easy to install and works great
recently installed a 3-blade ceiling fan with a built-in light, and it has completely transformed the comfort and style of my room. I’m a fan, but…!
We have been looking for an industrial looking fan for some time and when this came up, I couldn’t refuse it! The black goes with our industrial looking home/finish. I had to borrow a laddder in order to hang this up, but assembly and installation was easy. Due to the pitch of our ceiling, I had to go with the longer downrod, but not a big deal.The lighting is perfect for either soft night light, or if you have company and need it much brighter white light.The remote gives you good control over the various speeds, direction, and lighting. I really like the time as this is heating ceiling and with the high volume ceilings, a lot of the heat is at the ceiling. With the reverse, and the timer, I can not set it and forget it. Our previous fan would be turned on and forgotten, wasting needless energy. My wife says she can hear a slight buzz while it is running, not overly loud, but noticible. So, I’m not sure if there is something wrong or a normal amount as I wear two cochlear implants and whatever the frequency is, I’m not hearing it.Overall quality appears good.I know the remote takes care of all the settings, but now we have 5 remotes for various devices in the livingroom, uggh!

Looks great and runs smooth
I wanted a fan that had more blades AND had a large enough light to light a room (not just an accent light). This one looked like it had a decent size light along with the option to change lighting modes from cool, daylight and warm. The fan wasn’t too bad to assemble and we loved that it had an option to choose a wood grain or black blade depending on the style you like. We went with wood grain since we had a warmer tone to our house. The blades themselves feel thin so I am a little worried about that but so far, it runs smoothly, quietly and had no troubles with it on low to medium speed. We probably will never use the highest speed BUT if we do, there is no concern about air flow. I can feel it from the other side of a 40ft room (with no obstacles in the way). Highest speed does cause a little wobble but easily fixable with minor adjustments.The fan looks beautiful and we have no complaints so far.

Nice Fan, but Instructions Stink
Once I got the fan installed, I was very happy with it. It has a nice minimalist look with three blades and solid black finishes. The light has three color temperatures, which are cycled through every time you press the light button on the remote. This is a bit annoying, as I would rather have it save the previous setting, but I can live with it. The remote control is awesome. It comes with a wall mount to help prevent the dreaded lost remote control, and it has all of the functions available for use on the remote. There are 6 fan speeds, buttons for the fan and light controls, as well as forward/reverse (which is usually a switch up on the fan) and a button that creates a breeze.The only problem is that the instructions for installation are terrible. At no point in the process does it reference the specific pieces that are listed on the first page (bolt B, bracket C, etc) so you have to make some guesses based on the drawings. Also, there are two steps (the light attachment and the final housing cover) that require you to back out screws that came installed in the housing in order to attach those parts. This was not clear on the installation guide and the bolts for the housing cover were especially problematic because by that point in the process it was very hard to reach a screwdriver up there to loosen those bolts. Luckily, I have a 90* drill attachment and was easily able to get to those screws, but if the installer did not have that it would have been much more difficult or maybe they even would have had to uninstall most of the fan to get to those screws. Luckily, I have experience installing fans and am comfortable working up on a ladder, so these shortcomings did not cause me too many issues. However, I could see where the installation process would be much more frustrating for others. This is the most difficult fan I have had to install.
