Sturdy and looks great
Had to move my office to another room that had carpet. I looked for something that was sleek and didnât put odd holes in my carpet. The tempered glass was perfect. Very clean looking, perfect size for my desk and chair. Seems durable despite being glass. And honestly the cost was worth it. You definitely need help getting it up stairs because the box is large and cumbersome. 10/10 recommend.

Nice and thick
Has there ever been a chair mat that is big enough that your chair doesn’t roll of the edge? Not that this has anything to do with this mat, because it is excellent. It is thick and although I have dropped some heavy metal items (no, not a Black Sabbath CD) on it, it’s still in one piece. However, I must admit that I did a serious clench or two.The only thing about it being thicker and sturdier is that when I do roll of the edge, it’s that much more annoying because I have to work that much harder to get the chair back on the mat. Not exactly like being in a Jeep in Moab trying to get over The Wall, but close enough.Still, a great product!

Smooth slide
This glass round chair mat was perfect for my at-home work station. With my home’s medium/long pile carpet all the other chair mats were ineffective. This one finally did the trick and loved the fact it came in a circle. So far it has been working great. Only issue I have is that it does have a tendency to slide a few inches over time. The bottom is smooth so slides on carpet fairly easy even despite the weight. I wish the underside had something on it (teeth, textured surface, sticky tape, etc) to prevent it from sliding. Also the the glass mat has a flat square edge. Wish it had a beveled edge, possibly tapered so items could roller over it easier. Also feel like with a beveled edge less like to stub your toe.

Makes for a very nice work floor
I have used many plastic office chair mats over the years. They work fine, but last a few years and then crack. This glass one I expect to last for much longer. I also really like how rigid it is. It makes rolling around on a chair very easy. I must admit I was a bit nervous walking on it and sitting on it at first since it is glass, but so far so good. Iâm using it on medium pile carpet and it is great. It is heavy, so stays in place, unlike my old plastic one. Very happy with this mat.

My Koonmi tempered glass chair mat splintered after 2 months!
The koonmi tempered glass chair mat claimed to withstand over 1000 pounds of pressure in the ad, but I only weigh 220 lbs. I guess I got screwed! I purchased it to support my home office chair, and initially I was quite happy with it….. right up to the moment it went “ping” and splintered into a million tiny shards of sharp glass. The Amazon ad said it was good for hard or carpeted floors (my floor was carpeted) and I bought it to keep thr rollers on my floor from excessively wearing the carpet. The tempered glass was a good idea, but I think it is just too thin to hold even my 220 pounds, let alone over 1000 lbs claimed. I don’t spend hours a day in my home office so the chair mat didn’t have heavy use. It should have lasted a whole lot longer than two months.
