A Great Buy!!
I had to get a new bed platform w/headboard due to the drawers and no headboard blocking moisture and causing mold in my bedroom. I hated to get rid of it because it was solid wood and extremely solid but was left with no choice for my health sake. I saw this one with the four posters and attached headboard and thought of all of the creative things I could hang/do, so I read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find it had 5 stars and virtually everyone was thrilled with it. When the bed arrived, I was upset to find box looked like it had been through WWIII with both ends ripped open and various large holes ripped throughout the body of the box, I was not called to tell me box was coming, nor was I able to inspect it prior to it being left leaning over my apt door where someone could potentially be crushed by it. It weighs 90+ lbs and I am disabled Widow, but since I have a kid at home, both of us were able to barely slowly lift it and drag it into the house where it had to sit in my hallway for a few days before I could pay someone to come out and put this together. Fortunately, it was well wrapped and cushioned so nothing was damaged or scratched and parts were all there, but it took an hour and a half to put together between the hired help and the kid. And it definitely requires 2 people to put this together, one to assemble the parts and one to hold. I was initially nervous that this bed would not hold my weight, as I am a plus sized lady of about 240 lbs. but it is one sturdy piece of furniture and I love it!! It’s like having a cozy adult fort or a swanky little tent in your bedroom or like something you would expect in a BNB, it’s so worth it, and a great price! It was a bit of a headache to put together, so here’s a helpful tip: gather all of the pieces first and make sure they are all there by group, matching them to the letters on the instructions, and then connect the frame pieces first after you have determined which ones they are according to the diagram, because the instructions go by number, but the parts go by letter. The pieces have number stickers on them, but the instructions are not so clear to understand. The pieces with the tape on them are for the mattress support so it will not slide off the frame. After all was said and done, this is a very sturdy bed, and it looks great with the sheer scarves and lights I purchased to hang on it. Bed aware that the bed is long, so if you live in an apt like I do, you may want to check the measurements beforehand, because I have a long bedroom so the bed would only go one way in the room, making the clearance to close the bedroom door just a few inches, lol. Other than that, I highly recommend this nice frame/headboard and canopy set. You’ll be thrilled. Nice wrought iron steel, and good 4 square poster supports, and frame supports. Sturdy bolts and re-usable tools all included. Great for yourself, a kids or guest room, lends a nice simple, or stately touch. You will not be disappointed with the quality and stability.

If youâre looking for a simple, clean-lines, sturdy, canopy bed ~ BUY IT!
My husband and I LOVE our new bed! It seems very sturdy. Heâs 240lbs and Iâm 150lbs and even when it starts a rockinâ it holds up well. You can use it with or without a box spring which I like. We use our box spring and it looks great and it doesnât slide around. My husband just gets a kick out of seeing me leap up onto the tall bed like a little kid. Iâm 5â4â so it might be hard to get up onto it with the box spring if youâre smaller or have mobility issues. I used 3 sheer curtains along with two strands of the tiny wire curtain lights that have 8 settings and our bed looks fabulous. The instructions were pretty simple to follow once you figure out their rhyme & reason but it did take us a second to decipher. We put it together in less than 30 minutes and we had so much fun doing it! It took me WAY longer to figure out how to DECORATE the canopy than it did to put the bed together. Itâs very good quality for the price. Iâm even loving the little rubber mallet they give you to tap the pieces into place. I used the mallet to pound in some anchors into the walls and it worked like a charm. Anchors always break in our walls when we use a regular hammer but not with the rubber mallet! Itâs an added bonus that Iâll probably use for other things. The box is super heavy so you need two people to carry it but I was happy about that because it meant that the bed would most likely be sturdy. Iâm so pleased with the outcome. I was able to purchase our new bed and decorate our canopy with the fabrics and the lighting for about $200 total. My husband loves it too despite him being such a manly man. I think his exact words were âooh our own private honeymoon suite!â Which was cute since weâve been married for 26 years. Both of us think it is a great product for the price and it was really fast shipping! Weâll have lots of fun for years to come in our new bed!!!!

After two nights this bed impresses me! For those who don’t feel like reading my rave review, it’s sturdy, sleek & beautiful, and I recommend this bed frame to everyone. I have been in the market for a new bed frame for ages but I wanted to get something that would last, would offer me styling options, as well as functionality for a crazy little idea I had.Assembly was incredibly easy, I didn’t glance at the instructions until after but if I had needed them, they were wonderfully detailed. Just go in order! Literally 1, 2, 3,… Each piece is labeled, and its connection is labeled. (Example: Part #13 is labeled 13 and the area on the pieces it’s meant to connect to is also labeled 13).THE HEX RATCHET IS HONESTLY THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER USED, it made putting this bed together so quick!The hardware is not bad but a few of hex bolt heads could have stripped but I did tighten them extra tight, they do have lock washers on them which I love.I didn’t have to use the rubber mallet but it was nice to have just-in-case.I have a sleep number mattress and foundation [essentially a box spring], and if I’m honest I think a box spring will help evenly distribute weight, prevent sagging in areas which would cause localized stress on certain slats, and overall ensure the longevity of the “slats”.In using a box spring in addition to the 14-inch high platform + a mattress you will definitely be higher up but it’s a comfortable height for me.My muscle memory hasn’t adjusted to avoid the center leg (LOL) so I have whacked my foot a few times and it will do damage to your foot if you’re not careful! So be mindful and stick some noodles on em until your body adjusts to the change, learn from my mistake and two fractured toes. So far, this bed is 10/10 worth the two fractured toes for me :P.I was slightly confused by the four slats that had nonslip tape on them, one because there were only four of them, and two because I wasn’t entirely sure if they’re meant to place in specific slots for maximum functionality. In the end, it didn’t apply to me as I left the paper on since they would serve me no purpose with the style of my bed foundation.If you shake enough the frame will move, possibly make noise but I don’t plan on jumping or engaging in vigorous activities…on this bed.Best of all, my crazy little idea worked perfectly with this bed frame. Theatre bed on a budget 😛 LOL!I’ll update this in the future if I think of anything else or if the quality deteriorates but I have high hopes.

I assembled everything myself and my experience in handy work is usually hanging picture frames. As per others suggested, I arranged the parts on the floor first, then I assembled. Very sturdy, my daughter is very happy!

Set this up by myself and it took about 4 hours (I was taking my sweet time). The instructions are super clear and it came with all the tools I needed. The final product is so amazing. It’s durable with zero squeaking and the mattress stays on firmly. Literally zero complaints! My sister even bought one for herself after seeing how gorgeous it looks in my room with curtains on LOL
