Benefits & Use Cases
The SUPERDANNY Solar Outside Lights are engineered for practical outdoor applications where reliable, hands-off lighting is essential. Their motion-sensing functionality makes them ideal for enhancing home security around entry points like porches, garages, and garden pathways. The bright 7000K LED output improves visibility in dark areas such as walkways, decks, and backyards, helping prevent tripping hazards and deterring unwanted activity. Because they operate entirely on solar power, these lights reduce electricity costs and support sustainable living without compromising performance. The included mounting hardware allows easy setup on walls, posts, or fences, while the long-lasting battery ensures consistent operation throughout the night—even during shorter winter days—when the solar panel is positioned to maximize sun exposure.
Installation & Setup Guide
Setting up your SUPERDANNY Solar Outside Lights is straightforward, but following the recommended steps ensures optimal performance. Begin by choosing two distinct locations: one for the solar panel where it will receive unobstructed direct sunlight, and another for the light unit near the area you want illuminated. Use the included mounting bases, screws, and plastic anchors to secure both components firmly. Position the solar panel facing true south (in the Northern Hemisphere) or true north (in the Southern Hemisphere) at a slight upward tilt to capture maximum sunlight. Connect the light unit to the solar panel using the 16.4ft extension cord before installation to verify the connection works properly.
After installation, allow 1–2 full days of charging in direct sunlight before relying on the light’s automatic operation. This initial charge compensates for any battery depletion that may have occurred during storage or shipping. During the first few nights, monitor how the light performs in different modes—constant, motion-activated, or dim-to-bright—to determine which best suits your needs. If runtime seems shorter than expected, especially between September and December when daylight hours decrease, adjust the solar panel’s angle to face the sun more directly or trim nearby foliage that might cast shade.
Important Notes
Before installation, ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight without obstruction from trees, buildings, or other structures. Avoid placing the panel near artificial light sources like porch lights or streetlamps, as ambient brightness may interfere with the automatic shut-off mechanism. After prolonged storage or shipping, the internal battery may be depleted; therefore, connect the solar panel and light unit before initial use and allow 1–2 days of charging in full sun. During periods of low sunlight—particularly between September and December—adjust the panel’s angle toward the sun to optimize charging efficiency and maintain runtime performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What do I do first after receiving the light?
A: The battery could be low after long time storage and transport, please connect the solar panel and light then let it charge in the sun for 1-2 days before installation.
Q2: How long is the battery runtime?
A: When the battery is fully recharged, it powers the light for up to 15 hours (all night) in constant mode or dim-to-bright motion sensor mode. In cloudy days or between September to December, please adjust the solar panel to face the sun for optimal charging.
Q3: Any precautions for installing the solar panel and light panel?
A: 1. Don’t install the solar panel in the shade of trees or buildings where they can’t absorb sunlight.
2. Don’t install the solar panel near other light sources, as bright light could cause the light to stay off or blink at night.

Awesome!

Bright Lights
These lights are working great. The solar panels seem sturdy and easily maneuverable to aim in any direction for best sun exposure. The lights are very bright and have 3 settings at high, medium and low. Also, there is an option for the light to be completely off and only light up when motion is detected adding the surprise element I was looking for. The motion range detection is about 30 feet for sure. Sometimes it picks up motion a little further out depending on time of day and what the object is. I will be buying another pair.

Easy to set up
So many times you see a commercial, a video or a commentary about a product you wanna buy, and it sounds like itâs really easy to get it all together and up and running. And then you buy the product and find out itâs a nightmare to set up. Nothing goes Like itâs supposed to go. That was not the case with these lights. Very easy set up. And they are working at night whenever I have to run around out there. I donât have to take an extra light with me anymore. I still do but only out of force of habit. The one thing Iâm not exactly happy about,( therefore, I only gave it four stars), is the light is a little dimmer than I had hoped it would be.. Still, not a dealbreaker. I would buy more lights like these if I needed them in the future.

Great night floods for your patio or back
Great lights. I mounted the solar panels on a 12″ x 12″ piece of plywood and set them on my roof. The lights stay on all night in medium power and they will last for several cloudy days before the power drops enough for the lights to fade. Great back yard lighting, not too bright, good flood coverage. It would have been nice to have a remote control for the modes, but not a big deal.

LED light
Although there are some advantages to this light ( separate solar panel with long extension wire). The light itself is not nearly as bright as you would think for a light panel of its size. I ended up having to replace them and just put them in a shed that I never go out to at night. On the good side if I ever need to it does light my small shed at least enough to see something

Great light, lousy hardware
This light works great. Motion sensor has worked without fail, and the ability to mount the solar cell apart from the light is wonderful. But, the included screws for mounting are useless – every one had the screw head break off while installing. You will need to get better screws, but I’ve had no other issues with this light. Works great, charge seems to last long enough, and a couple heavy rain storms came through without issue.
