These work as advertised. The magnet is not the strongest one.
As long as these aren’t being placed in a spot you may be likely to bump, these function really well. The motion sensor works and the light is moderately good, though not super bright. They have USB-C inputs in them to charge, and USB-A to connect to the charger. I suppose this is best for a majority of people. They have a light which switches from red to green when they are fully charged. I’m using them in the basement furnace room, sticking them directly to the metal ductwork. Each light comes with 2 small squares of metal with a tape backing which would go on a non-metallic surface. I did not need these squares, so I’m not certain how they perform on a wood cabinet surface. The lights are removable due to this setup, which is nice. A lifesaver for coming home in the dark!
I work evenings and get home after my household has gone to bed. These have been great for helping me to navigate the house without anyone needing to leave a light on for me and waste energy! They have also helped me get ready for bed without turning on the big lights that wake my wife.These lights are an excellent compact size and are easy to install anywhere with their magnetic sticker mounts! You can also use these lights without the mounts by attaching to any magnetic surface. I use one of mine on my metallic bedframe and it has worked great there.Each light has 3 color temperature settings, and a 3 position mode switch for “off,” “always on,” and “motion sensing” modes. The motion sensor seems to function well and can sense motion from much greater distance than I expected. Because of this, be careful about how you place the lights if you don’t want the sensor to trigger all the time. The brightness at any setting is more than enough for me to see my way around at night, but I appreciate that the warmer settings are also dim enough to not bother my wife when I’m using it to get ready for bed.My only complaints about these lights so far is that if you ever turn the lights off manually, they will reset to the default color temperatures when turned back on. The battery life can also be a little bit short if you place the lights in a high traffic area (about 3-4 days for the one in my hallway).Overall, these are an awesome lighting option that is compact, versatile, and easy to use.
