Medium size, looks and works fine.
I like the various functions and the features and it’s a Toshiba. It cooks fine. What I do not like is that it always defaults to Toast mode when you turn it on. I rarely use the toast function. I have to scroll through and settings to find Bake or Convection. It would make sense to remember your last function setting. Another thing I do not like is that the Time and Temperature buttons do not correspond to the display positions. Clarification: The Time is the top number, and the Temperature is the bottom number on the display. The adjusting knobs are in the opposite positions. I am constantly turning the wrong dial. It’s a little annoying for my logical mind but I can live with it. I read a review that said that steam was getting into the display. I have not seen this happen. Just be careful not to block the vents on the top of the cover. Also, the back gets very hot so make sure the power cord does not rest against the back of the unit.

3 years running!!
I rarely have ever written reviews but this is worth it. I LOVE it and use it daily. It cooks everything perfectly and heats up super fast. Knock on wood, but Iâve had zero issues with it and when it finally does poop out, Iâll be buying another one.Highly recommend buying a second tray if youâre going to use it daily.

We’re waiting for it to crap out so we can throw it off a cliff : ]
UPDATE: Changed our Star rating from 1 to 4.Yes the things we listed previously are still not to our liking, but isn’t it like a lot of things in life….you get use to it.It’s like friends living near a freeway…..we ask, “doesn’t the noise bother you?” They say, “It did, but now we’re use to it”. So the negative things we listed are still there, but we’re use to it now. Sorry Toshiba for the 1 star initially. It serves our purpose- oven heats up fast, it cooks the food, toast is still meh?- have to flip the bread over to get it evenly toasted, but at the end of the day, there’s more important things to grip about & this toaster isn’t one of them any longer.ð¤And for those of you who wonder if we’ll still toss it over a cliff when it stops working….nope. Recycle what can and into the metal bin. ð~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Seriously, this toaster oven is so annoying and it shouldn’t be so convoluted/over complicated to figure out, but it IS.Our 12 year old Cuisinart toaster oven stopped working so we hastily bought this one. Had we read K.Tran’s spot on review & other reviews, we wouldn’t have made this purchase.Major annoyances:No one has mentioned that when this t.oven is operating it sounds like an old creaky ship (Pirates of the Caribbean : ) listing from side to side. We’ve been using toaster ovens for over 20 years & never had one that literally cycles On & Off every 3 seconds (yes, seconds) & a creaky sound.Besides the cycling On & Off, every 3 seconds, the Default settings are a head scratcher. Bake is preset at 450° and Broil is preset at 350°. Huh? Is this an assembly issue- wires put in wrong order? And Broil does not go any higher than 350°…..took forever to roast pabalno peppers for Chili Rellanos.Defrost function is seriously flawed- doesn’t go any higher than 170°- –another Huh?And many reviewers mentioned there’s no ½ degree increments…if you need 375° you’ll have to choose 370° or 380°. If you bake a lot, this is a big difference.Toast function shouldn’t be that hard (eyes rolling as I write this); we have to flip the bread over to get it browned.Minor annoyances:The door doesn’t have a mechanism to keep it open slightly if you just want to keep the dish in the t.oven before serving it, as well as cooling the oven down. Why does Toshiba have to show pictures, on the glass door,of the different foods you can cook?? Cheezy looking.Instruction Book is worthless. It has 1¼ pages just on Rotisserie function??, and no info about Convection cooking. No details, suggestions, and troubleshooting included. Please pay close attention to all “not so positive” reviews for this poorly designed product. We didn’t because our old t.oven stopped working suddenly so we hastily bought this one- mostly by the way it looked on the outside (pathetic, eh?). Thanks to K.Tran and other reviewers who took the time to share their work arounds to make toasting & baking less frustrating.Wish Amazon had a category to Return an item that reads: Annoying, or Design Flaws, or Ready to throw item off cliff. ð¤

