Benefits & Use Cases

This standing desk is ideal for individuals working long hours at a computer who want to reduce sedentary time and improve circulation and posture. Whether used in a home office, corporate environment, or hybrid workspace, its large surface accommodates dual monitors, notebooks, reference materials, and essential office tools. The ability to switch between sitting and standing helps reduce back strain, boost energy levels, and enhance focus throughout the day. Customers appreciate its balance of functionality, modern design, and value for money, making it suitable for both personal and professional settings.

Important Notes

The desk arrives in two separate cartons—one containing the frame and the other the desktop—requiring assembly using the included instructions. Some users note that assembly takes minimal effort, especially with the provided guidance. The particle board surface is scratch-resistant but should be treated with care when moving heavy objects or placing hot items directly on the surface. Cord management accessories are available separately to help maintain a tidy workspace. For any technical questions or support needs, VIVO offers customer service assistance under the terms of the 3-year warranty.

Why Choose the VIVO Electric Standing Desk?

In today’s fast-paced work culture, many people spend more than eight hours a day seated, often leading to poor posture, reduced circulation, and increased risk of musculoskeletal issues. The VIVO Electric Standing Desk addresses these concerns by enabling dynamic movement throughout the day. By simply pressing a button, you can elevate your workstation to a standing position that supports natural spinal alignment and reduces pressure on your lower back. This promotes active working, which research shows can lead to improved alertness, reduced fatigue, and even enhanced productivity.

One of the standout features is the inclusion of four programmable memory settings. These allow you to save your ideal height configurations for different tasks or users. Whether you’re typing at a lower level for focused writing or adjusting higher for drawing or video conferencing, the desk remembers your preferences instantly. This is particularly useful in shared environments such as open-plan offices or family workspaces where multiple individuals may need distinct setups.

The desk’s 71-inch length provides generous real estate, allowing users to arrange equipment comfortably without feeling cramped. You can easily fit two 27-inch monitors side by side, along with a laptop, notepad, coffee mug, and even decorative elements like plants or bookshelves. The depth of the surface ensures there’s enough space for keyboard trays or small storage units if needed. The sturdy all-steel frame ensures stability even when fully loaded, eliminating wobbling or noise during adjustments—something that distinguishes it from cheaper alternatives with weaker motors or flimsy frames.

Assembly is straightforward thanks to the clear step-by-step instructions and pre-drilled holes that align perfectly during construction. Most users report completing setup within an hour, often with just one person. While the desk ships in two boxes—the frame and the desktop—this separation actually simplifies handling, especially in tight doorways or stairwells. Once assembled, the desk blends into most modern interiors, thanks to a sleek black finish and clean lines that complement both contemporary and traditional office decor.

Maintenance is minimal. The scratch-resistant particle board surface wipes clean with a damp cloth, making it easy to keep looking new. However, caution is advised when placing sharp or extremely heavy items directly on the surface to avoid potential damage. Over time, users have praised the desk’s quiet operation, noting that the motor produces little sound during elevation—perfect for early morning starts or late-night work sessions without disturbing others.

VIVO backs this product with a comprehensive three-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Should any issue arise—such as malfunctioning controls, structural weaknesses, or delivery damage—customers can contact their support team for prompt assistance. Many buyers also highlight the value proposition, noting that the desk competes favorably against pricier models while delivering comparable performance and reliability.

Who Is This Desk For?

This workstation suits remote workers, freelancers, students, and anyone transitioning from a traditional desk to an ergonomic setup. It’s equally effective in small apartments, home offices, co-working spaces, and corporate settings. If you’re tired of constant discomfort from prolonged sitting or find yourself fidgeting with manual cranks that lack precision, this electric model offers a hassle-free upgrade. Its versatility means it adapts to your evolving needs—whether you’re upgrading from a basic desk converter or replacing an older standing desk.

For teams or families sharing one workspace, the memory presets make it simple to customize each user’s experience. No more guesswork or repeated height adjustments—just press and go. Combined with its durable build and thoughtful design, the VIVO Electric Standing Desk represents a smart investment in long-term health, comfort, and productivity.

Awesome Desk – Great price and looks great…seriously!
I recently purchased the Vivo Standing Desk (43″ in white/white), and I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. This desk has truly impressed me with its quality and functionality.First and foremost, the desk has a great weight to it, which adds to its stability and overall sturdiness. It doesn’t feel or look cheap at all; on the contrary, it has a premium finish that complements my workspace beautifully. The motor on the desk raiser is a standout feature—quiet and smooth, it adjusts the desk height effortlessly. The assembly process was straightforward and hassle-free. It took me about 45 minutes to put everything together, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The picture drawings for placement were particularly helpful, making the entire setup process smooth and efficient.Overall, the Vivo Standing Desk is a fantastic addition to any workspace. It combines style, quality, and functionality in one sleek package. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their desk setup!I did also accidently order 2 desks (by mistake i.e. added to my cart too many times); their customer support were very friendly, professional, and helpful and assist me quickly with how best to return. Great company too!

Great desk, great value, great customer service
I bought the 60″ x 24″ model (not a freebie, no special promotions — I’m just a guy that needed an adjustable desk). My desk arrived in two boxes: the desktop in one and hardware in the other. Our favorite Brown Truck people managed to gouge a hole along the edge of the desktop. After contacting VIVO customer service and providing photos they offered a discount. I declined, and they promptly shipped a replacement desktop. It was easy enough to build, but the directions are lacking on how to set the correct width on the legs for the size desktop you have. The electronics include a digital readout of the height setting so you have a reliable way to get it exactly where you had it before, plus buttons for multiple pre-set heights.I’m very pleased with the overall quality and have experienced no lean or wobble (and there are adjustable feet on all four corners should I ever need to adjust). I’m 5’9″ tall and the desk will elevate to a higher position than I’d ever need. I’m happy enough with the purchase that I’m ordering a VIVO PC mount for under the desk.

