The room to make vanilla extract is perfect! I used my husband’s expensive alcohol to make the extract out of excitement to make my own extract. I dropped one, it’s very durable and did not spill out nor was there any leakage of extract. It’s so easy to open, great seal and next project is pickling onions and garlic in honey. A perfect design with no smell!

Love these little storage bottles – NO LEAKS!
I have had these cute little jars in my cart forever and decided to finally pull the trigger and order them. They are everything I expected them to be. I had read several reviews about other brands leaking, however, I filled them with water and turned them upside down to check them as soon as they arrived and to my surprise not one drop leaked out. Donât know why I waited so long to order these little gems!

Overall, I’m mostly happy with these. Great sized for what I wanted (making brandied cherries and brandied ginger for cocktail garnishes). I’m using one for home made vanilla extract and it is a great size for that – the beans fit perfectly. When putting up the brandied cherries, one jar leaked like a sieve – even after changing out the original sealing ring with one of the backups supplied. I’m about to start on the ginger so I hope I don’t discover a problem with the other 2. (Two months later update – another one leaks like a sieve. I like the ones that work, but certainly won’t buy again.)

These jars a prefect from making vanilla. They are just a little bit taller than the beans. They do not leak and because they are not to fat they fit well on the shelves.I will order them again.

nice wide mouth bottles for homemade vanilla extract
i used these bottles to transfer my homemade vanilla extract out of the vodka bottles and put in better airtight bottles. i have four 750ml vodka bottles and bought six of these bottles. i really didn’t expect that i had bought enough bottles but to my surprise i have two bottles left. they are bigger than i though and when i make a different batch of vanilla i will use these bottles instead of leaving my vanilla in the vodka bottle as some stated you can do. also with the wide mouths it makes it easier to get the beans out for straining the fibers.
