Outstanding!
I wanted to believe the positive reviews, and they are indeed true! I’ve tried numerous brands of stair treads, and the rubber-backed ones look nice but move imperceptibly every day until they’re way out of kilter. While I really like the ones with peel-and-stick adhesive, I have a minor concern about them getting stickier over time and taking up the paint when removed. These treads have no such worries. The backs are coated with some kind of miracle (non-sticky) substance, protected by peel-off strips. After preparing the stairs, the treads were easy to place and re-position. It’s been a couple of weeks now, and they haven’t moved at all! They also look good, and the padding makes walking up & down the stairs more comfortable. I expect them to last a long time. The cost may seem a little high, but when you figure the cost per stair, they’re worth it!

I was hesitant about this purchase because there was only one review. Iâm so glad I trusted my instincts and went with these self-adhesive carpet stair treads. We have three adults and a 100 pound dog going up and down the steps several times a day. These little suckers donât budge. Look nice and work well.
I was reluctant to cover nice hardwood steps with carpet – this is a good solution. Looks nice – kind of a non-obtrusive classic and classy look. Installation was as expected. (They do have non-skid feature but used carpet tape to keep secure. The carpet tape is harder to deal with than the treads themselves but worth the extra step for safety IMO) Helping canine and human household inhabitants navigate stairs more safely. Minus one star because they are on the thin side with not very sturdy fabric, and Iâm pretty sure they will not wear well over time. But that remains to be seen.

PERFECT!
So glad I chose this one. I know it is more expensive but you don’t need tape and you don’t need to scrape off any sticky glue. The pads a-fix firmly to the stairs and have relieved the worry of slipping. They also eliminate the visual concern of not seeing the bottom stair clearly. I wish they also made a 3 x 3 for the landing. I chose gray which looks great and adds to the value of the home. Does not look cheap or feel cheap. Very happy with my purchase.

Plush, Beautiful and Stays in Place
Just wow. I was very doubtful that these would stay in place. I have three large men ranging from teens to early twenties who just don’t walk downstairs. These have not budged since we put them in place. They are also very well cushioned. Even the teenager stopped in his tracks the first time he stomped on them and said “Wow – that feels nice!” So teen approved! Also very beautiful and elegant looking. So mom approved! Worth the price. I bought a few other options that cost less, but they were thin and slippery and felt and looked cheap. Buy these. You won’t regret it.

Great Treads
These are great treads. We have a 30 pound puppy and she adapted quickly to these. They DO NOT slide, are very pretty and a good quality. Installer beware- the film on the back is very thin, so you need to be patient when peeling off. I would do about 4 then take a break. Took me an hour total to do all 13. Just take your time. Our stairs are century and finished. I just cleared with some mild soap before I stuck down. No problems. Love these!!!

Beautiful Stair Treads
These stair treads are beautiful and high quality. Once you remove the backing and adhere to the stairs, they don’t move. Super easy to install. As you can see in the picture, my husband created a template for me to use while installing so I didn’t have to measure each step. It honestly took me less than 10 minutes to apply these to 13 stairs. Now – my dog can go down the stairs without slipping 🙂

These treads are made from a nice heavy material. They are a charcoal grey with a gold thread pattern. I stuck them down with some wide, double sided tape which I had also purchased. My stairs are fairly wide and I wish the treads were a bit longer- maybe 36â. But other than that, Iâm a happy shopper.

these were priced higher than other stair tread carpets but the quality was poor. The material was lighter on one side on 4 of the 13 treads(see the attached photo). I sent the seller an email mar 6 , 5 days before the 30 day return window. They did not reply and I can no longer return the package. buyer beware
