This is a smart option for creating new storage options while also adding an attractive furniture accessory to your space. As the ottoman bench is shipped folded up, I was a bit doubtful of their statement that you could actually sit on it. So naturally, I tested that first and I was surprised to see how I could not only easily sit on it, but itâs actually quite comfortable.But whatâs really great about this ottoman is the ability to customize the interior layout to really benefit from this addition of storage space. First attempt to open the dividers was a bit confusing, but I quickly got the hang of it. And playing around with it, I realized thereâs quite a lot of variations you can create. And as the pictures demonstrate, you could easily use this to store shoes as itâs quite deep (it has to be if youâre going to be able to sit on it).The fabric on the outside feels like a typical chair, so Iâm not too worried about wear and tear, though I think this shouldnât be placed in high traffic areas as the walls are thin (itâs what allows it to be collapsible for delivery).The only minor negative I could say is I struggled a bit with putting the lid on, but once I got the alignment right, it went on snug and didnât budge. Minor issue which is why Iâm still giving this 5 stars.

I wasn’t sure about what the quality would be like when I ordered this, as I have had so many floppy storage boxes in the past. This one is GREAT! It comes flat packed, and you just pop it out. Inside the lid there is a flat board for putting in the bottom to make it more sturdy, but the corners have wooden supports too, which helps a lot. The lid is also reinforced with wood, and padded on the top.What I was really impressed with was the inside dividers. I had assumed these would be separate, but they are actually built into the sides of the box, and you just pop them out in whatever configuration you want, so you can make all sorts of divisions inside the box – brilliant idea!The fabric on the outside is good quality (not just the cheap nonwoven material), and it has a handle on each side so you can move it around easily. Because it has wooden supports, this can be used as a stool as it supports a lot of weight, and also as a footstool.I got this to store all my cross stitching stuff in, and the dividers inside keep everything separate.Absolutely perfect for what I want. I wish they did this in different colours as cream would be nice for my bedroom!

I always have an ottoman around my desk as a foot rest. I replaced by current one with this, and it’s definitely better than what I had.The material is good. It doesn’t have any annoying buttons on it that might get caught and rip the material. It’s a good volume + is the right height.The packaging was really good too. No complaints.

I am very happy with this storage box as not only can I hide stuff in it, but it works well as a footstool or even a extra seat for someone to perch on if we have a lot of visitors at the same time.The overall quality is very good and it feels nice and sturdy in use. I didn’t expect to be able to store much in it, but you can really pack quite a bit away in it! I have it in our front room and use it to store our extra dog throws in when they are not in use. It has quickly been utilised by our smallest dog as somewhere she can sit and survey her domain, or I use it as a footstool when watching TV of an evening.I would certainly consider buying a couple more to use in the bedrooms as they really are handy and useful to have.

The ottoman is 17 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 13 inches high. It is what I consider a small storage box similar to what I use to store my Christmas decorations in bought at TJX.It comes with a board that is put at the base of the ottoman before you can take the side dividers and ‘pop’ them out from the side walls to allow a more organized storage as shown in the product photos. The entire seat of the box is supported by the rigidity of the walls – which was flat shipped and needs to be popped open to be used.We used this for storing our child’s stuffies and noted that the lid did not place easily on top of the box. Because the storage box got full, you had to make an extra effort to make the lid fit along all the sides – there wasn’t a nice gap to just place the lid on top. This storage box isn’t the best of kids because of the cumbersome time it takes to put the seat on properly and most young kids won’t be able to do it themselves. It comes with two side handles of faux leather that are held by rivets – they are light duty and not meant to carry heavy items in the container.The seat itself is firm – there is a interior hard board that part of the lid and it is tuffed so a child can sit on it. I would not suggest for use by an adult or teenager given the box itself is for light duty use – not a stool in any way and the walls would collapse with anything over 100lbs.Overall, it has its uses – two of these can be separated or put together to make a bench. This is good for a young kid’s room to put all their toys inside but without committing to an wood toy trunk that is heavy to move around when friends are over. It makes extra seating for the kids. It is also a good replacement for a toy basket as there is a seating ability with the lid unlike some open baskets that are sold.I’m using it to make it a sitting area near our child’s book shelf and also as double duty store her stuffies (from the floor) into a container. I like it and found it helpful to be able to move it around her room.
