Excellent Lock! Works perfectly and quietly
I was replacing a Kwickset lock which was extremely loud when it opened and closed. I can’t understand how they think this is acceptable. So I was focused on whether this lock was quieter. MUCH. This is a very quiet lock. Even the beeping (which you can turn off) is not offensively loud. This is a well made, attractive lock. The keypad works well and the finger recognition is excellent.The only con is that you can’t lose the directions. It is not hard to program but not intuitive. You must have the directions.You get 20 codes for the number pad and 20 for the finger pad (and within each finger code, you can use different fingers). This is not spelled out in the directions or the listing…but I figured this out through correspondence with the company. They are very responsive.This is a highly recommended product at a very good price!

So far so good
We got this to replace a major name brand keypad deadbolt that was still working fine, but the finish had gotten bad and we wanted a new look (went from brass to satin nickel). We like this lock much better than the one we removed, and the Teeho is around half the price, even though it has many more features. Operation is pretty straightforward. The fingerprint reader works flawlessly so far. I like that it can hold so many fingerprints – way more than you’ll need. I scanned several of my fingers so if I have one hand full I can use a different finger on a different hand. Very handy. I like the auto-lock feature also. Install was pretty easy, but you do have to make sure everything is perfectly aligned for it to work smoothly. The latch on our door was recessed a little too far so it didn’t match either of the two setback distances perfectly. It was off by just enough that the operation wanted to bind, and it was difficult to operate. I had to put some washers behind the latch plate to shim it out just a bit, then it worked perfectly. The manual latch operator on the inside of the door is plastic. Would have preferred it to be metal. That’s my only real minor gripe with it.

Nice but not perfect
I have two of these and they work well. You will need a hub to operate them remotely. They work well with the phone app but you have to be close to the lock to get them to communicate. If my finger gets wet, the sensor canât read the print so I have to manually enter the code. The app is good and easy to use with many programmable features. I would recommend this device.

Spend the extra few bucs and get TEEHO. After a slew of poor manuals from other companies, and difficult customer service contacts, on and on.This company really thought out their product and service. Great fantastic manual, well thought out, good illustrations-all to make simple. Added gasket where others leave out. Smooth working function, quick manual set up…imagine that, a company that cares.One of the first things I noticed, a huge customer service number, where other companies run from you and finding customer service number is like winning the lotto. Good luck. I will make this company my go to keyless door lock from here on out. I am just a customer, giving an honest review.

a reliable lock
This is the first lock with keypad/fingerprint I have bought. The experience so far has been great! First all, the installation was easy. The instruction was clear. When setting up the fingerprint function, It would not unlock with my fingerprint for the first several tries probably because of dry finger or dusts on the finger. I set up the fingerprint again after washing my hands, It worked. I have been using my fingerprint to unlock it ever since, no complain! I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this for its simplicity for a parent that is aging. It was easy to install. It is easy to use. Love that locking it is any button. The fingerprint was easy to setup and seems to work consistently. I definitely feel it was worth the cost.

Initial confusion but good product UNTIL IT WASN’T
***Initial Post—Things have changed!I am a typical man. I installed the lock reading little of the directions provided. When I got the lock installed I could not get the bolt to turn the right way. I thought it may have been an obstruction but it wouldn’t move when the door was open. Turns out, all I needed to do was reset it. It is one of the last parts of the directions. Took me two days thinking about it and trying to figure it out. It is now installed and working great!09-26-2024I purchased this item in Jan of 2023. As read above, I had trouble with the installation as there was a technical issue within the electronics itself. Installation was sufficient. Once installed, lock worked fine. About a month ago my batteries ran out for the first time. I quickly replaced the batteries with top of the line Duracell lithium batteries only to have them die 3 days later. I thought it was odd and that may Duracell wasn’t as good as a battery as it was priced. I finished out the pack of Duracell batteries and consistently had that problem so my thoughts about Duracell as a brand continued as I remembered that I had EverReadys in there prior to the initial battery change and they had lasted a long time. So I went back and bought the same type of battery I had before. 3 days later, batteries are dead. I reached out to Teeho for help and they gave me a list of things to do. The last on the list was to send them a picture of the battery holder without batteries so I followed the steps and it still didn’t work. I sent over the picture and the response was basically they were sorry it stopped working but since it had been over a year since I purchased it there was nothing they could do. They did offer me a $10 refund but It felt more like a slap in the face. According to the reviews it seems that most of the locks work (at least initially) but for the ones that are faulty, Teeho does not stand behind them. It’s a “we have our money, good luck.”

Bought this as I wanted an electronic lock that was not wifi. This is not my first electronic lock, so install for me was extremely quick as this is no different from some others I have installed, and the supplied instructions were easy to follow so even if you haven’t installed one in the past, you should be fine with this one.The face of the lock has a nice metal finish and the buttons feel durable. The back (or inside) is plastic so a little less sturdy feeling, but this isn’t an issue as it is inside the house. The mechanism itself worked perfectly, opening and closing easily.I also like the ability to set multiple codes, turn on auto-locking (so it automatically locks the door after 30 seconds), and set one-time codes.

Great kids don’t need keys cut and lost works great. Great can switch of altolock and switch back on finger print work great just keep hands dry and having code helps as well. Battery life seems good so far haven’t needed to replace yet thanks

Picked out this lock because of the price (was on sale) – but also because I appreciated the simple functionality and look. Had it for about a week now and so far I’m loving it!Installation was very easy – just a screwdriver needed to swap out some screws. (I’ve never changed a deadbolt out before). The instructions that come with it are pretty easy to follow along with to get it set up for the first time. Only took a few minutes.I love that you can program it to have multiple codes, as well as multiple fingerprints. The fingerprint reader works very well – always registering first try and opening very quickly. Super helpful for the kids so they don’t need to carry a key, remember codes, or even have to wrestle with getting the reader to work.Deadbolt turns very smoothly – and this is actually one of the quietest electronic locks I’ve ever had/used. When I turn the beeping/sound function off – I can barely hear that it’s unlocking for me.The construction of the device is decent – but matches the price point. Thin metal exterior, and all plastic interior. My understanding is that there are some spool pins in the tumbler to provide some resistance to quick picking.So far, I’m very happy with this choice. Function wise – I love it way more than all of the more expensive electronic locks I’ve had on homes. We’ll have top wait and see how long it takes before breaking down!
