Defective power cord that is used to adjust the height of desk
Desk itself is great but I purchased an adjustable desk from Amazon, and while the desk itself works fine, the power adapter it came with is defectiveâit emits a constant noise that makes it difficult to use. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, Amazon has refused to replace the adapter, issue a partial refund for the defective part, or allow me to use my $20 promotional credit on a compatible replacement.Returning the entire desk is unreasonable. UPS did not follow my delivery instructions, so I had to carry the heavy desk up 19 steps alone. Now Amazon expects me to disassemble it, repackage it, and return it, all because they wonât issue a refund or send a replacement adapter.The $20 credit is useless because Amazon does not sell the adapter I need. Iâve requested a partial refund for the adapter, a replacement, or the ability to use my credit on a third-party seller, but Amazon refuses.Amazon has been accused of manipulative business practices by the FTC, and this is another example of poor customer service. I want a reasonable resolution without returning the entire desk.

Nice Surprise!
This was quite the surprise. I got this for my smaller office space to work out of on site and I took a risk with this and I’m glad I did. It’s a great size. Large enough for me to work and have space for the necessary items but small enough to the point where I still have office space for furniture, other peripherals, and a couch. It functions well and assembly was easy outside of one single design illustration flub. It’s rock solid with no wobble or play when sitting or standing. The power cord is functional and so far, so issues. The height has a decent range for the price and I can’t complain about it at all. Outside of being functional, it just looks great. For the price I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but this is an amazing desk and I’m really glad I got it.

This desk has worked well for my purposes. It’s nice and big, it gets as high as I want it, and I can adjust it down if I later decide I just want a normal height desk instead. Aesthetically my one complaint is that the top ships in multiple pieces and the joints are pretty visible. I’m personally not too fussy about things like that but your mileage may vary.Assembly was relatively easy, aside from one bad illustration error. There’s a step where you have to make sure to orient a certain piece the right way…and then the illustration has the “outward” arrow drawn in the wrong direction, so it’s actually pointing inward! Just make sure that arrow actually points outward. The arrow is correct on the piece itself and the drawing is correct except for the arrow’s direction.I’d also note that, while this is reasonably priced for a standing desk that’s this big and adjusts electronically, you can get smaller, non-adjusting ones a lot cheaper. So think about whether you need the size and features here.
