would be great for kids to use to sit and eat on the floor with or at a park or something. It’s also machine washable which is definitely a great thing. Held up well in washer and dryer.
