Key Features
- Five Unlock and Lock Options: The Veise Smart Deadbolt gives you ultimate flexibility by supporting fingerprint scanning, password input via the touchscreen keypad, smartphone app access, key fob entry, and traditional physical keys. This redundancy ensures you can always enter your home quickly and securely—no matter the situation.
- K&K Home App Control: Take full command of your home’s access from anywhere using the intuitive K&K Home app. Remotely grant or revoke entry permissions, create temporary guest codes for service providers or visitors, and monitor who enters your home and when. The app supports voice announcements in English, Spanish, and French, making it accessible to a broad range of users.
- AES-128 Encryption & IP55 Weather Resistance: Your biometric data and access logs are protected by military-grade AES-128 encryption, ensuring that sensitive information remains private and secure. Additionally, the lock boasts an IP55 rating, meaning it’s designed to resist dust and water splashes—making it suitable for various climates and weather conditions.
- Emergency Power Port: Never worry about being locked out due to dead batteries again. The built-in USB-C emergency charging port allows you to power the lock externally using a portable battery pack or compatible charger, providing a reliable backup when needed.
- Auto-Locking Function: Enhance your daily routine with the auto-lock feature, which automatically secures the door after a set period of time. This reduces the risk of accidentally leaving your home unsecured and adds an extra layer of convenience for busy households.

The auto-lock feature is especially valuable for individuals who frequently rush in and out of the house, as it ensures the door remains secured without requiring manual intervention. Important Notes
Please note that while the Veise Smart Deadbolt offers standalone functionality, certain advanced features such as voice control, real-time activity logs, and remote monitoring require the purchase of the G1 Gateway, which is sold separately. Without the gateway, basic app-based functions remain available, but integration with major smart home ecosystems is limited.
Before installation, confirm that your door meets the required specifications: thickness between 1.37″ and 1.75″, backset distance of 2.4″ to 2.75″, and a pre-drilled hole diameter of 2.6″. Incorrect measurements may result in improper fit or installation failure.
Customer support is available to assist with setup, troubleshooting, and general inquiries. While technical phone support operates during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PST), email support is available around the clock. The product comes with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, and lifetime online resources are provided to help you maximize your lock’s performance.

LOVE!
Fantastic! Iâll be honest Iâm a âwing itâ kind of repair lady so I didnât use any measurements or templates and it fit perfect. I got lucky but it was so easy to install and has worked seamlessly the last few weeks. I love that you can add multiple codes and fingerprints and all of the extra features. Iâll be installing one at my momâs as well.

Sleek design, fast unlock
The matte black appearance is really nice and contributes to a premium look and feel. Even with a white door, the lock’s color scheme compliments the theme. The installation of the product was simple. I followed the video by scanning a QR code and managed to get the lock installed by myself in about 20 minutes. I just had to make sure the throw of the lock was able to fully engage and disengage; otherwise, an error would show up in the app and the lock makes a beeping sound saying there was a jam. The fix to this was to make sure that the latch was oriented correctly and in the fully unlocked position. The unlocking speed is fast for all of the unlocking methods. I haven’t had an issue with the lock not being able to recognize my fingerprint or where typing in the code onto the number pad would give me an error. What’s nice is that the light on the number pad is bright, during the night and day, so there won’t be an issue trying to find what number I want to press or where to place my finger. There’s even a green light to indicate a successful unlock and a red light to indicate the door has been successfully locked or an error trying to unlock the door (unrecognized fingerprint or wrong pin code). When you want to lock the door, there is an auto-lock feature in the app that can be set or turned off. To manually lock the door from the outside, a fingerprint can be used or pressing the checkmark (enter button equivalent) on the number pad.As for the audio, the speaker is of good quality and loud enough to be able to hear from both sides of the door. From the outside(number pad location), it gives an audio of successful unlock and unlock. From the inside, the “unlocked” audio comes on but not when it’s turned to lock.Overall, it’s a great lock that has been reliable for me. Installation was simple and I was able to do it by myself.

Works great in my multi family house, many ways to use
This is such a handy deadbolt to have and it works grt. Had to do a little bit of work to get it to fit on my deadbolt hole were it belong but thankfully I had all the tools needed to do it. But once it up it makes things so much easier. No more fumbling for keys in the rain when got stuff in your hands. Can now either push a few codes # in or use a finger print to access my house now. And if both them do fail say cause battery died then I still have the keys to get bk into our house. Really do like this lock and the fact can add a lot of finger prints in the system so my whole family can use the fingerprint technology. Thankfully I do leave in a pretty safe community so not to worried about theft as of rt now. âKnock on woodâ but I canât say wether or not this system is easy to hack or not in areas that have a lot more people and willing to hack things like this, only thing I would worry about. But honestly for my household this is a huge win

Door knob broken
The keypad/dead bolt works great! But the squared piece for door knob was broken. Now I have to either buy another knob or take everything off to send it back! Not good!!!

Convenient Keyless Deadbolt
This keypad deadbolt was easy to install in the existing 1-1/2″ hole in my entry door. Once installed, it’s also fairly simple to program and use.A few things to note:- When using the keypad, it has to be “woken up” before recognizing a number press – i.e., touch the keypad to make it light up, and then enter your entry code.- The keypad does not have to be woken up prior to using fingerprint recognition or the key cards.- Fingerprint recognition is surprisingly good. It’s only been a few days, but I have not had any false positive detections (using a fingerprint that has not been programmed into the lock) or false negatives (failing to recognize a programmed fingerprint).- Programmable user codes can be anywhere between 4 and 10 digits long. The user codes do not all have to be the same length.- The lock produces 3 different voice notifications: “Verification Successful”, “Verification Failed”, and “Door Closed”. (I would have preferred “Door Locked” for the last one, which would have been more accurate.)- You can enable/disable ‘Silent Mode’ for the lock. When ‘Silent Mode’ is enabled, voice notifications and keypad tones are not provided.- This lock is much quieter than my Schlage deadbolts. I find I have to use the voice notifications and/or visual cues (LED light bar or rotation of the inside knob) to determine if the door actually locked or unlocked.- The lock also has an ‘Emergency Power Port’ which is a USB port located on the bottom of the outside keypad assembly (protected by a rubber cover) which can be used to power the lock via an external battery pack in the event that the lock’s four AA batteries are depleted.
