Benefits & Use Cases
This recliner cover is ideal for individuals seeking an affordable and effective way to extend the life of their current furniture without investing in a replacement. It’s particularly beneficial for homes where frequent reupholstering is impractical or undesirable. The stretchable material ensures a secure fit even on recliners equipped with adjustable mechanisms, making it suitable for a wide range of standard models. Whether used in family rooms, home offices, dens, or guest areas, the cover provides essential protection against spills, pet hair, and everyday stains while introducing new colors or textures to complement your interior decor.
Customers frequently highlight the cover’s ability to maintain its position and shape over time, contributing to sustained comfort and visual consistency. Many users appreciate how it revitalizes older recliners, making them look newer and more inviting. The combination of durability, ease of use, and stylish appearance makes this product a popular choice among those who value both function and form in their home furnishings.
Important Notes & User Considerations
While the TaoCoco Recliner Chair Cover is praised for its quality, stretchiness, and overall performance, some users have reported minor challenges during initial installation—especially on older recliners with complex mechanisms or tight-fitting frames. Proper stretching and alignment during setup can help ensure a better hold and prevent slippage. It’s recommended to verify the dimensions of your specific recliner model before purchasing to confirm compatibility.
Note that the package includes only one chair cover; no additional items such as clips, straps, or cleaning tools are provided. For optimal longevity and appearance, avoid using bleach when laundering and always allow the cover to air dry completely rather than using a dryer. These care practices will help maintain the fabric’s elasticity and color vibrancy over time.
User feedback reflects a generally positive experience, with many noting that the cover fits well, looks attractive, and feels comfortable. While opinions vary slightly regarding ease of installation and long-term retention, the consensus remains strong on the product’s reliability and value.

Great fit
This is the best recliner cover weâve tried! It fits so well, stays in place, and feels super soft. The fabric has a nice stretch to it, so it hugs the chair perfectly without looking sloppy. Plus, the jacquard pattern adds a nice touch of style. Perfect for a comfy and good-looking way to protect your recliner, this oneâs a winner!

Good customer service
The cover is very easy to use and it fits well. It is a little thin, so we did receive one piece with a tear/hole in it. After contacting the company asking for one replacement part, they replaced the entire cover. Very nice, efficient, and good to work with!

Comfy and well made
I bought this to cover our favorite old recliner and was definitely not disappointed. The color is rich and deep. Its extremely comfy and stays put. After multiple washes and constant opening and closing of the chair itself, this product is well made and doesn’t budge. Only complaint we have were the directions were not perfect to place it on the chair, but we figured it out, and that’s a very small issue..if even that.

Rocked my recliner world!
Holy heck these chair covers have transformed my living room. Did you did your mother ever tell you to not sit on the chair in shorts? Or did she put tea towels on the arms? Well, my mother did and my husbands did not. So after 2 years the fake suede on our loungers was, in a word, nasty. The chairs are really comfortable and I didn’t want to I have to go shopping for new ones, so I decided to give these a whirl. I didn’t try a bunch of different products, but I did make the mistake of just buying one of these, and I loved it so much that I had to wait for Amazon to deliver the second one. Do yourself a favor and just order two of them at the same time. They’re easy to install, the fabric is really nice, and they look great. They are an ingenious design to fit a wide variety of chairs, I just guessed and got lucky that they fit. There’s a small corner in the back that doesn’t get covered, but it’s so minor compared to the massive improvement the chair covers making my living room I just don’t care about that.Again, they’re super easy to install and the fabric is quite nice on your skin. The best part? $40 saved me the huge expense of replacing the chairs. Ingenious!

It worked well
Overall I am quite happy with the recliner cover but there are a couple issues.*My man’s recliner is the only place he ever sits so it gets lots of use and it is as large as the biggest dimensions that this cover is supposed to fit.*The directions that come with it are VERY basic. It literally tells you to look for the locations on tags inside the fabric bags then the order in which to put them on. That is all. The tag that is sewn into a seam for the back piece says “Center Back”. No idea what that seam is the center of but it isn’t the center of the back.*D’s chair doesn’t come apart. Putting the back and the seat sleeves is tight. I’m a DIY kinda girl so I went up to the sewing drawers and pulled out a couple super long bodkins and threaded the elastic anchors though the crack where the seat and back meet. I have no idea how I would have gotten them through otherwise.*The first step is to put the back sleeve on. Because of the dirth of instructions I had to remove and twist the sleeve around after going to the work of threading the anchors the first time. After it was turned around right, the anchors from the front of the sleeve fit perfectly. The anchors for the back were the right length but very badly placed. There was no way to get them to fit. I cut them off, poked holes in the cover in better places, sealed the edges with some stretchy glue (DIYer, already had some in the closet) and threaded the anchors over the seam, tying them off at the bottom of the chair frame. (Update: several months later and it hasn’t travelled or broken)*Bagging the arms is the next step. Put the arm sleeve with the pocket on the chair first. It isn’t obvious which side of the sleeve goes on the inside but is obvious when there is a pocket on the outside. That said, that pocket with the slot for the reclining lever is on your left when you are sitting down. D’s recliner has the lever on the right. The slot is nearly in the middle of the side panel. The lever on D’s chair is on the bottom of the side so even if the slot was on the correct side, it would be in the wrong place and would need fixing that couldn’t be made invisible. Another small hole poked in the cover with the edges sealed with glue and the lever is free and looks good (Update: months later it still looks great). The slot on the left arm is covered by the pocket and looks good too but the large slot/hole inside makes it unusable for magazines or remotes.So. After the mods, the chair looks great. D’s chair backs up on furniture and you can see from the pic that the back of the cover doesn’t go all the way down to the floor. The fix looks bad. If the back of the chair showed I would be a lot less happy. 1 pic of immediately after I finished putting the cover on and 1 pic of several days later. It seems to be staying put well.
Perfect fix love the color and easy to set up. The material has great stretch. I’m loving this product and my old chair looks brand new. Thank uou7 –
