Beautiful bed frame, wonderful quality!
First Impressions:There’s not much to say besides the fact that I LOVE this bed frame! The look, feel, color, design, fabric, and every thing else about this bed frame is on point! I just moved out of my parents house for the first time ever and I wanted to pick something that would look absolutely adorable in my new studio apartment. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this bed frame! The color is just a tiny bit darker than it appears in the ad pictures but don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous and pictures just don’t do it justice. I have the Zinus green tea memory foam mattress and it fits the bed frame perfectly. Nothing hangs over and there is no “extra” space around the mattress. My mattress is supposedly the 12 inch but I’m 99% certain that I received the 10 inch. It’s the perfect height for the bed frame. Since my apartment is so small, side tables aren’t an option so the fact that this bed frame has a flat top, where you can set things, is an added bonus. My boyfriend and I keep our phones charging on the top of the bed frame and it works wonderful so we can hear our alarm.Problems:I do have one complaint with this bed frame, however. When I received mine, putting it together was a struggle because one of the boards to the frame that the plastic legs screw into didn’t have any groves inside the hole. We had the hardest time getting one of the legs in because we had to hammer it in to create grooves because there were none. This only happened for one of the bed legs. The rest had the grooves inside like they were supposed to. I am not taking a star off for this because 1. I think it was just a factory mistake and probably didn’t affect very many of these and 2. It wasn’t a big enough problem that I had to return it. Other than that, this bed frame was very easy to put together with a couple other helping hands.Shipping:The shipping was awesome. It got here on time and was boxed beautifully. The box had visible damage, as expected, but nothing inside was damaged. The box weighed a TON so this is definitely not the most “moving friendly” package especially if you’re moving far. If you are moving far, I would recommend waiting to order this product to your new address instead of trying to haul it around. I knew this was the case as I could see the shipping weight but it was not an option for me. So, even though this box is heavy, it’s definitely not impossible to move. It is difficult to get up stairs, however, so I’d recommend getting your strong friends to help!After Use:This bed frame has held up wonderfully and I’ve been sleeping on it for about 5 months. It is very sturdy and will withstand whatever activities you choose to participate in on top of it. I haven’t noticed much bowing in the wooden boards underneath. I tend to flop down on the bed without caution and it doesn’t budge one bit. It’s not squeaky, and doesn’t crick and crack when you move around, get on, or get off the bed. It’s 100% silent 100% of the time no matter what it is that you’re doing.Overall:Overall this was a wonderful purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy looking, reasonably priced, bed frame. I’ve even bragged about it so much that my sister is going to buy the exact same bed frame when we move in together next semester and I would even purchase this product again. I absolutely love it.If this review was helpful, please let me know!EDIT: Now after having this bedframe for 6 years and three moves, it has started to squeak over the past few years. It makes noise getting on and off and while moving around on top of it too. I’m not sure if it’s something that can be fixed with some WD40 or if that’s just what happens but it hasn’t been a big enough problem for me yet, but it is a little annoying.

I absolutely love this bed! I saw this bed mentioned as a top pick on a popular consumer product review website, so I thought I’d give it a try since the price was so reasonable. I’d been looking at king-sized tufted headboards for awhile, and everything I liked was much more $$ for the headboard alone than this entire bed.The delivery was super easy. The back of the headboard has a hollow cavity, and all of the components for the bed frame are stored in there in a zippered section on the back side. The shipping container is just the size of the headboard. Though it is somewhat large and very heavy, it’s easy to get the individual pieces out of the storage cavity and into the bedroom. I did it all by myself.Installation was straightforward. The metal bed frame makes a t-shape support for the mattress, which gives excellent support to the middle of the bed. Other frames I’ve used before only support the box springs or mattress on the edges, which can eventually cause the mattress to sag in the middle, but not with this bed. The sides and bottom of the bed are upholstered, too, which makes for a lovely, sturdy finished product.There are bowed slats placed side-to-side across the frame edges that provide support for the entire length of the mattress. I’ve used a system like that before and found it to work quite well. This bed is no exception. My favorite part is that the slats are lined along the edges with velcro to keep them in place. That’s a brilliant idea by the designers!The headboard attaches very securely, as well, and the finished product looks excellent. Though I would prefer the headboard to extend slightly taller, I am otherwise thrilled with this purchase, and will absolutely buy more beds from Zinus as my kids get older and need upgrades.