Love It – 2 Years & Still Loving It!
I love this toaster oven! After more than 5 years of searching for a good quality toaster oven both in stores and online, and being continually disappointed by how tinny and cheaply made most of them seemed to be even at 3 times the cost of this Toshiba, I’d spotted this one on Amazon and decided in desperation to take a chance on it due to the many good reviews it already had. I’ve not regretted that impulse for as much as a moment, and have thoroughly enjoyed using this toaster oven.It looks great on my counter, is more sturdy than any toaster ovens I had looked at in stores for MANY years, and works great! Since I already had both a built-in Wolf convection wall oven and a built-in Wolf convection microwave oven, I hadn’t cared whether the toaster oven had a convection feature or not, but am now glad it did, because I use that feature a great deal more often than I’d ever thought I would. As with most toaster ovens, the exterior of this one does get hot, but not frightenly so. I’d purchased a black silicone 9×12″ mat from Amazon to place on the top of it to diffuse some of the heat from rising to the cabinets above, but mainly so I could place a couple of extra toaster oven pans on it when the oven was in use–when not in use, I store the clean nested pans in the toaster oven. (Amazon has some great options available for extra stainless steel toaster oven pans, and a 12x10x1″ is a bit larger than the standard pans for this size toaster oven, but fits it perfectly.) I’d read one review by someone who’d returned their oven because the display sometimes fogged a little with steam when the convection feature was used. It does do that slightly, but the display remains clear enough to see even when it does, it also clears up again as soon as the oven cools, and has not negatively affected the operation of the oven whatsoever in the 2 years that I’ve been using mine. I truly love this toaster oven! This Toshiba actually surpasses the former great toaster oven it had taken me years to find this replacement for, since the design of it, especially the sturdy base of it, is far superior to the old one I’d had for more than 20 years. That one had been a quality toaster oven also, and had still been working like a champ, but it’s one design flaw had been that one of the legs on it had broken, and I’d grown tired of crazy gluing it back on every few months or so, yet couldn’t find any new ones in stores that had been nearly as good as my old one–until finding this Toshiba! This Toshiba actually exceeded my expectations in every way, and I have been delighted with it since the very moment of taking it out of the box, because the quality and design of it had not only surpassed the much favored old toaster oven I’d liked so well, but also the design and quality of the many, many others I had looked at in all sorts of stores over the years, too. I’d expected I’d likely have to resign myself to settling for a toaster oven somewhat inferior to the one I had enjoyed using for many years, so opening the box to discover that this Toshiba was vastly superior to any others I had seen was a nearly transcendent experience. If you’ve suffered through trying to replace any good quality small kitchen appliance in the past decade or so, you’ll certainly understand what I mean. All too often one has to end up settling for appliances that are more cheaply made, cease to work after only a few months, or don’t work at all right out of the box! I’ll be keeping the Toshiba brand in mind when making any future purchases, because I could not have been more pleased with the purchase of this toaster oven!

I love the space and the ability to move the shelves to accommodate food. The crumb tray is relatively easy to remove for cleaning. Iâve not yet used the rotisserie which looks a wee bit tricky but is not super important to me. The operating buttons are ok though it took a bit of practice to get used to getting the desired functions. Not difficult though. You donât need to be a Ph.D. I would recommend this item. Nancy B.

Hay que usarlo varias veces para agarrarle el modo, calienta bien, el tiempo y la temperatura se seleccionan manual, aunque se calienta de la parte superior Toshiba deberÃa mejorar el aislamiento para evitar perder el calor que ya generaste

I love that it matched our other black stainless appliances to start, and itâs size is perfect for our small kitchen without compromising the ability to do the things that I purchased it for. From baking potatoes, to making perfect toast ( on the 3 bars for our liking) and I can put a pizza in if I like ( havenât done that yet but soon!) It fits nicely under the cabinets and itâs not too tall so I donât have to move it when itâs on ! It has a rotisserie feature but I havenât tried that nor am I in any hurry to ð,, maybe down the road! But great little oven so far!

I’ve been using toaster ovens for nearly two decades now. I do not own a regular toaster, as I prefer the versatility of a toaster oven which can cook/reheat food as well as toast bread. I’ve been using this one for over three months and I am extremely happy with the results.I love the fact that it’s a digital oven and beeps loudly to warn that the food is ready. The big LCD screen makes it really easy to see what function you’re on. The dials are big and easy to understand after a little time. Most importantly, the oven is super powerful and cooks food evenly and quickly. Toast especially is perfect depending on the darkness setting (I recommend starting lighter until you figure out what level you like your toast on), the convection oven works great and I love the defrost option. However, there are a lot of filler modes like pizza and cookies, which is just convection bake with a different title. One word of warning, the convection bake is so powerful, if you’re baking make sure to use either parchment paper or a silicone baking mat as the metal tray gets really hot. Overall, it’s a fantastic oven, especially for the price.
