Simple, yet elegant
The only possible complaint I could make is that assembly is long and involved. On the other hand, it has a lift top and a sliding top, and I knew that when I ordered it. So, the fact that it might require some time to put together shouldn’t come as a surprise. Also, I did have some trouble putting the screws for the lift-top arms in all the way. You might want to use a Phillips screwdriver electric drill bit instead of the Allen wrench/screwdriver tool that comes included.I like the storage. As someone who owns two cats who are constantly knocking things off tables, I appreciate the fact that I can keep small items in a space they can’t access. The item makes a tasteful decoration that has a somewhat rustic quality and not too posh-looking.Also, the table is very strong. I can actually sit on it. I really love this item. With its storage capacity, simple design and overall sturdiness, I don’t think I could have made a better choice for my home.

Good looking
A bit difficult to put together, but everything is anymore. Everything included, easy to follow instructions. I did it alone. I am happy with the look and quality. Pretty cool to sit and munch, but the storage is awesome too.

Sturdy and works as advertised
Coffee table works like a charm and the extra storage is perfect. I live in a small space so having the storage is a life saver, the table itself also isnât too bulky. Itâs also very stable so it can be eaten off of without issue. The assembly was kind of a doozy, there are a lot of moving parts to this so itâs to be expected but do keep that in mind. Definitely do-able just allocate a good chunk of time for it.

Passable, but not great – flimsy leg welds were fixed with hairpin legs.
This is kind of nasty cheap. It’s pretty much impossible to get the lift top and sliding top to line up correctly.While assembling, I tipped the BARE FRAME (no wood attached yet) at an angle, and the welds holding the blind nuts in the legs came loose. I pressed it back in, but any time we slid the table, it would pop out and basically fall over.Since we didn’t really like the legs anyways, we spent $20 on some 10 inch hairpin legs. I was not going to take this thing apart completely to remove the legs, so I flipped the table over on a blanket and smacked each leg a few times with a mallet. The welds all popped free immediately and two of them could just be unscrewed. the other two bent the screw, so a hacksaw got through the bolts easily. After that, I put the hairpin legs on the inside of the bottom metal frame, and screwed them in using some half inch long #10 pan-head screws (the supplied ones were 3/4 inch and would go through the wood)End result honestly looks a lot better. I think I could recommend this in the same context we got it for – something cheap to tide us over while we get our house set up. As for the design, I like it. I like a lift top that lets me use it as a desk, that part feels sturdy, and I like the slide-out part that lets you conveniently keep stuff like coffee books and remotes and video game controllers neatly stowed. I am probably going to build my own coffee table, but there are design details I’m going to take from this.

Very Functional
Been looking for a table like this for a while so I don’t have to sit at my desk to work while watching TV. This table is very functional. The top raises high enough to bring my laptop where it is comfortable to work from the couch. There is plenty of room for storage inside and the other side slides out for additional storage. It was easy enough to put together, just follow the directions closely. Do NOT over tighten screws as it says. Keep screw and bolts loose until it says to tighten. Following these hints will make it pretty easy. I was able to put it together myself but you will need a second person to help hold the top up until you can get some screws in it to hold it in place. Seems very sturdy so far. Just remember it is press wood with a laminate top. I really like the metal tube base as it makes the top more sturdy.

CHEAP & FLIMSeY
I purchased this to have as a place for my husband and kids to store the xbox controllers and games, remotes and other living room items. we put it together and immediately i could tel how cheaply this was made. the drawer and lift section didnt line up. you cant put anty weight on it, dont try to rest your feet on it. it is such a cheaply made item. i returned it ASAP. Save your money and buy so,ething better than this cardboard box.

Very practical!
Very pretty, very practical and functional. I love to be able to put away my stuff very easily. It works just as advertised.However, IT IS NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLE. If you are not very skilled at that sort of thing, I would advise you find something a bit simpler. However once is built, is good to go. I do love it. But there was no way could’ve build that on my own