    Great work surface!
*Husband review*Sent this to Seller on JAN-26-2024:”Sharp edges observed at leading edge of panel joining. Recommendations for safety & level:(1) Full-length joining channel at front & rear instead of four short channels. Middle panel least support – continuous passive/active downward load with resting hands on keyboard.(2) Thicker gauge screws for joining channels, need better grab per above.Otherwise.. very nice, very quiet desk, good price.”Assembly was fairly easy. The only challenging aspect was setting the leg width AND drive rod simultaneously. Otherwise, you should have this together within 2 hours, max: 30-45 minutes for the frame, and the rest of the time putting the top together, placing it on the frame, and situating the desk. A cordless drill with a low speed/high torque and torque adjustment dial will make this even easier. You just need one #2 Phillips and one Allen wrench bits to get this done. No hammers or other tools needed. They made it very simple especially with having the motor already mounted. Great instructions, too.The height adjustment is surprisingly quiet and VERY smooth. You have four programmable pre-set buttons with a manual UP and DOWN button. The lowest possible setting with the provided casters is a typical sitting desk or dining table height. So, depending on how you prefer to elevate your hands/arms for typing and using your mouse, you might consider an undermount keyboard/mouse thingy. It feels like the desk can be manually increased/decreased by 1/8″ increments — you really should have no issue finding the right height for you.The frame has substantial enough weight to keep the top from feeling the slightest wobble. This was my biggest issue with my prior desk — if I bumped it during a video call, it would wobble and look like I was having an earthquake. And the top is substantial enough to mount reasonably weighted items underneath. Not just baskets and tracks to hold cords and surge protectors, but PC mounts if, again, it’s reasonable. Make sure your screw length won’t penetrate the top surface. For what you set on top the desktop surface, follow the manufacturer’s limits for combined weight. The frame box includes two of these cord holders. When mounted, they’re out of sight – out of mind, so.. I don’t have a use for them, yet! But I suppose they could hold headphones or a corded earbud/IEM. Maybe a few cords, dunno.I got the 32″Wx63″L unit. In hindsight, I might have gotten the longer desk (73″ I think) because my old desk was sort of L-shaped, but I’m using less equipment now that I have a KVM switch for my 2-PC / 2-monitor set-up. So I should be good to go.UNRELATED TO THE DESK ITSELF BUT CRITICAL TO KEEP IN MIND.. Just be very clear AND CAREFUL when setting up your cable management, accessories, and living beings stored/visiting under ANY sit-stand desk:- My PC is on a standalone cart just inches from the floor, under my desk to mitigate sound/vibration issues. I had to ensure my HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-3.0 cables (A) were long enough at the DESK’S MAX HEIGHT position AND MONITOR PLACEMENT and (B) didn’t cause a trip hazard since there’s a walking path along the backside of my desk. Be mindful of the absolute max-height needed where all your connections occur. The last thing you want is to proudly sit at your new desk, press the button for max height, hark! the herald desk rises to glory, annnnnnd your monitors (assuming on stands and not mounted on arms) get ever so slightly tilted then violently pulled back only to plummet to their demise.- I have two large speakers and my PC tower/cart under my desk. I had to make sure at the lowest possible position, the motor would not crush/break or otherwise come in contact with the top of those items. Luckily, the speakers are ~3″ away from the bottom of the motor, and the PC is set on the outside, between one of the legs and the wall. If you keep a filing cabinet or some other accessory under the desk, be aware of all elements under the desk’s structural components during set-up.- Goes without saying.. Watch for small children and pets when raising and lowering the desk. When the desk achieves the lowest point, there are likely pinch points at the base of each leg.

Oh dear…… I ordered this as a home-office desk replacement 6 weeks ago, but only managed to free up the space to build it this weekend, therefore missing the returns deadline. It arrived quickly, in 2 reassuringly heavy boxes, so a good start…. I followed the instructions implicitly, as it has to be built “upside down” but all fairly intuitive. The base is of decent heavy gauge steel construction, although I would have liked to see, in addition to the central strut linking the 2 uprights, some outer braces for the desktop itself – more of this later. The motor is fit for purpose, although the drive linkage is moulded plastic, so debatable how long this will last with any sort of extended usage. The major problem(s) is with the desktop itself. Although assembled on a clean carpet, when righted, the top already showed some scuff marks because the finish simply isn’t durable enough – and shows every finger mark….. The worst part is construction. It comes in 3 pieces, and although the picture shows this, what is not evident is that the seams are simply connected by a dowel and short strut to hold them together. To make matters worse, the seam edges are champfered for some reason, not flush, so its impossible to get a tight secure and cosmetically pleasing finish. I’m tempted to take the whole thing apart and glue the joints to five more structural rigidity. The top has marked up in 2 days of light use, so I have purchased a large gaming mouse mat to cover the areas that will get the most use.- a solution to a problem I really wasn’t expecting from a £250 desk. In conclusion, a decent heavy duty frame, but with a shabby worktop.

Love how easy this was to set up. Also love that I could program presets for the different heights I wanted the desk. This unit makes it very easy to be able to sit or stand at the press of a button, the desk is sturdy and functional, I have 3 monitors and have no worries about them falling over. It is also aesthetically pleasing for an office!!!

The first 4 screws are a little weird to screw on, but other than that, all good. Assembles easy. Legs are heavy and stable. Motor works well. The grey looks good.

I loved this sit stand desk. Built quality is very good and top is also strong and thicker than regular desk which gives more premium look for the desk setup. The only thing that I dont like is speed, Because it has single motor, it is little slower compared to dual motors desk.Very good at this price point.