Beautiful, sturdy bed for the money.
I’ve been sleeping on this bed (king size) for 3 days. First off let me say that the design of this bed is simple yet gorgeous. It looks far more expensive than the money you pay for it. In terms of quality: So far, so good. At this moment in time I’ll admit it is a quality product for the money. In my case, it is supporting an extremely heavy Tempur-Pedic mattress along with myself and my girlfriend (combined 350 lbs). I have not felt any sort of shaking, heard any creaking or anything of the sort so it appears to be very sturdy. We’ll see how it holds up over time but so far all of the positive reviews which led me to buying this product seem to check out.The only negatives about buying this great product is the shipping weight and assembly. It may be because my bed is a king size but I found it very difficult to transport to the 2nd floor without the help of others and I once delivered office and house furniture for a living. Certainly not a good time.The assembly is quite easy to the naked eye but some of the bolts used to assemble the bed are in postions where you have to continuously remove and re-insert the included Hex-key multiple times before the bolt can tighten properly. If you have a screw gun handy, you may want to use that to save time. But be sure to take it easy as this bed was intended to be assembled by hand.To conclude:-This bed is a beautiful, fantastic product.-Shipping weight is extremely heavy. Grab a helper.-Assembly is a pain in the wrist. Find an easier alternative.Hope this helps.

First of all, whoever designed this bed is brilliant. All of the pieces are stored in the back of the headboard, which means that, when you move, you’re able to put it all back and not have to worry about losing anything. There are about 5 loose bolts that need to be put in, and the others tuck into the headboard, footboard, and sideboards. There’s very little to lose. It also comes with a plastic package that shows which bolts are which, and gives extras of each bolt.Assembly took about 30-35 minutes, and it again showed the intelligence of the designer. I won’t need instructions to disassemble it. Contrast this to my old frame, which required a degree in mechanical engineering to assemble and disassemble. (I’m joking, but after losing the instruction manual, it was a lot of trial and effort to put together one bolt and two washers per fastening, repeated x 20.)The bed is very solid, silent, and looks great. Slats are maybe 1.5″ apart, making it perfect for foam beds.Another poster mentioned that they have an average-sized mattress and it went midway up the headboard. My mattress is 10″ thick. I looked online and saw that mattresses were from 8-18″ tall. The distance from the frame to the top of the headboard is 31″. So, if their mattress was 15-18″ tall, then yes, it would reach up that high, but I’d hesitate in saying that that’s the average height of mattresses. Regardless, you can use the measurements above to see how your mattress would look.We saw either this exact same model or something that looked almost identical to it in a store for over a thousand. Other options that would have required a boxspring were maybe half that, plus the boxspring. Honestly, this looks better and is more solidly built than the options we saw at (can I name names?) Jysk, Ashley’s (well, options under a thousand), Leon’s, and a couple of independent stores. This was a Hail Mary purchase, but I’m a huge fan. Will update if anything changes.

this is very easy to assemble and quite solid when put together. No squeaking or rocking. We have a very flexible mattress (designed for an adjustable frame) and the base is solid for it as well. For the price it’s very good value.

I was afraid to buy a bed frame from Amazon, cuz wanted to touch, sit on and try it first. But then saw the reviews and risked. My experience with Amazon and delivery men was great. Now to the bed. It looks very good and is easy to assemble. I did it myself within an hour. There was manual and hand tool for bolts – very handy! It had its “made in China” smell after unpacking and first few hours. So far it looks great and sturdy. It’s handy that slats are connected together makes their fitting easier. Upholstery material looks and feels very decent, it will be easy to clean. Didn’t check the legs before buying, for some reason not what I expected but they seem okay. The sticky parts for slats got glued in upholstery with a part of plastic wrap. Be careful pulling the wrap and not pull it with fabric all together. Fantastic purchase overall.
