Easy to install and perfect for a guest room’s AV.
PROS:* TV mount is articulating and allows a lot of movement.* Comes with a small glass shelf.* Easy to install requiring only a single wall stud to mount securely.^CONS:* The TV mount has caps for the ugly parts of the mount, but the bottom of the glass shelf doesn’t. Not a big deal, but something I noticed.Use:I bought this unit because I needed something that would eliminate the need for a TV console in the guest bedroom. I still may provide a dresser, but I didn’t want to be locked into that option. Plus, with where we decided to place the bed, we needed something that could articulate for easier viewing. This mount works well and was easy to install. As with any install/setup, take your time and you’ll be fine. The instructions are clear. My TV is an older one that had one HDMI port broken by my nephews when they visited one summer. So the only working HDMI port was one that inserts perpendicular to the TV (versus on the side in parallel). This was a problem as this mount plate blocked that port. Thankfully, I had some rather large spacers from another TV mount I bought for our much larger TV in the living room. Problem averted. If you’re in a similar boat, please check the plate and think about connections before securing. It might save you a little trouble.Other than that, I love it. Great for lighter TV’s!
The wall mount and shelf were both very easy to install. If putting into a stud, all you need is a 3/16 drill bit, drill, Phillips screwdriver, and level. Its very easy as they come basically already assembled. The shelf is plenty big for a cable box or satellite box. Depending on the game station of your choice, you may want to look somewhere else for a shelf. The TV mount is fairly sturdy but if you have a really heavy TV, a single stud mount may not be for you anyway. I have a 50″ ONN (walmart) TV that weighs 25 pounds and it handles it just fine. When you take the mount out of the box its tough to move around. Do NOT loosen the bolts a bit to help. I was going to but decided to wait till I had the TV on it, glad I did. It moves easily (with the TV on) but stays in place. You can extend it out and put your TV in about any position.I would, and most likely will, buy this kit again to hang TV’s with.

Good stuffs for your tv
Got this today and I was surprised about getting both the bracket and the shelf for the price (which is awesome!!!) I took the time to install it as soon as it arrived because I had my tv and cable box on a cabinet thing for the longest time so I felt a change was in order. Put it up today and to my surprise… itâs not bad at all. Works quite well and frees up a lot of space for me. Some people would put the wires down the wall but Iâm not too picky. Plus I can maneuver it around to where I want it. Much better than those flat on the wall brackets. Plus itâs easy access for plug ins on the back. All in all… Money well spent.

Sturdy and Strong But Flexible Too!
Like any home improvement project planning and preparation go a long way towards success.I mounted my TV in a dry-walled room requiring me to locate studs for mounting because I was placing a 42 pound Insignia plasma TV on my wall. Given the weight I could not rely upon simple inserts.I did have a bit of a challenging wth getting the ’tilt’ nut to lock my TV at the proper angle for my use. I’ve seen comments from users frustrated by the TVs lack of stability – this is probably the issue. I engaged my wife to steady the TV at the proper angle while I tightened the tilt nut into the proper position. No issues with stability from my view.The shelf was relatively easier, I took the attach to a stud for strength and safety purposes.From start to finish it was a 45 minute job for me and I consider myself a mid-level home skilled home improvement guy.

Does the job for a smaller TV, advise against large TV
This tv mount is OK and does the job for my smaller TV. I did have to buy screws as the ones provided didnât fit my TV and I donât like that the wall mount and TV mount are all one piece. You have to preset the screws in the wall and then attach the entire unit to the the back of the TV then pick it all up and attach to wall. Most units have a mount to attach to the the TV then a separate wall mount, then you slide the TV over the wall mount to attach, making it much lighter and easier to install. My TV was small and light so not a big deal, but Iâd imagine a bigger TV would be problematic. I also donât like the nob to adjust the tv angel and level. It is very difficult to loosen and tighten. If someone bumps the tv it can lose its position. Otherwise seems sturdy enough, installed pretty easy and in the end does the job well and allows me to adjust to the proper angel. Not bad, but probably not good for a larger TV.

…is that this product seems very well built and sturdy, and I would have trusted it to keep my 32″ monitor on our wall for sure.Alas, I have a curved monitor with an indent where the vesa points are, and it will only fit a 100×100 pattern. I don’t particularly like to trust spacers to do the job either and much prefer that direct mechanical connection. It doesn’t come with a ton of hardware, so I would keep that in mind. The other issue for myself, is that this is going somewhere very specific with oddly spaced studs, and so the angle vs length became a problem if I wanted to lay it flat against the wall.The small wall shelf is cool and seems extraordinarily strong, but is also tempered glass, so be careful about hitting any of the edges with hard objects. I’m sad I didn’t get a chance to use it, but I found a product that will work for my specific use case.Would still give 5 stars 😀
