Me –
So nice, I bought it twice!
Our backyard is our personal oasis where we entertain often. I like having these types of mats/rugs back there and end up picking a new one up every year or so. What sold me with this one originally was the generous and long size (6′ x 9′ will be perfect under my table!).This arrived very quick, folded up neat in a very thick square and wrapped/protected completely in plastic. Even though I don’t plan on using this, I opened up the bundle to check the rug out and review it, before rolling (not folding) it up again and storing it until spring comes around. This is your typical, outdoor, plastic ‘straw’ mat/rug. If you aren’t familiar, they are thin and lightweight (making them easy to move around), very durable and absolutely PERFECT for outside. The straw weave is actually not straw, but plastic. Why would you want a plastic rug you ask?Well, there are actually a lot of reasons. They don’t get hot- ever. This is perfect for a large area outside that gets direct sun. The sun can beat on this all day long in 95°F weather and you can still walk barefoot on it, comfortably. And speaking of sun, this doesn’t fade. I don’t understand how or why it doesn’t, but this will be the same shade of gray at the end of the summer as the first day I put it down. The rug is on the thinner side and very low profile, so it isn’t a tripping hazzard. It does arrive with some loose folds due to how it was shipped (which is why I immediately opened it and then rolled it back up), but after an hour in the sun or a quick spray with the hose, it will lay flat immediately. It also doesn’t get slippery, even when it’s wet.Speaking of the hose now-One of the main reasons this mat is great is because it is ridiculously easy to clean! This really doesn’t get dirty, but if little Timmy drops his burger, covered in mustard, ketchup and hot sauce on this, you don’t need to scrub it clean and it won’t stain either. Just give it a quick rinse with the hose! Same thing if the grass clippings from the lawnmower make their way on top of this- just spray them off! They dry super quick and since water doesn’t get trapped or held in the plastic weave, this won’t get moldy or stinky. This is so low maintenance (really, NO maintenance) and has so many positive characteristics that it’s basically a no brainer for anyone who enjoys time outside. The weave here is nice and tight, so there are no large voids. The long sides of the mat show the clean grid of the weave, while the short sides are finished/covered with a durable outdoor material. I’ve had my fair share of these mats, and seen my fair share of poor attempts to cover the raw ends (cheep, terrible material, loose or shoddy stitching, etc). The material used on this is nice and thick- not cheep or thin, yet still waterproof. It’s also stitched on very well with clean and even stitching that goes through the mat (so the ends don’t end up poking out) to the other side. But what REALLY sold me with this mat is the absouletly gorgeous design! Sure, these usually do have a nice design on them, but I have never seen/had one that is this intricate, beautiful or clean! When you consider the size of this and the fact it doesn’t have a repeating pattern (like squares, lines or squiggles), it really is incredible how beautiful and well done the design is. It adds an element of class and sophistication too!I will usually get a 4’x6′ mat that is lesser quality and no where near as good looking as this is for around $30-$35. For the size, $60 is really a fair deal that I am happy to every intention on doing so. BUT, when I came back to add another mat to my cart, there was a 40% off coupon offered! This didn’t just make my day, but my week, and probably my whole month too! The good deal became a total STEAL!

Very Pretty Waterproof Outdoor Rug – Reversible
Outdoor Waterproof Rug 6 x 9″ inches is a quality rug made of plastic straws woven on both sides of the rug. This rug has a pretty reversible floral design on both sides of the rug which has a semi-soft feel. The rug edges are reinforced and weaving appears strong enough to handle people traffic on deck. This rug can be used in various outdoor areas and is easy to clean by washing it with a damp cloth or hose it down with water. According to seller, rug is UV-resistant and is protected from fading and sun damage but there are no tags on rug verifying this claim. The rug comes with a convenient storage bag for transport campsites, friends barbecues, or other outdoor events. Seller claims 4 stakes was included to keep rug in place but we did not receive them. Overall, this plastic rug is good to use on deck, patio, or on grass. It appears to be a sturdy rug, able to handle many different environments and is very pretty to dress up the outdoors. Recommended.

Stylish and Sturdy Rug for Our Porch
This outdoor rug has exceeded our expectations! It’s incredibly durable, holding up well to foot traffic and even a few storms. We love how easy it is to clean â a quick hose-down and it’s good as new.The included carrying bag is a nice touch for easy storage during the off-season, or while driving down the road with your RV. We placed it on our front porch with our patio set, and it instantly transformed the space. It creates such a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The only minor drawback is the included stakes. They seem a bit flimsy, however this isn’t a big deal for us since it is on our porch.Overall, this is a fantastic rug for the price. We’re very happy with our purchase!

Perfect outdoor rug
Rugs made from this material are the best outdoor rugs for patio and camping. They really come clean even when in the mud. This one is nice and thick, reversible. True, vibrant turquoise color. Fabric binding looks to be heavy duty nylon that should hold up and is only on the ends. It comes around the corners about 6″ in order to have securing loops on the corner. Rest of the sides are woven of the mat material. Four simple stakes to help keep it flat and taut when laid on dirt or grass. I missed the mention that it came it with the carrying bag, which was a nice surprise. Helps keep it tidy and clean in the offseason and/or when in storage between camping trips. The fold creases will press out over time.

Big bright and beautiful!
If you have an outdoor area, this is a must have. Itâs brightened up our patio and added some elegance. We travel full time in our RV and weâve been complemented on this rug many times. Itâs not the normal brown dull ones you see. I feel like it brings a calming vibe to our deck.Itâs easy to move, fold up and travel with, cleaning off is a breeze, itâs built very well.Highly recommend this rug for any patio.

Definitely weatherproof but more of a tarp than a rug.
This rug-like-object is most definitely going to last a long time outside. Other than being a large rectangle which sort of lays on the floor it has very little in common with rugs. The rug’s consistency is a bunch of spun polyethylene fibers woven into a mesh. It looks and feels very much like any plastic tarp you’ve ever held. It’s wonderful for weather protection but not so great as a floor covering. My biggest gripe is that I can’t get the creases out and regardless of what I try it simply won’t lay flat on our patio. Four little stakes are included which would allow you to pin it down using the sewn-in corner loops but that’s of little assistance on a cement deck. I have it hanging up right now, rotating it even, but after a few days the folds have shown no indication of easing. I’m probably going to find another use for this because, as a rug, it’s not very good.
