Easy to install, works great!
This lock works amazingly well. It was easy to set up – if you have ever added any smart devices with or without a gateway, this will be super easy – and the features all work flawlessly. Installing the lock itself is a simple matter of swapping it with your existing deadbolt, then plugging in the Bluetooth gateway nearby, sync the gateway with your preferred smart device app (we use Tuya Smart app), then put the batteries in and when it powers up the gateway will pick it up and immediately add it to your smart home. The fingerprint reader and RFID card work really good. We also added the lock to Google Home so we can lock and unlock by voice (yes, you will need to set up a pin in order to unlock via voice). The seller also sent messages through Amazon prior to arrival with tips to make install easier, and then a week later to make sure everything works well. Just an amazing experience – quality product and excellent customer service!

Works extremely well, does what it states it can do and does it right
Once you set it up and get the wifi hooked in with the Gateway, it works as advertised. I like being able to lock and unlock my door from anywhere and I love the history as to who has been in and out of the door. The keys that come with it are easy to set up and work well. For the price this is an EXTREMELY good deal and worth the money. It is a small challenge to use the support as it is in Asia, but they answer quickly once they open up and are very good at explaining what needs to be done. They are also very polite.

I recently installed the Hornbill Smart WiFi Front Door Lock, and it has been a generally convenient addition to my home, though the fingerprint feature could use improvement.Installation: The installation was straightforward, with clear instructions and all necessary parts included. The app is intuitive, making it easy to monitor the lockâs status and control it remotelyâa great feature for when Iâm away or need to let someone in.Fingerprint Sensor: This is where the lock falls a bit short. The fingerprint scanner works well at times, but itâs inconsistent. Occasionally, it fails to recognize my fingerprint, requiring me to try multiple times or switch to using the keypad or app instead. This can be frustrating, especially when Iâm in a hurry or have my hands full.Security: Despite the fingerprint issues, the lock itself feels solid and secure, and I appreciate the auto-lock feature that ensures the door is secured if I forget. Life changing product and great price
I rarely write reviews but have to share. This product can actually be lifechanging. For a busy mom, this lock assures that my home will be secure. The fact that it automatically locks, is a game changer. My son used to frequently forget to lock the door, now I know it will be locked. I love all the options: key fob, fingerprint, code, key, Alexa… I mean seriously this lock is amazing. Now I can issue separate codes to contractors, cleaning companies etc. And it’s also handy to issue codes that expire, no more reprogramming on the keypad.I am also very impressed by the support the company provides. I called them 1x for support but was able to resolve the issue. They have called me back several time to check if my issue has been resolved, wow!I was concerned b/c it said it works with 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi and I have 5 g but it also works with Bluetooth and a free-mini gateway.All this and the price is incredible! I am very very happy.

Not broken, but wonât work
Installing this was fairly straightforward, but once it was in, we attempted to use the app to create a passcode so we could actually use the lock. No matter what we did, we could not get it working.We looked at the website and called the number and tried chatting too, all to no avail. Two days later a text from support finally came in. Unfortunately the person who texted us did not seem to know the product, and they were unable to help us get a passcode entered, but did not think the lock had anything wrong with it. Since the lock is useless without a code, we now have an uncodeable lock that was nothing but a waste of money.We have used other digital locks like this and been able to program them fine, but this is one you will want to avoid.
