Ordered/Received this 100% Coco Coir Doormat 30″ x 17″ – w/Plaid Blue/White Material Rug 43″x 28″ for our home and at our garage/carport entrance. I was recently pressure washing outside of our home, window cleaning, and pressure washing our old door mat rug at garage entrance, as it was loaded with dirt, mud, and winter debris from the wet and muddy lawn areas. While cleaning it good with pressure washer, and picking it up to hang up to dry out, it fell apart. So it threw it in the trash as it was several years old and lots of use. Recently while shopping online for some house cleaning supplies, I saw this nice thick mat rug with “Welcome” inscribed on it, along with a pretty blue & white plaid material rug. After reading about how they were made and saw that the welcome rug is made from 100% coir coco and thick (for dirt & muddy feet), and a nice size for our carport door entrance – 30″ x 17″ and the blue/white plaid is 43″ x 28″, I ordered them. Both are very nice and well made/designed rugs. The coco material one is great for our outside entrance. It has coco thick bristle like material that certainly removes most any type dirt from anyone’s shoes or boots. I like the good thick rubber back material and it is also heavy enough that the wind won’t blow it away.It actually stays put well on our marble carport floor as it’s rubber bottom base material. Wife loves the blue and white cotton plaid rug. We put it just inside our home at same door entrance. We both like the colors as it reminds us of spring and Easter time, very near. The good coco rug removes the heavier dirt/mud, and when stepping inside our home, the plaid one is nice and removes any light dirt left and/or any wetness left on shoes. I didn’t realize just how bad of condition our old mat was until we put these new ones down. Makes our home and entrance look lots better and we both love the “Welcome sign” on the outside rug. Honestly, I love this thing. A few years back, I bought a similar setup for Halloween, but that only worked for fall. This one is perfect for spring and looks great sitting outside the front door.The mat is thick and feels high quality, and the size is just rightâbig enough to cover the entrance but not so huge that it looks like a full-on rug. Itâs an accent piece, not the main attraction, and at 28×43, it fits the space just right.While I was swapping out my old mat for this one, three different people commented on how nice it looksâand letâs be honest, who doesnât love a good compliment?The welcome mat has a non-slip backing, so it stays put even when Iâm cleaning off my shoes. Iâve tested it in both wet and dry conditions, and it doesnât slide around at all, even when the ground is damp.The only small thing Iâve noticed is that I end up sweeping it almost daily. Might just be the way my entryway is designed, but grass, dirt, and random junk seem to find their way onto the blue and white layer, so if youâre in a windy area, expect to do some upkeep.Overall, it looks great, feels high quality, and adds the perfect touch to my front door.

Exactly as advertised
This set of door mats is great. I am using the welcome mat outside and the fabric one inside. They are working out very well so far.The fiber mat is thick and has a great texture for getting junk off your shoes before coming inside, it’s also got a nice water proof backing to it.The fabric one, I feel, is better for inside situations, or for doors that are very well protected by a roof/porch. Our door still gets slammed with wind/rain despite being under a roof, and since the fabric mat is just a plain woven fabric, I felt like it might mildew/mold a little too easily out there. Inside it helps get wet shoes dry before walking onto the wood flooring, and it’s easy to wash when it gets dirty. I did end up using a nonslip rug pad underneath it to keep it from slipping around when we step on it. Otherwise it slips a little too easily on the hard floor.The combination of the two have been very useful. Great set.

Great welcome mat
These coconut fiber door mats are very popular because they are made of natural fiber and are very functional for removing dirt and debris from getting tracked into your home. Nevertheless, they won’t last very long if they are soaking wet all the time. Better for use in a dry location.This coir mat seems well-made and has a thick rubber base which adds ballast and keeps it from slipping around. I got the smaller size option but it’s large enough for a typical doorway entrance. I have a covered porch which will protect the mat most of the time but I may have to keep an eye on it during especially rainy and windy days. It can handle getting wet but you don’t want to leave it soaking wet for days on end.The thin cotton checkerboard rug included is nice but not really suitable for leaving outside on my porch. I’ll be using that item indoors in some other fashion.
