Looks great, well made, recommended
This table looks great in my small dining room. I had to downsize from my old house, and this was a nice solution. It’s maybe a snug fit to get 6 adults around the table, but most of the time, I won’t need it for that many at once. It seems sturdy enough for the kids in my family when they come over. Also a great size for working a large jigsaw puzzle or most anything else. I’ll probably leave the leaf in all the time since it seems to be a good size.It wasn’t too bad to put together. I’m a petite older gen x-er, and I had no problem putting this together and flipping it over by myself when done. Chairs were easy to put together too. Regarding instructions, I might have liked slightly more detail on the table instructions. It took me a bit to get the holes aligned when I got to the final step of putting the frame on the table. Didn’t think of all the ways to slide things around to get them perfectly aligned, so there was a moment of panic before I figured it out. The chairs came separately, in two large boxes, about 3 days before the table. If I’m recalling correctly, the table came in one big box. There was sturdy styrofoam packing to nest all the pieces perfectly to protect them. All the boxes were nicely packed with adequate packing and corner reinforcements to stand up to normal shipping and handling conditions. I wasn’t missing any parts and didn’t have any issues with shipping damage either. I contacted customer service to confirm tracking for the table since it didn’t arrive on the same day as the chairs, and they responded promptly and helpfully to my request. All in all, I am happy with the purchase. Love the look, which goes well with my funky mid-century modern decor. Recommended.

Worth it
Getting this table was an interesting journey. First thing you need to know is the table top, legs, and chairs will most likely show up on different days. I had no idea this could be the case so when the table top showed up but there were no legs, I contacted the seller immediately. They responded very quickly and were ready to make it right by shipping out new legs. Two days later, the legs were delivered and thankfully I was able to contact the seller again prior to new legs being sent out. I still had not received the chairs though so I inquired about them. They did tell me that they may arrive as a separate delivery but because of the delay, they wanted to send me two additional chairs at no cost. I received all the chairs (6 that came as part of the set and 2 extra that they added) about 4 days or so later. They were all beautiful, had no damage from shipping, easy to assemble, and are very comfy. Now for the table top…the first one I received had broken cables underneath, the ones that help with the opening/closing to extend the table. I was disappointed because I was so excited about the table and how beautiful it was but the seller immediately shipped out a new top and said I did not need to return the damaged one. I received the new top approximately 4-5 days later. It was not damaged at all thankfully. It was very easy to put the legs on the table top. It is VERY heavy though so most will need help to get it inside, turn it right side up after attaching the legs, and/or moving it into place. It is very easy to open and utilize the leaf. I would highly recommend opening all boxes outside before bringing anything inside if possible…there is a lot of styrofoam and it gets everywhere. I would buy this table/chair set a million times over or any other product from this seller just based on their quick responses and wanting to make everything right. This is a beautiful, heavy, quality set and I don’t know how anyone could possibly regret buying it.

Beautiful–but not “solid wood”. Make sure to read the fine print!
After searching for years, I found this extendable dining table almost by accident. It checked all the boxes on my list of desirables–a beautiful, sleek and mid-century design, extendable, a sturdy yet elegant base, not too wide, great basic length and extendable to accommodate up to eight people. On top of that, it comes with six matching chairs, all of this–at a great price. The packages arrived very quickly–and everything was in perfect condition (the company sent me a warning by e-mail that the table top might be broken and that I shouldn’t worry if that was the case. Not an issue here!). My husband and I assembled the whole thing in about 90 minutes (don’t let the instructions fool you–they say “15 minutes”, but it really takes much more than that and does require two people since the table is heavy and screws need to go into rather hard-to-reach places). It is beautiful, exactly as pictured, and it works great in our dining area. My only qualm is–it is certainly not “solid wood”. Instead, it is very well-made engineered wood, information you find in the description of the “table-only” version, but not in the not in the description of the set that we purchased nor in the narrative description of the table and the set. It still looks great (the color is warm), and I’ll get used to the feel of the surface, but had I known that it is not real wood, I would have thought about ordering it twice. Make sure to read the fine print!

Not the widest top but the quality is great!
This table is sturdy, the legs are beasts and the top is good quality and I love how easy the insert slides in. I’m sure over time I’ll have to buy the slider lubrication stuff cuz it came with a lot on it while building it it does get on your hands. It handles us building other things on it during the move and doesn’t scratch easy. My only complaint is the table is narrow. Like taller bigger family family members will look big at this table and there won’t be a lot of room for lots of extra plates. But for a smaller dining room, condo or townhome units this is really nice.
